I started doing the Carnivore diet with mounjaro. Huge difference! I think anything low carb works well with Tirzepatide. Oh and Lifting heavy weight also works really great with it
Yes! Hubby and I are both on Zepbound and doing the carnivore diet. Works wonderfully! Ive been on GLP1s (started on Mounjaro in July, 2023 and switched to Zepbound in December 2023). Lost 75 pounds with the combination of diet and Zepbound!

You caused me to take a pause and not jump to 12.5mg of the compounded tirzepatide, because since May, I have gained and lost the same 7 lbs. since I started. I was on semaglutide and it wasn't working and I left the online provider and joined a new company that immediately put me on a 3-month high dose tirzepatide plan. I am on week two with 50 units of 10 mg. I will stay on this level for another two weeks and on week 5, titrate up to 12.5 mg. stay on that for 4 weeks, then titrate up to 15 mg. on. I'll listen to my new provider. At the end of my 3-month plan win, lose, or draw, I'm a veteran and VA finally has Wegovy for me at a co-pay. It beats paying the money I'm paying now by a longshot. Thank you. One thing I don't need is a migraine. Take care.

I restarted the meds but now im on the compounded tirzepatide. I went an extra week on every level bc I noticed it rearranges your fat content on your body. I knew it'd slow down my weight loss but I'd be damned if I was going to continue being a "big back" another day. It rearranges especially the dreaded "Buffalo hump".
I’m experimenting with way different injection sites, different times of injecting. Cutting out highly processed foods. 2.8 pounds down last week. I feel our bodies get complacent

In my opinion if you are gonna do keto..you should take a break from MJ for 6 weeks and clear receptors...then start back at 2.5 and titrate up slowly... it does work and worked for me after being on 15... I'm now at 7.5 and working good as before . "The Great Reset" 😆

Take heart my prayer is you can reverse your diabetes entirely if you are Type 2. I reversed my type 2 diabetes on Zepbound now my blood sugars are beautiful. I have 60 pounds to lose. I’m down 40 pounds in four months so I’m a super responder. I’m very blessed it’s not that way for everyone but don’t give up the fight. 🎉
I’ve been on 10 zep for 3 months and went from losing 2 pounds a week to the scale barely moving 🙄. Granted I’m 52 pounds down but I’ve heard once you’ve lost a good amount of weight that it slows down. I’m going on 12.5 compound to see if I get movement going again. I also got promoted at work from janitor to office so I’m not getting the physical activity I did before.
Congrats on getting the scale shifting. I simply can’t lose unless very low carb; will stall out quickly as I did first on keto, on carnivore, then on semaglutide, but slowly coming down on tirz compound. I’m older and have a long history of using fasting to control my weight. I lose a pound a week by strict macros, but that’s with very disciplined low carb diet and daily exercise. Some get the fast weight loss and some don’t, but things like CGMs really help.
I get it! I am so carb sensitive and know when I eat any, may stall me. DM2 as well. Also changed from stomach to arm and it removed my stall temporarily… eating mostly carnivore…
It would be interesting to learn more about the keto scan App and how you use during day. Following meals to know how long after meals to be burning bodyfat again. Years ago, I had the original breath acetone meter called ketonix but it stopped working after a year. I do low carb and fasting for fat loss but cycle in carbs to feel best. You are doing great Dave🎉

I’m on Fast 800 and virtually eating keto. Blood sugars fell to normal the day after I started Mountjaro

Can you give Roe website? Are you a type 2 diabetic? Yes if you don’t get your blood sugar down you won’t lose weight. Carnivore or Keto is best.

Your Dr can write an Rx to Lilly direct for 2.5mg or 5mg vials. Those are what is currently available for vials.

As another T2D my body is the same way Dave. My body only loses on Ketogenic diet. You aren't alone. MJ + Keto have been my tools for this journey.
Does this monitor do the same as Ketostix, the test strips used with urine? Super analog, but very cheap.

Does law enforcement use same machine? Heard if you get pulled over & blow while in full ketosis, they will think you are intoxicated.
Similar, I know alcohol can throw off the readings of these things
