Biggs and Selfless Red Vets look good on paper, but when building a squad I just can't see anything really good to combo them with. Rebels don't have many pilots in 2.0 whose hit points are so precious that it's worth fielding a human shield (maybe Corran, but he doesn't seem that he wants to be shackled to range 1 of a T-65). There are lower-agility pilots (like the named B-Wings and Ghosts) who can be vulnerable, but taking damage on a 2-agility T-65 instead of a 1- or 0-agility squadmate is inefficient because hull and shields are more costly at higher agility.
You can just fly a block of Selfless and/or Biggs to spread incoming damage to the healthiest friendly, but that seems to limit you to formation flying and swarms probably do that better.
Has anyone found a killer squad with Biggs?

I ran E-wingR3s before ... it could be a lot of fun ... but my brother/opponent was running 3 quadjumpers and a Latz-Razzi TractorV6.
The EWingR3s are essentially ace builds ... and 3 low initiative quadjumpers backing up unpredictably constantly in the middle of an asteroid field (with Latz as primary punisher) proved to be a complete counter-ace platform for me.
So ... I can't really say I had a proper experience with that one. lol

Hey GSP! was looking to use the Turret remotes found in the epic battle expansions for our own battle of yavin scenario but couldnt find a recomended points cost for these? they do seem to be pretty powerful with 3 attack! any chance you could recommend a cost for these? or anyone for that matter? have you ever used them? Cheers!

Alright. As someone who plays E wings a lot, allow me to make a case for R4. While the advantages of R3 are obvious and nothing to scoff at, giving E-wings R4 opens up a lot more freedom for linked actions, and other shenanigans. Range control is easier, and you can still be effective in a dogfight after doing a cheeky sloop or K turn
cant wait to see this for the other factions!
Love this as its a good way of giving solid suggestions for newer players, or for experienced players to try something fresh.... Or to be wary of at tournaments :p
Bonus random suggestion for Rebels in Epic:
- CR90 with Liberator title
- Rebel Sheathipede (doesn't matter which pilot, take your pick)
Free co-ordinate when your epic ship is about to activate, as the Sheathipede backed in ability isn't limited to being docked to the Ghost / VCX-100 ;)

Also, the auzituck gets a lot of hate, but he still has it better than Sabine’s tie. It’s pretty much useless in v2
