- This is a contemplation of anime and game characters acting as pirates. This was inspired by the song "Shiver My Timbers" from Muppet Treasure Island. You might say that this is a tribute to both the anime fans who longed to see some of their favorite characters as pirates, as well as a tribute to the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean movie "At Worlds End." Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
Note: For those of you who are wondering, I don't own the song, nor any of the characters that participate in it, say for the fan characters thrown into the mix. I did not create this version of the song. It was extracted from one of the CDs I own. All credits and rights strictly go to the original creators and composers. - Розваги

That was one of the most violent scenes to grace a Muppet movie that I can recall.

The illustration at 0:56 is so beautifully drawn. Focusing on the half-buried skull while the dead men walk in the background afront the anchored ship in the further background is an interesting view.

And one that describes them accurately not the 'I want to be the King of Pirates style'. Sorry One Piece just does not work for me.

Dam I love this song, I'd buy Muppet treasure Island 100 times before Pirates of the Caribbean, not that I don't love Pirates its just that I can watch Muppet Treasure Island ever day of a week and not be sick of it, thus is the genius of Jim Henson. Wish it was on blue ray. I only own the VHS.

DUDE! I just noticed something!! When we first get close-ups of the Kingdom Hearts guys, Riku and Sora's eyes look like the eyes you use when you draw Sora or Cuchulain in rage form...EEK!!!
This was a mighty video with great (and better) use of the faux sea-song from Muppet Treasure Island. The anime boys seem to be really into the swing of things.

1: They are all characters from different anime and games. Naruto, DBZ, Full Metal Alchemist, & Kingdom Hearts are the ones I immediately recognized. The captain & first mate were Riku and Sora from KH respectively.
2: Because they were unarmed and caught off guard.

I'm not sure when it was I first subscribed to your channel, LordDrakoArakis, but I know I have enjoyed the art you've added to the music you've posted. I believe it was around 8 years ago, shortly before the "Finnegans wake" video was posted, and your videos have only gotten better since. cheers to ya.
This version is actually an extra from Pirates of the Caribbean iirc, in some ways better than the muppet version imo.

the idea that two run of the mill pirate captains could successfully kill sauske, naruto, edward elrich and whoever the last two were (roxas?) is actually quite laughable even if those flintlocks were actually blunderbuss they would get lit up and then there would be a new set of captains :P

The crewmen have shovels and pickaxes.
Since Riku and Sora won't have time to reload, and they don't seem to have any other pistols than those they already have, it's very likely there will be a "spades+shovels+pickaxes VS sabers" fight soon. Besides, at about 02:10-02:13, you can see 6 crewmen : minus the two guys who are shot, it's still 4 against 2.
Those two traitorous and machiavellian captains will get their asses kicked and their throats rightfully slitted. YAAAAARRH!
