- “Now for something completely different”…. It’s February and the cabin fever is creeping in so we decided to get out of the snow and head down to warmer weather in Bishop, Ca . One of the many fun things to do down in Bishop is to stop in to Laws Train Museum ! This is a self guided outdoor museum that offers a glimpse into what life was like from around 1890’s through early 1940’s…. *Disclaimer * …this is a short and not very detailed video . I was on dad duty so it was a challenge to shoot video while wrangling a 2 year old and a 4 year old 😂 I hope to make a more in depth video of this wonderful history in the future

I live near gettysburg and i love going thru the museums its an amazing and sometimes sad experience but we need to experience where things started. Seemingly simpler times i wish we still were in them lol.

Ah, thank you. I am clearly reincarnated from the old west. Thinking of moving to Bishop in fact (in a tent probably, lol) so this was very nice to see.
We got married at Laws. Seeing it never gets old. Thanks for spotlighting the Print Shop - my parents worked on most of that equipment at Chalfant Press!
Is there a wedding chapel at laws or you two did an open air thing
@@missingremote4388 No we got married beneath a gazebo to the west of the old Catholic Church, so sort of an open air thing. The staff made it beautiful. Always hold them in my highest esteem. :)
Great video! We will be visiting there after seeing this. My Wife's family was instrumental in the RR in Superior, WI back in the 1900's(lumber, coal & and iron). How is the bar and pizza start up doing? Thanks for sharing!
