I love some 80s muscle. These and the Monte Carlo SS are just beautiful rides.
I like the 442 it looks so good 😊 you’ll have a good 👍 day
I concur!
Love the 442..... And the '84 Hurst/Olds.
And the GN! and Regal T Type.
Came here to say this reminds me a lot of my parents 85 Monte Carlo, so many memories
This was my dream car back in the late 80’s! I love these cars ! There will never be anything like it again ❤❤❤
Mine too 😊
what do you think about the 1984 hurst olds's? HEX coin $0.02 PULSECHAIN $0.00009 PLSX $0.00003
The cutlass was the best looking grand nationals are sweet too but they were unobtainable for a high school kid back then , unless u came from money..the Monte ss and reg Monte were sweet too. Grand prix’s we’re nice looking as well basically all g-bodies…the iroc-z’s we’re awesome the trans ams , the formula firebirds too.gm had so many winners back then, they weren’t fast but they looked good
For those not "in the know" 442 is not an engine size. It means 4 barrel carb, 4 speed automatic, dual (2) exhaust.
Thank you. The late 60's 442 had a 4-soeed automatic
It has meant a couple of things over the years: 400, 4barrel,dual exhaust, 4 SPEED, 4barrel, dual exhaust.
One of the best '80s cars to buy. This one is in great condition.
Beautiful Cutlass, Nick. Reminds me of a Grand National. Smooth, fast, t-tops, and just super clean and classy. Worth every penny.
If you had one of these in the 80s when i was in HS you must have had rich parents. These or an SS MC or IROCs were the cars to have! Any other 50 something year olds remember those days?
Yep. Graduated in 86. My buddy had an IROC. I had a 78 Formula w/chevy 350.
@@SkywalkerPMs nice! In 86 I had a 76 LT camaro!
My uncle had one back in those times he took the 307 h.o. out and put a built 455 oldsmobile in it and the rest was history 💪🏾💪🏾
I love the 80s cars. It's cool that you take your family with you.
Always liked lightening rods coolest shifter of the 80's l grad highschool 1985 was there best decade ever
Sweet ride my brother had one it was a 1983 Hurst Oldsmobile ttop and it also had the lightning rod shifter 👍
That's one of the best 442 y'all had in awhile god where'd that one come in from with the ttops now that is amazing extremely gorgeous
Absolutely love this car (and all G-Bodies). The price is fair too!
I love the fact that the 442 was a trim package on the Cutlass that after some time became its own model. It's just sad they don't make them anymore. My grandmother had one and her only complaint about it was it was too fast😂😂😂😂
This is the Car I wanted when I got my license in 86 .I asked my parents and my dad had a great laugh lol 😂.I always loved Oldsmobile especially the Cutlass 442
Always liked Oldsmobiles. That 442 doesn’t disappoint. Pretty sweet.
I always loved and admire the Oldsmobile Cutlass and the ‘87 Monte Carlo. Beautiful car. It’s perfect in my eyes
This is one of the ones that coined the phrase" This Is Not Your Fathers Oldsmobiles"😊 Love it it will sell quick!
Love the mid 80's gms! Side note Nick....Awesome to see you being a very present Dad!
Best cars to come out of the 1980's. They were so fun to drive and had so much character. Nothing today even comes close to the cool factor these cars gave you
@@Braxton-kg8yk True but my comment centered more on cars made during the 80's. Today's Camaro is indeed a tire roaster but not really very practical for day to day use with its non existent back seat, tiny trunk and terrible visibility
I like the way he inspect the car 🚗 from corner to corner.... Every bit counts these days 😁
Beautiful! I will always regret not getting one of these in the 2000s when you could still get them for $1000 or less.
When you were talking about the mirror remote working, you said
"Itd be lot cooler if it did" sounded just like Matthew McCaughey in dazed and confused!! Lol is one sweet cutlass "442"!!
Real nice condition. Classy paint color.
Only thing I could do without are the t-tops.
I only had one car with t-tops. An 86 Firebird. Those t-tops were a little cumbersome to remove and store in the truck.
I had one almost exactly like this one! I would gave LOVED to have seen or driven it. ...
Me growing up. My grandma had so many cutlass deltas. Makes me wanna get it and take a ride knowing she would be there.
I fell in loved with it as I came to the car lot. It's a dream car of mine.
I love the GBODY’S are one of the best body styles that color is 🔥 very nice I have 1 86 442 in grey I have a few old schools right now but I love my cutty 👍
Flashback nick I used to have exact same 442 great classic smooth car and the horns works too great memories thank you nick good price its a steal 🤟
This has to be one of the most iconic cars of the 80's 😮
Miss my 84 Olds cutlass supreme brougham I use to have wish I had the💰💰💰 would get that in a heartbeat 👍 hello from Phoenix Arizona..
When I was growing ip this girl I had the biggest crush on mom's had one of these. This was back in the early 90's and of course it wasn't meant to be, but hey her mom had a cool car🤷♂️
My buddy Kenny had one in school. Jody ran a Nova SS. I traded the Mustang for a M.C. SS. Drew kept wrecking his Trans Ams. Miss you guys! And April Wine blaring out of the trusty 6x9's.
If I ever win the lottery these are the types of cars I'd buy. I would restore them as if the bean counters and government regs didn't neuter the potential. I have an 87 formula 350 so I got a good start at least!!!
I've been watching Mitch for years and with cars like this I'm always hoping for some tire squeal LoL
😂
Good looking 442 should sell quick! 👍🙂
Best horn you've ever demo'ed.. edit to add: please shop around for lenses if you get a chance. You lost a lot when you cracked the good. Hard to enjoy these new videos with the screwy perspectives. Great cars - - hope you're around when I'm ready for my next car. I would be happy with any of the ones that have caught my eye, minimum one to three every week. 👍
I got a 1987 442 T-Tops 57k miles for sale 2 owners original paint $$ 21k super clean car
I bought it from a friend, recovered theft, for $500, cleaned it up, paint, made it look new. Sold it for $11K back in 1991.
This and Monte Carlo were 80s legends.
That's Old SCHOOL..
That's GANGSTER with the T-tops!!!
I'm from Louisiana everybody who had that type of CAR worked at the Exxon plant or Shell chemical⚡⚡
Man if I was car shopping I'd be stuck on this one like a hair in a bisquit!
I love 70's and 80's "muscle cars" camaros, mustangs, 442, G.N's that ones got a tee top! Awesome!
That thing is super clean!! Always loved these and the Cutlass also. That color is rare too. Never seen a green one personally. Beautiful car.👌🏽🔥🔥
Green?
@@pelvicthrust119 Yes.When the sun hits it,it has a really dark green hue to it. I thought it was dark grey until the walk around he does at the end pointing out the flaws. Could just be my eyes or my phone tho, lol!! Green or grey it’s a beautiful car.
My favorite car is a 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7, but this is my second favorite. It’s gorgeous!
I agree my mom had a sapphire blue 68 cougar xr7 with the 302.. she used to pick me up all the kids were in awe .
nice ride,8.5" rear too
Damn that’s it $ 20,000 smh not gonna last long and it’s T-tops man wish I had it to spend 🤷🏾
Beautiful Car! Back in day this one was on dealer show room floor or parked out front😂
Those tachs are notorious for reading high. There are replacement circuit boards for the tach now.
Absolutely Love it I've had 2 of them so Good Looking 👊🏼
My dad had a 74 model 442 loved it!!!!!
Sweet, you guys get some great cars. When I visit my daughter in Savanah Georgia next month I hope to stop by
Greetings and Blessings Nick 🙏
That’s is COMPLETE car
❤BEAUTIFUL 442❤
Always loved the Olds 442! Just a class of their own. I do hear LS motor swap in the future if the 5.0l was to be replaced.
NO ls swap. IF YOU WANT to do engine swap, it should be another Olds engine, either big/small block Oldsv8.
@w41duvernay I knew a huge Olds fan and he had this body style 442 and he removed the tired 307 and replaced it with a heavy modified Olds Rocket 350 and it screamed!!!
I just sold my 1985. 442 that I’ve had since high school. Sold it to a friend who is rebuilding it for his son. Screwed up. I miss the car.
Damn that ride looks splendid!
Mid-80s muscle! Olds never disappointed in performance
Few and far in-between. For the 80's. Trans and we're still around, z28, ford's yuck, mustangs overheated. Chrysler and Dodge had what, the conquest and they had a small 4- banger that had a turbo and weird twin shifter. I am not forgetting the obvious cars. GN and t-type
Sweet ride. 86 442. Love it!!!
What a beautiful car. V8, auto, T tops, I'm hooked!!! Reel my ass in, lol.
Stick in the floor, crazy paint, clean interior, nice growl. Born to roll by Master ace inc. is all I'd bang.
I have and 86 442 t tops with the 455 rocket i put in there
@@d-money314 mannnn, that's mean. I know she hauls ass with that Olds big block heart.
@@jaysun813 hell yea it has a cam and double roller timing chain and headers 650 carb and shift kit and posi rear end and it also has cold ac
@@d-money314 nice work, that's a sweet lady right there.
My father had this. Oldsmobile were built well imo...thanks for sharing
Very nice, nothing like an 80 s oldsmobile.
loved the 442 and the hurst olds was the best cant forget a muscled up riverair seen and drove alot hot cars did owen them in the 80,s worked new car prep was 16 great summer job
Sholtz Buick
Wow it Sold in less then 2 hours! Beautiful 442. Guess the sayings true that the Early Bird Gets the best worms. 😊
Nice Cutlass 442 definitely needs work and it's not worth 19,000 needs paint work noticed a little oil leak underneath new vices fix the passenger mirror cable and is that the original motor and what was the mileage
Dayummm this is a badass unit👍
Anything T-Tops from the 1980s - I’m a fan. Love the color and the v8
This Car should be in your Personal Collection.. it’s A factory built 442 with T-Top’s…. You got to Keep A Few of the collector Cars For Retirement Money Sells..😄
I found one like this in a junkyard just no wheels and tires but for $400 i should have bought it
You cant beat these cars 👍 nice ride
Thanks 👍
she has my favorite GM O/D transmission, a 200 4R in my 45-year professional transmission rebuilding Career i have built more than a plenty of them. the good part is they all have a multi pattern bell housing and will bolt to any GM engine. i have one in my beautiful 86 monte carlo SS,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Thank you for the video.
I love those mid 80s cutless Montessori and grandpress
Man this is one of the best looking 442 Oldsmobile future classic
Four Brothers....coming into Detroit .....a Tony Bennet album and a half eaten hotdog
This was the first car I owned as a teenager.
Nice clean running machine and a price to boot.
Damn I would like to have that and that 75 Monte Carlo
That is one sweet ride!!! That car definitely won’t last long on the lot.
That’s a clean 442. Nice car.
We had one growing up. Wish we still had it
T-tops and a mullet!!! Could be a little oil leak. Keeping everything lubed that way.
I love 78-88 GM G-Bodies!
Supee clean olds!!! Hard to find one tgat that condition.
Love the Oldsmobiles🗣️
That is a sweet ride! You're right, it won't last long!
So rare with t-tops need some work but it's straight
I haven't seen those ol' ol' cars in a long time I remember I had one of those.
Beautiful and Badass!!😍🤘🏼
Okay, okay.....subscribed....Thanks Nick
Beautiful Olds, but the car is just a little small. I much prefer the '70-'77s
I’d like to have that 442 & a Monte Carlo SS
Those are great cars and luxurious and simultaneously sporty. They were much like the Monte Carlo SS's...The total package. I believe that young man shares his father and grandfathers love of muscle cars..and thers nothing wrong eith that..Good job Nick.
Good looking cutlass.❤
Beautiful car. Love this model
And style. Also the Monte Carlo of that era which looks exactly the same as this 442. A few little things wrong w it but pretty solid. beautiful ❤
I paid $ 16.5 in 1986 if i recall
That's about what I paid for my 87 442. Bought it brand new and still have it.
The perfect car for any collection!
luv this classic
⚡ sell super quick ⚡my mom had that in White 🍀got R done 😎✌️
Website says already sold! That was quick.
That is a beautiful & reasonable price. I wish i had that money 💰 cause i would scoup that up 😢
Now that is sharp.
I was only out of High school a couple years when these came out. Great driving babe magnet cars.
