I did not expect that epic escape
Thats what I thought too 😜😜
I thought he was going to shank the prosecution guy lol
@@MattExzy No Violent... as he said
Yap what a plot twist.
Yeah 😂
Volume of music : 100%
Volume of narration : 10%
I think the music should be a bit louder. 🤔
I love how he never snitched on his guys
And paid back the guy for the roughed up car.
A criminal with a heart
@@ironwoodnf9128 b
And that's what is called honor among thieves
Loyalty has prevailed, he never gave names.
I wonder if they made a movie on this heist...anyone knows?
he never said his colleague names....he pays the damage as he fell on some one car.
Such a interesting good heart lived in his own world
I got to admit that dude is something else he cooperated to save his wife but he didn't tell on his accomplices that's a OG move right there
French authorities just gave up. They could have charged her if they wanted to.
@@tommystpatrickghost4264 Yeah, but why? It’s unlikely she was aware of the things stored at their home and would almost certainly have been acquitted anyway - further embarrassing the gendarmes. Either way, it was probably the right strategy to make the bluff during questioning. It’s an interesting case.

always a happy ending when they manage to escape
all them cigars he been smoking while digging caught up with him at the end
You don't inhale cigar smoke.
spacecadet35 inhale or not, you’re still getting carcinogens into your body
@Nica Then you must have a crappy ventilation system.
I love how angry customers always yell at the wrong people, the employees who are trying to help them

@@redrustyhill2 LOL
I’ll admit, that ending was EPIC and I had to chuckle a bit.
That was a GREAT story!!! The BEST crime story ever! Make the movie!....or is there one already???
Yes. The Great Riviera Bank Robbery.
It's on here under the title, Sewers of Gold.
That is a funny escape, but very effective. 😂
It was genius
Brilliant on his part, though the most dangerous thing he did in his life was smoking...
lol
That escape though 😂😂
They must’ve felt like gods getting in that vault. What an incredible heist.
There is no God but Allah
This is the most underrated channel on UA-cam
The jump from the window was more epic than the heist itself 😅😂👍🪂
Nice touch to send money to the owner of the car he landed on during his escape to repair the dented roof.
Keeping the music to lower level would be nice
Here in South Africa we had a bank heist in 1977.To this day it's still open and no arrest were made. They don't even know who it was. It's also just called the Tunnel Heist.
South Africa is useless
I didn’t expect him to escape lol
I get the feeling that there is some sort of contest between the narrator and the background noise.
That crime sure paid to commit for him. What a truly loyal friend he was to those who helped. As some have already mentioned, he did not snitch on those who helped him. Should have given up the cigars. Worked for George Burns but not for him.
To all robbers, I do not condone crime, but if you are planning to rob, plan your escape FIRST, gloves, no tools left
behind, no eating, no spending for a while, no congregation with fellow robbers, no bragging,
well Spacciari, there is honor among thieves after all, you never gave up your accomplices
they know, it is understood 😑
@@ronr.53400 they got away with 10 million dollars and this keyboard expert thinks he knows better about robbing banks 🤣
I had this same plan as a kid. To approach a vault from the sewers . I told everyone if I wasnt well off by 26 I would rob the bank. Never did it lol
@fbi yeah this comment right here....🤣
Or u did ! And if u ever did remember rule 101 : dont ever tell to your wife or girlfriend,
And otherwise all is well and good 👍
It’s never late bro ;)
@@adnaneeddie thank you man! Don't give up on your dreams right!
Na I'm finally out of the system, I did 2 small bids and that was enough for Me. A cell mate of mine was in for a really smart bank heist , unfortunately his partner rolled on him to avoid deportation.
lets do it
The French law appeared to be -- too easy and loose -- no security, no chains...!
I only just remember the announcement of this caper as I was in New Zealand. It is great to now learn of the detales.
details ...
i Know this series " Daring Capers" meant to be serious but the way they are portrayed in these films makes them quite humorous lol
it lightens the seriousness of the crimes ... glad you enjoy 😌
He cared about the guys who were digging the tunnel and never hurt the public by shooting up the bank
Legend always 3 steps ahead of everyone.
Wow. figured just like most robberies he will be caught! Tthey should make a movie! out of this one! I
*+Anoop B*
They have. In 1979, 'The Great Riviera Bank Robbery'. How good it is, I cannot say however it gets a 6.3 on the IMDB, and stars Ian McShane in the English version.
yeah , a movie would be good, lets say Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp leading role
@@SueMead there it izzz 😌
What a legend.
thinking to become bank robber like him ..... i am tired of working
Hit me up if you wanna do it broski

Beautiful documentary
I wish that sound/music during narration didn't exist
Great story!
That Guy must to be the next Joker.
I love how they enjoyed their dinner with gold plates and cups...
Spacciari was a real genius.
Albert has my respect.. didnt rat no one out,,, put blame on himself,, only gave cops surface level info,, and then dipped out.
One the greatest stories I have ever heard
He live his life to the fullest with all the money he got
Well thank God no one was hurt was a lot of work really brilliant plan 👍 unbelievable
Who would have known a photographer would have turned out to be a real man
Absolutely love this comment
turn up the music, I didnt need to hear the narrator anyway
lt is a....Wonder indeed....Thanks...!
Although I would never rob or break into a bank, I enjoy watching these bank robbery documentaries and get excited when the robbers score millions. I've dreamt about someday walking along the sidewalk and finding bags full of cash near the roadside.
I love reenactments!
❤ incredible opportunity for this guy
FINALLY! the bad guy live happy ever after "free" till old age. NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, SNITCHED ON HIS PEOPLE!
Wow very nice story.. beautiful money...
Wow what a legend
I love this Chanel it’s like a movie
Anyone watching this will be a millionaire but won't need to be a thief for that.
Love this guy
Perfect crime 👍👍
What a brilliant moved!!!!!
the window escape i presume?
Guy sounds like a hero.
Smart bank Robbers... Good story..
My New Hero 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My grandfathers brother (great uncle I called him) was the guy who drilled that vault open and was the first to tell them they’ve been robbed.
Proof?
thanks, i am the first person to watch this documentary
nice, go put that on your resume
Nah I saw it first
Degenerate
Selwyn Nicol ladies and gentlemen.
Good job.
The ultimate gentleman criminal. Legend!
Brilliant 🤞
This guy was agenius 👌✌️🙌🙌🙌🙌
This dude be my inspiration
If only they put so much effort and time in investigating human murder
The Great Train Robbery in England (1963) really was amateurish compared to this heist.
I honestly cannot think of a single robbery either real or fictional that compares to this. I am honestly surprised it was not made into a movie.
Never snitched = Good Man
what a G mate , holy !
AMAZING, an amazing story (without arms, without violence, without hatred ) 😚 damn thats heavy .. i assume it weighed on the minds of many//any OR "without weapons without hate without violence " he would have done better without the taunting and such, 1989 dead
I like the thiefs they used their heads
Wow I am proud to be a resident in Nice #iloveNice
Wow what a story
WoW!!
The real crime here is all the commercials!
This is dope hearing they ate their delicacies like kings on gold plates. hehehehee
if i remember correctly at the time, this robbery was referred to as the "Great Drain Robbery."
😂😂
Francs for the memories!!
Powdered Water 👍🤪
Keeping the music to lower level would improve the video quite a bit.
Verry idea, verry profitional
1, How to find the Marseille underground mob?
2, How to find the car owner he landed on?
I can't even find my car keys.
What a nice ending
I love it! LOL!
Legend
Chilling with big boys
This show gives me the good old FBI files vibes
Hey great movies
I hope Wonder is taking note of the many complaints of the background music being way too loud. Perhaps this documentary was made in the 80's where directors like Michael Bay destroyed movies with too much music?
Not in my device
I love when they stealing money job is not the answer to all of our finacial problems.
20:00 Call me a party-pooper but I wouldn't have much of an appetite for goose liver in the the vault after crawling up from the sewer.
After many grueling hours of digging I'd probably have an appetite.
if it were an american crime they'd have burgers and coke...at least the frenchies has some class...even during a heist
Goose liver is a to- die for specialty in france...😂😂😂
Damn, that dude has got an epic head of hair.
The title should be ''Royal thieves who eat in golden plates''
rest in peace and heaven good man 👌👌👌
Yo my friend , the video are awesome but turn the music down a little to 👂 you better.
The best bank roober of the century n funny too..😂🤣
Master
Safety Deposit robbery victimizes every individual holder rather than the bank itself. Further you’re not just stealing money, you’re stealing heirlooms, family jewelry, items of sentimental value. Things that by definition cannot be replaced. And no, not every holder is wealthy. Might just be a regular person with one piece of valuable jewelry passed down through generations.
undeniable casualties, ... it means nothing to the perpetrators 😔
dude... you are preaching to a thief. Sentiment is not part of their code. If they had it they would not be thieves.
America: dude has guns and hunting equipment in the car
Police: *checks for permits*
Germany: dude has chisels in his car
Police: *writing down name for potential suspicious activity*
thats cuz its legal here... and only because the chisels were the same type as found at the scene
