Reminds me of a time I tried to go to a family party and this woman tries asking me for money while I was at the cash machine. Yelled after me, saying she was a "pretty thing" (I think), while looking old enough to be my aunt and had a cigarette behind her ear
Same here actually. When I was a little girl, I had a Teacup. poodle. She was a precious little black baby. And these two kids kept following me down the street. And they try to take my little girl away from me. But luckily my big sister was able to scare them away. These boys were Just trouble. Thank God my sister was there.

These stories scare me so I’m going to share a wholesome one: my family owns two dogs: a black and brown Yorkie and an English cream golden retriever. One day we came home to find three dogs in our backyard- one yorkie and two golden retrievers. Turns out someone else’s dog had taken off and one of our neighbors mistook it for our dog and put them in our backyard. Thankfully the dog had a tag with all the relevant information on it so a simple phone call was all it took to find the owner.

I was fine because I'm a lot bigger guy them him, but he was going to for example, an old lady and her presumably grandchildren, who where very young.

From what I can understand, she was trying to get drug money from random people. Either by saying "Your dog stole my drugs" or "Your child stole my drugs" It happens a lot where I live too.
Though some comments are translating it as "Dog FOR drugs" So maybe I'm wrong there. Still, if someone like that starts following you, start loudly telling them to leave. They won't, but if other people see you telling them to go, they'll be witnesses for when you call the police after.
