It was a good day. The main flaw Thursday that most of the visiting locos were only doing the kidderminster to Bewdley shuttles, so as well as not making full use of the line, it was a short connection at kidderminster. Which was fine until they let one go 30 seconds before the other stopped!
@@garthcox4307 oops! I didn’t really pick up on that - I just camped out at Bewdley for a couple of hours after work and saw things as they came and went without really referencing the timetable. Back today for the full day 😊
@StokesTrains the 11 30 ex kidderminster with d1015 pulled out just as the incoming train stopped. That stuffed a lot of people. I had a good plan b but as a result I never made it to bridgnorth all day, which is a waste when you've spent 40 on a ticket. Previous years there's been enough north of Bewdley not to need to go back to kidderminster but it felt like I spent half the day on that section. It was still a good event.
@@garthcox4307good to hear that you enjoyed it nonetheless. But yes, I agree - having looked at the timetable it does feel a challenge to fit it all in, even without any mishaps!!
Loved that, thanks! Always a treat to see such nice variety 😊
Glad you enjoyed! Good to know I didn’t get wet for nothing 😂😂

Very enjoyable video. Hope you didn't get too wet!!
Not too wet… At least Bewdley has lots of places to shelter.
Hoping to visit the SVR on Saturday
Hope you have a great day! So many locos running that it’s hard to see them all!
The wet weather suits the diesels 😂
Bah humbug!!
I came here to find out what a Class 17 sounded like (D8568) - I wasn't disappointed!
Marvellous! Really pleased you found what you were looking for! 😀👍
Very brave, the weatger looks horrible...!
It wasn’t the best! At least there was some shelter on the platform though 👍
