Oh my gosh my heart just broke in a zillion pieces when I saw the second picture. Such a beautiful home ruined by fire I really hope it can be restored back to its former glory. Thank you for the tour. ❤😊🌟x
What a beautiful spacious home this was how devastating for the owners.Hopefully they will rebuild as you said Paul the bones are still in good condition.Adored the pictures of the home before the fire catch you next Sunday Paul take care.
That was a beautiful home. So sad to see it in this condition. Builders do not build structures like this anymore. The materials are too expensive. Builders want to cut corners to save money. Quality is lost. Unless you built your own home and are supervising the workmanship and materials being used.
Urbex Indigo thanks my friend for sharing this wonderful explore about Beautiful heritage home devastated by fire/Before and after/Built 1906 it was a very beautiful home before the fire it is a real shame i am from the U.S.A and i will always show your channel support my friend and i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out on my communty tab my friend and God Bless and thanks again for sharing it.
Oh this home was extra stunning. That sunroom 🥺 such a shame developers get their hands on these.. not even heritage listed saves them as there is somehow always “fires” in these homes.. heartbreaking 💔
Perhaps the most beautiful houses I've seen on your channel, a dream house, with so much light, gorgeous fireplaces and stained glass windows! How devastating that a fire destroyed so much of it... Thank you a million times for documenting it and sharing photos of its original beauty.
I remember seeing this awhile back and i really liked hearing the story about it before and after especially with the fire that happened there it was an incredible looking house and I'm glad to see it again before they demolish it, another great video have a great week and Thanks. 🏘🇦🇺🏘
So very sad to see this beautiful home destroyed by fire. I love the iron fenses, stain glass an blue stones. Thanks Paul for your bravery an documenting history. ❤
What a terrible shame to see a once very beautiful old home totally destroyed by fire. Thank you for including the real estate photos. Even after the fire, the stained glass windows and the features on the sides of the fireplaces show the beauty of the home while the beautiful pressed tin ceilings, or what's left of them show the age of the house. I love the blue stone and the vines around the porch give a sense of privacy. I wonder if the fire was caused by an electrical fault?
Beautiful old home it's such a shame it became a victim of fire i 🎉know what its like to get burnt out of yr home it's devastating well done for the explore
What a curious layout of rooms. It must have been filled with light and fun with all those windows letting in natural light. That back area that may have been office space, as you suggest; but what a great art and crafting space that would be with all that light and outside views! The house reminds me of the floorplans I like to draw when I was about 10 trying to see how much inside could be opened up to the outside that was hidden from the front face of the house. Thank you for this wonderful explore.
Was a beaut that was! I hope those fireplace mantles and their inserts are salvaged. That and I wished you would've flipped through "Last Night's Party" I'd liked to have known if it was a picture book, 👍😉. Thanks for the tour Paul! Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
What a tragic shame, such a beautiful expansive house. The Wisteria and Grape Vines adorning the verandas look as old as the house itself and the rest of the plants and garden suit the house superbly. I hope the house shell can be saved and the house rebuilt to its former glory. Thank you for sharing.
What a lovely place this was before it was destroyed. It’s amazing to see details still in quite good condition like the tiling in some areas of the house
This was a beauty mate and so many unique features left and now just ash. That painting was so cool maybe someone who lived in the home, and the arch way and stained glass fantastic. Hey mate the before and after shots made the old home stand out. The Bryson family must be devastated they lost there once loved home. A really awesome explore mate cheers.
Very sad to see a beautiful heritage home destroyed by fire (How Did That Happen) When demolished will be interesting to see what replaces that magnificant home ?
Nossa que casa belíssima, que triste ver como ficou depois do incêndio 😢😢, espero que os moradores não tenham se machucados 😢 .Tomara que reformem a casa .🇧🇷🇧🇷
Aw man, what a shame. Even burned up you can see this was a beautiful home. I understand the need for demo after the fire, but I hope they save the stained glass and the fire places at least. Thank you for another interesting video!!
This is heartbreaking to see her burnt from a fire.I truly think the home could be restored back to her former self.I know here in the states we have salvaged store that has alot of our old homes trim and doors and windows.I hope they consider fixing her back up.Since she is protected by the heritage foundation.Thank you Paul for taking me along on your house videos 💖
So beautiful before. The cynic in me has to ask which came first, the desire to redevelop the lot or the fire? It certainly does look to me like it could be restored but I’m not a structural engineer so I have no real knowledge of the effect of the fire on the walls. It’s a real shame that this happened to this house as it doesn’t look like there is much land with it to interest a developer. Was it being lived in when it burned?
Hi paul, thanks for your great episode again. Such a shame that they can't do anything for to get it back to what it use to be. That area is a fantastic part of adelaide. I would not like to see box type units in place. Love the big windows. Cheers deb
What an absolutely stunning home this was. As I'm feeling for its past owners, how devastated would they be to create such a home then to be taken away in this way😢 Cheers for the look through though 👍
That house was beautiful beforehand. It looks like they started to make an effort to clean up but that is a HUGE job. A 1.3 million dollars house, I hope to god they had insurance.
So I fell down a rabbit hole. Fire was caused by a candle being left alight next to a bed on Valentine's day 2022. The estimated damage cost was said to be at 500k (the house was purchased for 1.3m). Anthony Donato (architect) has applied on behalf of the owners for the house to be demolished because it is too far gone and would need a complete rebuild from extensive damage from an engineers perspective. The suburb councillor is rallying against the heritage listed house being allowed to be demolished.
@@JohnShinn1960 Thanks for the info I like this kind of music my mom had a lot of those 78 rpm records and my Aunt did too. Thanks again.😃👍🏼 you can find them in antique stores check them out.
I looked up the news story. Apparently the cause was a candle left burning in a bedroom. The couple and their dog had to flee in the night. Digging up more, they had owned it for no more than a couple of years.
I too, find it suspiciously convenient that this beautiful "Heritage Home" suffered this devastating fire that was holding the developer back. Filthy greed is just one of today's tragedies. The love of the almighty $$$ is just tragic. Too not treasure such a gem like this makes me sick!!
With the amount of other similar homes that get demolished and lots of stuff gets salvaged, makes you think that this could be saved…….. unless the owner had other intentions 🤔
How heartbreaking to lose such a magnificent home in a fire 😢
Oh my gosh my heart just broke in a zillion pieces when I saw the second picture. Such a beautiful home ruined by fire I really hope it can be restored back to its former glory. Thank you for the tour. ❤😊🌟x
I hope someone saves this beautiful home!
Owned by a developer trying to get around the Heritage Listing by having a "fire"?? Seems suspicious
You said it! Just exactly what my thoughts were!
It's a shame that a fire ruined such a pretty house.
Oh. It was a beautiful home before the fire. I hope it wasn’t deliberate. Thanks for showing us this once lovely home. X
Sermical villa sounds interesting . Great video for Alfred's home.
Not the right spelling at all. I shall say great video . Alfresco must have been very pleased with the symmetrical style.
Who is alfesco? I meant Alfred.

Good find. Hi from NC, USA. I would have been there and saved the lead lights , but I'm just a little too far away.

Wow! I would be happy just to live on the veranda! Terrible loss…

Good morning ... looks like another ripper. It's a wonder you have time to work given all the time and effort you put into your videos, Paul.

hey there paul what a once beautiful home and now destroyed by a fire so very sad to see nice video paul hope your going well mate cheers paul.
What a horrible loss, such a stunning home. Did the fire occur while people lived in it?
What a terrible loss! An amazing old home. Could any of the fireplaces be salvaged?
Those cast iron inserts and the mantles, I'm sure of it and hope they're salvaged.
Lovely place with the pool & plenty of shady nooks to sit. Could be good again with skilled repairs.

What a shame.
Some of these developers are ruthless and I wouldn't put it past them to arrange for a little 'accident'. Greed does not become them. 😡
That house was beautiful beforehand. It looks like they started to make an effort to clean up but that is a HUGE job. A 1.3 million dollars house, I hope to god they had insurance.
such a shame it was a beautiful home looks like the fire started in one of the bedrooms another piece of history gone
Don't be surprised someone burnt it to build flats. Looks like it could be salvaged. New roof, wall plastering, extensive clean.

Does anyone know
who the musician is
that sings the intro

"Finding The Long Way Home" Jack Denny and his orchestra 1929.
Paul has slowed it down for his intros.
It can be found on UA-cam.

Such a shame!

That supposed fire didn't light itself , that's foreshore ( in my opinion )
such a waste .. i like that pedestal, was it marble?
If it's heritage and it caught on fire, the owner is responsible. If you can't look after a heritage house you shouldn't be allowed to own one.
Sounds like arson.
She knew her days were numbered so she decided to pull a Joan of Arc. Go up in a "Blaze"!
Devastating nothing is built to such beautifully detailed parts of a home. Its all bland and boring.
