    I respect this language and culture so much. I worked with a lot of people who spoke Fulani in NYC and I have learned a lot from them, even picked up on alot of words and made up some sentences. A lot of them are like family now, and I am very interested in learning the language entirely to fully communicate with them as much as possible, but in their native language. Currently I am able to speak English and Spanish, but fulani’s dialect was very easy for me to pick up and remember and I feel comfortable even attempting to speak it. So far I am enjoying your channel because I still want to learn a lot more and hope to fully get it all one day.

    Subscribed from Germany. I'm a social worker and many of my clients are Fulani. Few years ago one boy I took care of taught me some words and I always wanted to learn more. I think it really helps people when you at least can say some nice things in their mother tongue and show your respect to them this way. Keep on the good work, thank you very much!

      I know in Senegal you can get a degree in Fula so they have books.
      I also know US peace corps has books to learn the common dialect in many countries (Gambia, Senegal, Guinea, etc.)
      If you do use books definilty also listen to people speaking (such as this) because some of the ways that letters are pronounced are different (for example in the Gambia Pulaar books C is pronounced more like ch)

    Fulani is a major branch of Louisiana Creole or Mobilian Trade Language what whites call it two So-called Native American languages also rooted in Muscogee. I am a Louisiana Creole from Fulani ancestry. I want to reconstruct our language.

    • @kreal1
      @kreal1 5 років тому +3

      @@LearnFulani I am the rapper/recording artist named K. Real my birth name is Muhammad-Khalil ibn Abdullah or Abdullahi. Last year I became a Naturalized Gambian. Google French Louisiana and Spanish Louisiana look at the maps. The Brirish-American controlled Louisiana is much smaller. Old Louisiana was a Indian Reservation. Ask any Creolé from America they will tell you we mixed with the Native Indian populations. Our issue here is two fold one as native peoples we have a right to our original tribal land and right to govern ourselves secondly is the religious aspect of Fulani identity being Islamic and historical religious persecution of Fulani in North America. Most of us are now Christian or Catholic or Athiest due to racism. The original Louisiana was so large it included Canada. We have been struggling to have our land back and our right to be recognized as native peoples. Americans say since we also have African blood we should be denied rights given all other indians or aboriginals or indigenous tribes. Our Indian ancestry is reffered to as the Mound Builders or French Indians or Louisiana Creolé or Mississippians or Mississippi Indians or Seminole. The other two main branches of American Fulani are the Gullah-Geechee who are from the Carolinas they have many African tribes in their blood including Fulani. Then the Puerto Ricana have also been found to have a large portion of Fulani ancestry although the history was erased. Then there are the immigrants called Garifuna who are Arawak Indian same as Puerto Ricans and Carrib Indian mixed with African. So there are 3 indigenous Fulani population's of America, 1 indigenous Canadian population and 1 indigenous immigrant population. Check out Shaykh Muhammad Shareef and Sankore Institutes work to preserve this history. Also check out FrenchCreoles.com

    Dear Sir could you please help me ? I had a very good friend of mine who tragically died a while ago from Guinea I think Conakry but I`m not sure. I remember a couple of words he used to say. Could you please help me to identify what language is this ? Some of it isn`t nice but I want you to know I don`t direct it at you, so you know.
    1st when he was very content he would exclaim - `Uoss !` `Wa Bazaan! 2nd kind of an insult `Nga Sindi`. Thanks in advance.

    I'm Hausa-fulani by intermarriage between two tribes #HAUSAWA and FULANI# from Nigeria 🇳🇬 I don't understand fulfulde at all.
    I can speak only HAUSA language not my mother tongue. fulfulde is really so difficult to learn and understand. and then, HAUSA is very simple jejune

      Do you understand Fulfulde, aren't you? (A ndo nana fulfulde man nah ?
      This question you asked in Fulfulde, asking the meaning of that sentence (in fulfulde), seems like a rhetorical one, meaning the person just knew you understood Fulfulde. Something like that.
      Cé banni kadi, meaning See You😊
