I remember a nutritionist in Hong Kong said not to eat too regularly in the dai pai dongs as too much MSG is used and why that would partly explain why Hong Kongers are hyper much of the time😊

That’s an interesting question. I have been told a lot of Westerners have left, altho the truth is I haven’t seen data on it. You need an internationally recognized teaching certification. So for example, for American teachers, like Mr. Bohemian, you would likely have completed a teaching certification program through a university. In my case, I went to a university in New Jersey, USA, and needed to complete a four year degree in Music Education, which culminated in a year of student teaching and completion of an exam called the EdTPA to receive my certification to teach music in New Jersey public schools. Every country certifies differently, so you can look into your local system, but basically you would need to the proper certifications to teach in a public school in whatever country you live in. Frankly it's a lot of work, and unlike the english teacher in a cram school path, this is more for people looking to make teaching their long term career.
Is it safe teaching in school? Any gun shooting or student bully in your school? Any violence like push people down the subway track, stores gang robbery? From the movies, Hong Kong is a place full of gangs, and kung fu fight on the streets all the time, is that true?
