Could you list all the components that you used to make it battery powered. I did watch parts 1 and 2. What a great series. This gives me the motivation to take my 3 truck off the shelf and get it setup for battery/air-wire operations.
Hi Emory, You need a receiver, signal booster, decoder, speaker, battery, wires, solder, and soldering iron. Of course, tools would make it all a lot easier. :)
@@tsgmultimedia Hi... simply great job. I have a 4-4-0 Bachman and would like to do the same. At first I wanted to go through arduino but as I own the ESU Loksound XL v5 with Dual smoke unit for 2 years but never installed yet. As my understanding, Does the "AirWire Converter 6.0A with Internal Antenna C-60r" replace the booster and receiver you mentioned in Part 1 ? In that case, and considering your diagrams, is it correct to say that for using battery only, your have to put your siwtch position to left and to connect the receiver/controller to the 2 bottom pins and 2 upper pins (upper replace the booster... ). Many thanks for your precious support and definately wonderfull job. Sorry for my poor English... I'm French...

Overall, a great video but I'm going to take a spike off for the coupler height on the log car. Verdict: 9 out of 10 spikes. Just kidding, love your work!
That's a nice looking beast. I've always loved the Shay style locomotives.
Great video Dan and John, I enjoyed every single video of this channel
Great video like always
Daniel Cortopassi yep
It's deja vu all over again.
But I'd say those were some real improvements (subtle as they were).
Jon seems you had some audio feedback in the background.

Dan, do you have any HO scale SP SD40R or SD45R units and if so, have you thought of bringing one on Dan’s Models?
I’m actually working on one of my own SD40R numbered 7351. The only problem is photographs have been hard to come by.
Would really love to get into G scale, if I was Bill Gates that is. thanks guys great job
Taking a spike off the coupler height on the logging car.
Right? That was a great demonstration of why adhering to standards for coupler height is a good idea :))
7:53 trouble some trucks anyone?

Just kidding, love your work!
Now you have seen with your own eyes why coupler height matters :))
By the way, it was Paul's fault.
I hear some people in the background
A lot of echoing
