£3 million to relay the pitch, somebody is feeding you absolute bollox mate, the total cost of last summers new pitch was circa £350k 🤣
Mate I’ve misheard but I’m certain that’s what these told these American folk mate
Common sense will tell u that information is bollox..come on John 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ibrahimbah8616 about the pitch you mean? Well I haven’t laid many pitches lately 😂😂
3 million. Of course not
@@jurgenvoogt1638 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Those builders are definitely all going about telling stories to see what they can get spread about and laughing about it when they hear or see people reporting what they said.
£3m for a new pitch 😂😂 another guy told Mr Drone it was 800k which also sounds steep but bit more realistic than 3m.
The roof panels were apparent sagging which was causing gaps which in return was were the leaks were coming from which makes more sense than just wrong bolts, probably used cheap thinner cladding than they should of and with the weight they started to sagging.
I think over time there will definitely be more fixes needed done because that originally contractor clearly cut corners and used like in the roof case cheaper and not to standards required materials, probably because the financial mess they were in.
@@scott3232 maybe mate, but the roof panels being fitted wrong could mean a whole host of things, and for some reason there are bricks missing out of one of the walls I’ll get some shots of them tomorrow when I’m down there, and I feel very foolish about the pitch costs 🤦🏻♂️
@thestadium00 it's been a complete shambles from start to finish this build mate. Definitely fault should mostly fall on the contractors but surely on something costing the club upwards of 80m and obvious complications if things aren't done correctly especially structural, the club should of also had their own people monitor things too.
All these snagging things will add to the final cost too because it's all the work carried out from previous contractor, they can't claim any costs back from them and will need to pay now for new roof cladding and it to be fitted, which I doubt given what's needed on that, it's going to be cheap.
After it being pushed put by the club as in hints that the Sir Kenny and Kop not going to be expanded now and more just internal improvements, we should of just built a brand new stadium IMO. 70k minium for a club our size and following I'd say 80k would be filled either every game or very close to it, but now looking at being stuck at around 62k capacity, which is nowhere near enough still. Not to mention the stadium looks so disjointed and ridiculous with the two massive new stands and two smaller old ones.
FSG definitely took the cheapest option to increase our clubs value than being the best for the clubs future IMO.
@@scott3232looks at Everton. A mess of a club but they built the stadium the right way. I agree; Anfield looks disjointed now.
Bricks coming out the walls😮...the last contractors have literally put Annie Road on bricks...no wonder they went bust😢... bunch of heavy kids them lot im telling ya😂 heads full of broken waffles😂
@@michaelritch4441 I wouldn’t have believed it , but since the roof story seems to be true you just don’t know mate do ya
This whole expansion job has been a joke
@@deanboucher2067 hasn’t been the best experience has it mate
@@thestadium00 The view from the away end is much better. You can see the Kop now. The concourse is a mess. Anfield is one of the bigger grounds now but I can't see it hosting finals. It never has? It has fallen behind Tottenham, Manchester City, the Emirates, or Wembley now.
@@mazinnasralla2036 yeah mate, don’t think it has hosted a final to my knowledge like
The pitch refit is circa £330,000
@@KopKing88 yeah, at the time I was completely unsure if a cost like that but now I feel like a t**t 😂
They pink seats making this look horrible, I know red is the worst for sun bleaching but , just looks scruffy af tbh
it cost £100.000 same as last year
@@peterjohnbunn1 hi Peter, like I say wasn’t sure how much it actually costs to relay a pitch at the time but now looking back 🤦🏻♂️
Start of the new season? 🤣
@@jurgenvoogt1638 they just didn’t say which season
@@thestadium00 🤣
What a joke mate, they'll tell us anything 😂
@@GavinBarnes-q9y I don’t know how true it all is, but there is another channel reporting a similar start about the roof
@@thestadium00 in general I mean, Rayner Rowen are milking it, they've got offices outside again so you know it's going to be most of the season again.
@@GavinBarnes-q9y possibly mate , might have a good point there
@@thestadium00 I think so otherwise they would have left a couple of the original cabins
its not going to stop the games being played. and to be fair the previous contractor didnt complete the job
@@jimsmith-d3l yeah mate absolutely not going to stop games etc
