Just ran across this group recently and every video I have seen them in I believe they are feeling what they are singing about. I don't believe it's just a show.
If you could have just seen them do it live..... superb musicians, anointed singing and lyrics. Humble people too. I ran into Carrol McGruder in Stockton and laughingly told him I did not have his cassette any longer because it got stuck in the player of the truck I sold. He looked at me thoughtfully and then said in his accent with deadpan delivery, "Did you have to take less for the truck cause it was in there?"
