Justin and his government are going down faster than the Titanic.
WestJet making space tighter just to add an additional row of seats is nonsensical. Terrible business practice to an already terrible travel experience as is. Their new CEO is the worst.
if you understood the operating costs and the taxes and landing fees you would think otherwise.
an airline doesn't start turning a profit untill the plane is 85 percent full and after that their is not much money made.
Ya sure, ad more seats but don't make flights affordable. It's insane!
lol, to think they are doing this for the passengers. It's all about their profits.
they are just following the American airlines - less legroom
There are massive fees that airlines pay. Fuel, landing fees, security fees, infrastructure. Yess airlines want to make money but they don’t like fleecing their customers
West jet is like the liberals. Not worth the cost
WestJet could also reduce some of it's "Cash Grab" fees such as seat selection, checked bag, etc.
i paid on air canada $1250 return just to fly to Mexico city this included the seat fee but on top of this price had to pay $40 for a checked bag and if you want to eat on the plane had to pay for food.
Some of the fees are going towards the federal budget? Wow. Another kick in the teeth. Our government sucks
CANADA HAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE LANDING FEES FOR AIRLINES.
THE FEDS NEED TO REDUCE THIS.
GOV INVOLVEMENT ALWAYS MEANS HIGHER PRICES FOR THE TRAVELER.
It's time to replace domestic flights with high speed rail. It's the logical thing to do.
Imagine taking high speed rail from Vancouver to Halifax. It would take days, and that would be 20 years from now once this dump of a country actually got it built. Get with reality …..
