Could someone please explain to me why in the lore eve-developers tell us that the alpha clones are cheap and expendable as toilet paper and in game the first mission tells me that it's a single outstanding and literally exclusive experience granted to me for insanely valuable input into ... ummm... into whatever we're playing in. That doesn't match! Since you tell us in these videos that there are a shitload of alpha clones coming, then you should have do that as well in the first mission!
It's a sandbox in space and you can do pretty much anything, so you can get whatever you want out of it. If you want large scale fleet battles, you can go join a nullsec alliance. If you prefer smaller scale PvP then maybe try signing up for faction warfare, or just go roaming for kills alone. If you're more into PvE then there's all sorts of exploration, mining, industry, research and hauling and other stuff to do. Or if you feel like being an trading baron then you can learn how EVE got its "Spreadsheets in space nickname" :D Whatever you decide, it's usually best to find other people to play with, just remember the number one rule in EVE: Trust no-one xD
It's up to you if you want to make it a boring farming game or a constant action game. EVE was designed to be a truly open world game. Heck, actions like scamming and piracy are even *encouraged*. You probably have heard of this story of a guy who single-handedly took down an entire alliance via months of infiltration? Search it up. EVE is full of stories like that one.
I really wonder how much more new players the alpha clone f2p model already has attracted and how many more to come. will we ever see 100k players online
the new clone state is a joke , the limitations are so severe that any new player wold get bored of the game within 2 3 hours of starting and not actually get a chance to do much of anything.
