@@Walkman0007 man i just fuckin love dutch. They can get a very solid bank eco even in age 2. And yeah you cant rush with them but you can defend really really well they have age 2 skirms and pikemen so you can easily defend against rush like countring hussars or janniseries and then you age up to 3 and maybe even 4 then there s no stopping you. Very nice civ indeed
hey why does he sometimes when switching vills to another source leave 1 on gold for example? is that some kind of trick? I used to play LAN games with a buddy and regularly won using Portugese, but then he started playing Dutch using the bank strategy and mostly ruyters, how can you counter this?
Upgraded ruyters??1k Gold 1k wood, for 10% hit point/attack. Better to get the Sufi mosk and have 6 fattened goats for instant food, pump out 1800 food worth of Ruyter.

Wilfried007 Rush him. Very easy to rush Dutch if they are doing bank semi ff
Play a civ stronger in a rush maybe? Ottomans or Iro are really good (Counter Ruyters with skirms)

It's 40%. 30% from Guard upgrade and 10% from Royal Guard upgrade. And let's not forget that Ruyters cost primarily coin, not food.
