Just LOVE these guys! Love this song! Could listen to them all day long (which I often do while I work from home). What a great songwriter Don was. Love the beautiful harmonies! Just no one else like them.

Don was the best lead singer. Phil was the one who gave them their flavor. Harold was so funny and was a great bass. Jimmy was a great tenor and had some pretty big shoes to fill. As Lew was unique. I miss them so much but thankful to see them on You Tube. Thanks for posting their great songs.

I Miss Them Too, Sandy. You Know That Lew DeWitt Died Back In 1990. Of Course, I Read What I'm About To Share With You, In A Book That Was Written About Them. Lew DeWitt Sang Tenor All Those Years With, "The Statler Brother's", And He Had Chron's Disease. However, Fortunately, I Got To Go See Them In Person, The Same Year That Lew Retired. "GOD" Saw Fit To Allow Me The Privilege And Opportunity To See The 4 Original "Statler's", Before Lew Retired. That Was In 1982, I Believe.

Are you telling Jimmie Fortune that he was not good enough? Be honest to yourself at least.

Definitely these guys were among the greatest groups of all times . There harmony together was perfect. I remember when they were backup with Johnny Cash many years ago . Times go on and the only thing constant is change. But I will always love and enjoy listening to there music.

I got to see them in 86 & 87.....was awesome. Harold was so funny.....flashing his guitar, blinding the audience with the reflection of the stage lights.

You're lucky! I'm an Indian fan and have no chance. Also born after 2000 it's a mere luck i came across them, and fell in love

I have always been a Big Fan of Them, and I would have loved to go see them live, but sadly I never got to. I think I may have got to talk to Harold once on the phone. Their is a radio station near here in Mt. Airy North Carolina. One Saturday Night, I called in and requested a song. The Guy sounded just like Harold. I even asked Him, if He was Harold, because I said You sound like The Bass Singer with The Statler Brothers. He just kidded with Me, and said or The Oak Ridge Boys, and never said anything else. I really believe He was filling in for The Saturday Night D.J.
