@goniochromism Hiya lunar! To be honest, it's pretty much just a modest limiter applied on the master bus. The output comes from NotSo Fatso @ 88200Hz with the filters switched off / none of the pop-reducer stuff turned on. I should probably EQ the channels though; I'm not too fond of the typical output quality of most NSF players, accuracy regardless.
@skinnyhead2000 Thanks :) Actually I made a mistake; It's really 0.3.5 beta 1. Pretty much the reason was because it was much more stable / consistent for me than the release 0.3.5 version was at the time. (Though certainly not perfect, noise channel being one of them).

I really love the way this is mixed, really bright and punchy. sounds awesome. any tips???? I think I heard a part of this song a couple of years back but never the full thing before.
After hearing this song I listened to the original and it was horrible. It's really just the melody that was adapted, the awesome chords and effects are all chibi.
This new version is subtly more amazing! Cowbells were hilarious. I'd love to add this to my collection, too... Is it hosted on your site? If I guess URLs for long enough will I find it?

Not many people can cover/remix a song with video game chips from the 80's and put the original to shame
