Did you take off the metal clips that were on there with the stock deck lid?
Are you referring to the ones I pointed out at 6:30-6:35? If so, yes I had to transfer them over to the new decklid. It was a bitch to do lol

How did you transfer those brackets at 6:38?
I popped them out. Don’t remember exactly what I used to do so but pretty sure it was a flathead screwdriver. Just pry them off.

I just put it on my 19 5.0 and it won't fit right

@@majinbluu_956 2 of the clips has to be cut off and it won't line up
@@codyjensen1659 mine didn’t line up perfectly either. There’s a noticeable gap on the top side of the decklid. But it’s to be expected from aftermarket parts, they will never be as good as OEM. As for the clips you mentioned, I don’t remember having to cut any clips.
