looking at the video, i think the reason Mitch ate the tetras was because at his current size the tetra are big enough for him to snack on. As he gets larger those same tetras will no longer be worth his effort and will leave them alone.

My Boy PUG (fahaka) still has his 5 white cloud minnows and only 2 cardinals left, never seen him eat one but I think what happened is the Cardinals get sucked up in the intake of the filter so I’m putting a sponge over it just in case that’s what happened but most likely he ate them 😂
