He was a classic!
Missing this charming genius!! Grateful that we have his work of excellence. He will continue to get generations of fans.
♥️Thank you Bob!!♥️
A true comedic genius who was so unique. Thanks for the laughs, Mr. Newhart.
You are one of the best! RIP
Legend!
King of the Deadpan...👑👑👑
For anyone who noticed, the comedian whose name was not said; that was Buddy Hackett who introduced Bob to his wife.
Knew that was Hackett but was more wondering WHY just his name got dubbed out
Thanks for the info. They’re back together again ❤ RIP Mr. Newhart, you were loved. Condolences to your family and friends.
Why did Buddy Hackett get his name dubbed out?
@@ernestomarquez6655that was so odd … no idea
Miss him...always like a favorite uncle you didn't see often, but each visit was special.
This one hurts 😭
In the 1970s I watched “Bob Newhart “ with my parents. As I got older and watched reruns and laughed at the jokes I was too young to get. Then watched “Newhart” in the 1980s. Both were great series. It’s sad to see so many stars I grew up with leaving us. It reminds me of my own mortality.
I think the first few seasons they were going for a Mayberry feel with the quirky townfolk.😂❤
I agree. So many recently. I sure will be sad when my favorite soap star dies. I was sad when David Cassidy passed.
I loved the Daryls.
@@yvonnecooper5004 Agreed. They were always funny in the best, weird way.
@GeographRick I went to High school with someone who was alot like kirk. Always told tall tales but a good guy deep down. My husband thought it was a great idea when the Daryl's took over the cafe.
He was a comedy icon and will be missed
A real treasure. We will miss you. ❤❤
Hi Bob !!!!! Loved this man like no other . The stammer , the deadpan was pure comedic genius . I watch the bob newhart show and newhart every night . I feel like I’ve lost a grandfather that could just make you laugh and smile with that look in their eye . You are terribly missed
Terrific interview. Thank you Bob-you were the best and you will be missed!
@marytheresejacksonlutz2533 I hope the show more of these. Esp with that interviewer.
Bob Newhart was a comedic genius with his deadpan humor, timing, and unique persona.
Really enjoyed everything that he was involved in.
Rest in peace, Bob Newhart. Thank you for all the years of smiles & laughter. Your amazing gift of humor is a lasting and cherished legacy for the world.
🙏💜🕊
Classic Comedianne. Any collector of Comedy Records has to have these. And the TV shows are among the best ever. Such a unique & great style.
Always my favourite! The humour of this man was the best, and you just felt like you'd love to know him...
Bob Newhart's sense of humor, timing and delivery made him an icon. I watched both television programs with him and made it a point not to miss it -- that was before the ability to record programs for future viewing. Rest in peace, Bob and thanks for the laughs!
My favorite, still watching reruns
Rest in peace one of the Kings of Comedy gone but not forgotten. So long Bob Newhart
For me, he absolutely was the BEST! The combination of his delivery and facial expressions was magic!
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED this man.
He was perfection...especially on the Bob Newhart Show...along with every character & actor around him.
Those Saturday nights, preceded by MTM Show, made life worthwhile...
But the Newhart finale was the ultimate idea/coup of ALL time... Period. For which, we have his lovely wife Ginny to thank.
Took me a sec to remember Buddy Hackett. I had a record of Buddy Hackett doing the Chinese Waiter..on a 45 RPM. I played it so much that eventually I could do it myself, word for word. So I started doing it at parties. Got lots of laughs and free beers. Yaaay!
His show had the best ending ever with Susan's Plechett from his previous sitcom showing up in his new sitcom. NEVER saw it coming! BRILLIANT! 😂
Losing Bob Newhart is a big, big loss. Gosh how I laughed at his comedy. His conversations with Johnny Carson would make you laugh so hard. And now, we have lost him. I doubt if we will see anyone like him again.
Good night, Bob! Miss you already!
❤😢
A. Legend 😊😂❤. RIP.
Bob Newhart was a good comedian/actor 'n may God rest his Soul 💙☮️🌅✝️
rip your with rickles now
Why did Buddy Hackett get his name dubbed out? What's going on?? CBS??
No, no, NO...Not BOB??!! Man..did this guy bring more HILLARITY into our otherwise very UNFUNNY lives, when I was growing up, with his Saturday night (I think it was) show, in the 70s! He is the UNDISPUTED King of Deadpan-Comedy, with the POSSIBLE exception of Jack Benny. If they don't dim the lights on Las Vegas Blvd in memory of this jewel of a Comedian..I don't know WHO they'll ever dim them for, again!
He will be missed 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A legend! I enjoyed George and Leo.
One of my favorite comics. Will miss his humor and his hreat.
Why was Buddy Hackett's name omitted 5:46?
I will remember him as the voice of Bernard from Disney's The Rescuers movies and as himself in a Simpsons episode.
REST IN PEACE, BOB NEWHART
❤ ❤
From the archives: Bob Newhart 0909am 20.7.24 the driving instructor was played to me ad nauseam and i saw catch 22. about as far as it went.... be probably enjoyed a round of golf or ten!!!!! think i saw him in big bang theory.....
Why was Buddy Hackett’s name censored?
Why was Buddy Hackett's name cut out of this??
And he was successful without the "four letter" words.
No more Japanese food for dinner...
