    the fact that Lyle did all of that to confuse the police and try to cover up with the receipt, the phone calls and the pile of dirt to look like a ‘grave’ while he probably put her in a dumpster shows that he had this planned he knew what he was doing.

      We can’t even say rest in pease bc she’s not even resting in peace bro 😞 I honestly thing that lyle’s actions were so random, who kills their wife during a simple argument that couples are normally supposed to have those are the ups and downs of having a relationship sometimes you don’t agree on stuff sometimes you do and this man decided to kill her and the fact that Eleanor never mentioned lyle feeling some type of guilt is sad asf

    I feel like landfill sites should have cadaver dogs that check the dump trucks or something before they’re dumped into landfills😕there should be some system because it’s terrifying to see how many humans have ended up in landfills because there’s no control system about what will be dumped.

    • @aromaladyellie
      @aromaladyellie 3 роки тому +421

      Agreed. Though I wonder if the smell of all the rest of the rubbish in them would tamper with what the dogs are looking for. Because one would think they could just take a cadaver dog to a landfill to find dead bodies easier, but they can't.

    • @KalisaKlay
      @KalisaKlay 3 роки тому +366

      @@aromaladyellie Im no expert, but I would imagine you're right and the rotting of garbage could contribute to making things more difficult. Top that with the depth a body could be within a short period of time. Definitely seems like a hard task for anyone, even a trained search animal.
      For those who dont know- At landfills, literal mountains of garbage are moved around daily, as oxygen is needed to continue breakdown; Something laying a foot below the surface could easily be 500-1000 yards away and 30ft under the surface within a day or two.. after a bit of time, that pile would be shuffled around again. Finding a body in a place like that is as close to "finding a needle in a haystack" as I could imagine.
      Edited for typos.

      I think it's fabulous for a cadaver dog, as it's his job to sniff out dead bodies, as he works probably more than the average human. If that dog could only talk and tell cops how many times they were SOOO close. If only they hadn't quit, that dog would've found the body. I think they should collar them like bear hunting dogs who have GPS signal attached, give them a scent, and let them go at it. If they find the body, train them to sit and bark randomly, instead of dig them up. It would work so much better than a human, who ALSO has a similar scent, holding you by a leash, to find someone. It would also cut down on time, as dogs can normally run faster than ppl

After we married he moved me away from my family and I wasn't allowed to call them cause long distance and then I wasn't allowed to visit them cause I was now a married woman and I shouldn't need my family. At church I wasn't allowed to make friends because I had an image to uphold. 5 years later he wouldn't let me work and I was left home alone all the time. He would go out with other women after work and I was completely isolated and depressed. After our second physical altercation I decided enough was enough but I couldn't just up and go cause I had removed everyone from my life. It took almost a year for me to leave between his cheating and making me feel like it was my fault and his entire family making me feel like I was worthless without him and if I left I would be shun.

      You just kind of do, you just keep going, the feeling of loss never really goes away, but it gets easier to live with. I still haven’t fully come to terms with a good friend of mine having been shot and killed, then her killer ran away and ended his own life. She had a son too, seeing him at the wake, not understanding where mommy went, that broke me. It still makes me cry thinking about it. And how broken her mom was while she put on a brave face for her grandson, that strength, that got me too. But in a way, it was heartwarming. She stayed strong in the face of loss and I think that’s something we all do and are capable of, All loss hurts like a sonuva and you want so bad for it to just be a bad dream. Personally I keep on living and keep the people I’ve lost in my heart and memory so that in a way, they still live on through my memories and the love I still and always will have for them. I try every day to be someone I think they would still be proud to call friend/family. To be someone I’m proud of. We humans really are capable of such amazing strength.

    Pretty sure the "Indiana Bones" dog name was just a funny pun off of Indiana Jones and dogs liking bones. I have some insight because my mother fostered puppies for a military/police dog program. The puppies are named when they're born, usually with each litter having a theme so you can tell them apart. They don't decide which role or job the dog will get until they train them and observe their personalities and strengths. Indiana's litter probably were all puns off of movies and it was just a coincidence that he/she ended up as a cadaver dog.

  • @Tiffanado
    @Tiffanado 3 роки тому +45

    Just my theory, but Leslie could have been taking a bath to relax after an argument. Maybe she says she is going to leave or something which set him off so violently. He cools down a bit, but catches her off guard taking a bath to relax, and drowns her, leading to the water going everywhere. Then, he wraps her up in the rug but as he is arranging her body, he knocks over the candle, picks it up to prevent a fire but leaves the wax because he had to move quickly. He then puts her in the vehicles as Eleanor says. I feel like it is more likely that the altercation occured in the bathroom , like a crime of opportunity. I think He saw her relaxing, got angry, and decided to take her chance of happiness without him away permanently. Because it seems impractical to have an argument in one room and fill up a bathtub and commit a murder and move the fight to the bathroom, if that makes sense. Rest in peace , she deserved so much better.

    My heart goes out to Leslie's family, it's heartbreaking that they can't have the closure of knowing what happened to her. I can't imagine the pain they must be feeling. I hope they are doing alright and can find even a tiny bit of peace.

    HELL NO, even IF I am innocent, I would NOT "sit there in that police office" /interrogation room and give answers... without an attorney present!

    • @VeginMatt
      @VeginMatt 3 роки тому +11

      Exactly, it sucks that innocent people have to be so defensive but better then having your life torn up because you can't remember your day perfectly. I'm tired of hearing that innocent people have nothing to hide, that does not mean I don't have a right to privacy from strangers because they carry a badge.

    I have had to call well fare checks on my sister, who has mental health issues, and they don't wait until they see the person. Twice, the abusive boyfriend said she was fine, and they left, without seeing it talking to her. And another time, I had to call it in 3x before they even went over there, and then they said there was no answer, and I think they lied because they didn't want to do it.

    I'm starting to see a pattern of older people being single and A REALLY GOOD CATCH only to then murder their usually impressionable, much younger partner.
    There's usually a reason older people are single when they're looking for someone half their age, because no one their age is falling for that crap.
    My heart goes out to all the victims of these vile, unstable people.
