I’ve been thinking about going on a mission I’m almost 19 and I asked god to give me a good reason to why I should go since I’m so scared and I watched this video & I instantly started crying I’m so happy that the church is a big part of my life
I recently returned from my mission. Choosing to serve a mission is one of the best decisions you can ever make. It will bless you and your family now and for eternity. There is no greater joy than to labor alongside the Lord in His vineyard for the salvation of our brothers and sisters.
Elia I never wanted to go on a mission at 19 but always admired those who did. I wanted to get married in the temple and have kids. Which I did. Now I know after many long years, that it's more of a blessing to go and serve the Lord at your young, tender age. Missionary kids lol, have such a pure Christ like countenance about them. This will be one of the first foundation blocks of the home you are building for you and your family (when the time is right). If you don't have a wonderful strong foundation block, it could crumble later like mine did. I didn't marry a missionary who had a good strong foundation and it showed later. It can help you so much in life. Looks good on a resume etc. I will pray for you and your family. When 2 or more pray for the same thing, stronger the prayer, twice the blessings. Take care, let me know if you decide to go please. Linda
Hi Elia. I served a mission from 1982 - 1984). Even now, some 36 to 38 years later, I draw regularly on experiences that I had and testimony growth that happened while I served. My wife and I have also had the joy of watching four of our children serve missions, including our youngest who was called to serve in my mission and, almost four decades later, is having many of the same experiences that I had! There are few stronger advocates than me for the wonderful blessings and other personal benefits that come to a missionary from a valiantly served mission. But the best part is that it’s not about you - it’s about the Lord and the people that He will bless through your service. Your personal improvements and the other benefits that will come to you are just positive by-products of you being “anxiously engaged in a good (missionary) cause”. I wish you all the best as you decide whether to serve. Speaking personally, my mission was absolutely foundational and I shudder to imagine what my life would have been without it.
GO! It will change your life, and that of your posterity, going forward. The Lord wants you to receive those blessings. Decide NOW that you will serve. I promise you will not regret it.
hey sister, i am glad to hear your passion. How glorious this gospel is and i wish I can add words and thoughts of meaningful comfort to you. I want to affirm that joseph smith truly arose as the 1st prophet in this dispensation and translated thr golden plates. He saw angel moroni ye including the sacred experience as he knelt in prayer for the true church. of this i testify in his sacred name amen
I got baptized the day this video came out. I smoked a lot of weed, drank, smoked cigarettes, I was careless with my words and after I got baptized I had the willpower to quit everything. I stopped everything at once and I don't have cravings, here and there with the cigarettes but nothing else. If I'm honest I swear far too much and I'm quick to anger, but I can feel myself changing. GOD will walk with you, not for you. Remember that! And repent to God! There is no other way of a good happy fulfilling life unless you have faith and put God first. He knows those who are his, people who haven't experienced his love I hope someday will. Nobody deserves to miss out on it. God bless anyone who read this and don't forget to thank God tonight.
Congrats on your baptism. I was baptized as an adult about 15 years ago. Some things, I have kept away from since my baptism. Some evil parts of me returned. The beauty of the gospel is that we get 2nd and 3rd and 4th chances. Even if we fall flat on our face, we are still falling forward. We are winners when we try, and never give up.
You're incrredible , keep sharing your story I can relate to alot of these things this past year when I lost a loved one and not only when I was in the hospital I could feel and see myself changing as I shared the gospel I could see other people changing as well. Thank you
I needed to hear this today. I have been trying on getting closer to god. But everytime i fail miserably. Doubt and disbelief always comes up. But now i know if we are determined to get closer to god no matter what, he will grant our heart's desire, for he is the one who gave us that desire.
Ether 12:27 - when we realize we are weak and imperfect and rely on the Savior's grace is when we find the strength through Him and not of ourselves to overcome our temptations and draw nearer to Him.
Hey sweet one I don't know if you are a member of the church or not. BUT, I would encourage you to read Alma 32 in the book of Mormon. I just read it this morning and boy did it ring out loud and clear. If you're not a member, call the missionaries, they will give you the book of Mormon free. I had been a member all my life and then my husband did things and kicked me out of my home, turned my kids against me etc. I lived in my car. I had a $6 an hour part time job. I got a boyfriend I left the church because I knew it's wrong to live with someone and not be married. Anyway, last year I prayed if I should go back to church. Two days later, the missionaries showed up on my doorstep! It's been amazing and I am baptized again and loving it! It can happen to you too! If you need/want more encouragement, let me know. Now, have a beautiful day and don't forget to pray!
Yes I'm glad that happened to you, always remember he is coming on to him is a two-way relationship, you coming to him and him to you. He is always there so sometimes coming unto Christ is just recognizing what he has done in your life and is doing now and how his power has blessed you.
I've heard a lot of people recently with similar stories. I know a lot of parents and leaders are very worried about the next generation and the challenges they will face. I believe the best thing we can do is love and accept everyone and teach as best we can about the Atonement and the power of prayer so "that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins" and to find peace and answers.
Most of my issues stemmed from an incorrect understanding of the Atonement and it's direct relevance to my life. I definitely agree that this is the best thing we can do to prepare the next generation.
Good for him and others who make those difficult changes to come back like him! It’s difficult to think how life would be without the Savior and His atonement after experiencing His love for us after receiving a forgiveness of everything that has burdened our soul for however long.
His life's story is inspiring to those who want to change .Thanks for meeting the two missionaries! God loves each one of us as we prepare our heart to let Him come into our life!
No he doesn’t change all of we make a step of faith. We must REPENT and truly BELIEVE and FOLLOW him. Only then will the Holy Spirit make you blameless in the eyes of God. I urge you to put the Book of Mormon down and to read the gospel of John. For Galatians 1:8 tells us that any other gospel than the one preached by Jesus Christ, even if it’s an angel from heaven preaching the Bible assures is that he will be eternally condemned!!! Follow Jesus. Not Mormonism. Give your life to him. Not missions. Works cannot save. Only the blood of Jesus Christ. Please. I love you and I know that Jesus wants your heart. Please follow him and only him. Follow his teachings and no one else’s. Not the bishops or Joseph Smith but Christ alone. Jesus said “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”
I felt the same way sometimes. I was very selfish and wasn't doing the things I was supposed to be doing or living the way I was supposed to be living. His grace is saving!!!
the music from 0:21-1:01 feels unncessesary. despite this, the firm, inspiring story and testimony of our brother prevailed to my heart ♥️extending love and warm wishes to kenny♥️
The plant analogy is my favorite walk with Christ. His evolution is a Revalation of a Revolution maturing in His Glorious Kingdom. I find it so adorable when seed's watered and nurtured every day! Most plants are such majestic elements of God's nature of Creation.
This is just what I needed to remind me why I’m beginning to go back to church, and even at 24 it’s not too late for me to serve a mission! Such a beautiful story and walking proof of the plan of happiness :) I can truly feel him testifying of God’s grace.
No! Don’t fall into the trap of the Mormon church. The Book of Mormon is a false gospel given by evil inspiration. Galatians 1:8 says “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you any other gospel than the one we have preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!!!” I urge you to pick up your Bible and read the TRUE gospel of Christ. Try the book of John. Please read it with a sincere and open heart and be accepting of the transformation he can make on your soul. If you truly REPENT AND BELIEVE you can revive the Holy Spirit and become blameless in the eyes of God. Salvation isn’t achieved by works or your missions. It’s by being SAVED through the blood of the lamb. The death of JESUS!!! Jesus said “I am the way the truth and the life. No one. Comes to the father except through me.”
@@jaxreavis7956 We read that very same scripture this year as we studied the New Testament. We only "go on missions" because the spirit directs us to, just as any man in your gospel is called of God to preach. As Joseph Smith said, if we baptized anyone without them having faith in Christ, and repenting of their sins, we might as well be baptizing bags of sand: it would amount to nothing. We baptize because Jesus Christ specifically commanded to do it, but we can only be saved through our faith and belief in Christ. In other words, we only do what Jesus directs, as prompted by the spirit of the Lord. May you have a good day!
I love hearing these stories. They fill me with such happiness and warmth. Thank you for sharing them. I am not a baptised member of the church, I have never been baptised into any church but grow up with CofE (Church of England) I came across this church a year ago at a time in my life I felt I had no one. I have read the book of mormon, the doctrine and covenants and others since then via The gospel library app. Watching these videos as well as your Instagram and websites videos have always brought me peace and happiness. I have watched the Easter and Autumn General Conferences from President Nelson to become closer and a better person. I would like to attend church I have even spoke to a few people who have attended my local ward. I haven't been to service because I am scared and afraid to be judged by those within which I know I would be, nowadays it is easier to talk online than face to face but I will find the courage to step in one day.
Hi Bethany, thank you so much for your comment and for sharing your experience. We're so glad you're here, and we're happy to hear you have found peace and happiness in the gospel of Jesus Christ! We understand it can be frightening to attend church for the first time; it takes great courage to try something new and overcome our fears or feelings of inadequacy. But, we know you are loved by our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that they know the desires of your heart. Pray to them and seek their help and support. You are always welcome at church, and you are never truly alone. You can also reach out to missionaries at www.comeuntochrist.org/contact-us, who would happy to be your guides when or if you decide to attend church for the first time. Take care! We hope to see you soon.
The gospel of Jesus Christ for most is a question of do I want my life to be good, better, or the best that it can be. But for those who have taken a much darker path in their life the gospel of Jesus Christ is the difference between life and death. Both physically and eternally.
Thank you for sharing your incredible story!❤️❗ Like you, I have known opposition. My husband and family had a strong faith, and atrended Church regularly. But my narriage fell apart, and everyone went thier separate ways. I have been praying for a way to bring us all together again, but Im still working on it! So happy you found your way to God and the Restord Gospel! Congratulations! ❤️❗And God bless you! 😇👑😇❤️❗
Of course just like anyone I have my ups & downs. Yesterday I was terminated from my job. I could have just sat around & moped & felt sorry for myself, but that is not what Father had planned for me. I received a very strong prompt from the Spirit to text my boss. I asked him about another position in the company. I have not got a definite answer yet, but he did say he would take it into serious consideration. If I had ignored that prompt, I would gotten no where. Father loves me. I will always remember who I am.
I look at it the opposite way. What most people call skepticism I call apathy. A true skeptic will know that doubts and questions will remain until tested. Sincere testing requires effort, work, and ironically, faith.
The problem for some is that their ground is toxic and so there is not but sprouting. This is where they're put in the "preparation to hear the Word" phase.
Kenny, thank you for sharing your story. I was not expecting to see someone I've met in one of these videos! You're amazing, and an inspiration. I never served in your district, but I always heard what a legend you were, and I just want to thank you for having the courage to share your experience. Keep it up man!
I LOOOVE missionary work, so this video prompted me to pray for a missionary opportunity tonight (even though it's already 8pm here), which prompted me to send a Church-made video to my non-member friend about dance, which is something we have in common. :)
Grace is grace. It's not grace after all you can do. With the grace of God, you will do righteous things. If His Spirit dwells in you, then surely you know how to behave because He guides and leads you.
Thank you for sharing this. I went out with the missionaries. They meet my cousin girlfriend, she was talking to them then she turn to me and said long time you haven't visit your family (i was by them on sunday) when she said that something hit Me and that's it: You are a member of God's church you are trying your best but where is your family ( i felt like that was the devil) , where did you put them? I felt ashame of me. Heavenly father loves us and his aware of all our problems. As soon I reach home I went on UA-cam wanted to watch something while eating and i saw that there is a new on the church channel so i press it and i watch it twice because where he said that that seed is not fully grown yet sweep away all my pain. Am not perfect , am an imperfect beginning. My tree is just a seedling still growing. Hold On so it won't fall in to the opposition trap. Heavenly father sees me and all that i can bear and his just waiting. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It is not same as mine but it touch me.
I love to studying out of the book of Mormon and I love go out with the missionary work i love going to church i love to studying the Bible i love this video so much it's talk about Jesus Christ belss
If you loved studying the Bible you would know that the Book of Mormon is a false book given by evil inspiration. Galatians 1:8 “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you any other gospel than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!!!” I’m sorry but works cannot save. Only JESUS. You must follow him and only him. Not the Mormon church or Joseph Smith. You must truly REPENT and give your whole life to him and only then will the Holy Spirit make you blameless in the eyes of God. I love you and I know Jesus desperately wants your heart. Please read his true gospel. Try the book of John and let Jesus transform your life. Not bishops or clergymen but Christ alone. Jesus said “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”
Repentance is a turning from your sins and turning to God. It doesn't take a while. The mindset is immediate the actions towards living for God take a while to learn, apply and live by but never repentance
Does anyone know where this young man has been called on his mission .. What an amazing testimony of listening to the spirit and taking counsel too .. This young man is living the gospel out in his life and it is so good to see the young men of the church gaining knowledge so young and being willing to share with the world
I could never be religious but that's why i keep being sooo intrested in religion and god. How can so many people spent their life on something that is not possible. Or proveable at all. (soooo sorry for being disrespectfull just can't think of another way to put it) what if like 2020 years ago somebody (whoever made the bible story) made up a diffrent reason why to pay and serve their group. Would that story also be accepted as a fact and get just as much traction as this story? Well i guess yes.. that's why there are so many different religions. When i was in a very bad place in my life for 2 years i inspired myself to get out off there and fight for my happyness. It seems way healtier to me to live only for yourself. Only if you believe in god you will think you need him/her. (Again sorry if i came off as disrespectfull. I do want to start a dialogue)
Hi Levi, thanks for sharing your perspective and your questions. We believe individuals who seek to know the truth about Jesus Christ can find Him. If you're interested in religion, we invite you to read the Book of Mormon, an ancient record that teaches about Jesus. Have you read the Book of Mormon before? You can request a free copy here: www.comeuntochrist.org/beliefs/book-of-mormon You may also be interested in this video where several people share why they believe in God: ua-cam.com/video/vvHs8TmWY0A/v-deo.html Thanks again for your questions!
@@churchofjesuschrist thanks for your response! I think religious people believe in god just like i believe in extraterrestrial life. To me the exictance of aliens seems like such an obvius yet undiscoverd truth. I just can not imagne how somebody could doubt it. But the differance is that statisticly it's just impossible that we are the only planet out of infinite that have the right conditions for life. But religion doesn't have any proof at all. It's just an un-supported answer to how come everything exist? Faith is scary because it feels like everybody is brainwashed into saying stuff they can't actually explain. Almost all believers say they just feel it and i don't. That tells me you have been teached to feel something that i have never learned. You have to be learned to believe in something instead of just believing it because it makes sense after hearing it. then you know this info wants something from you. Like money, power, territory and servants. Someday this will be something of the past like orcs, trolls and unicorns. And only a select few will still believe it. 500 years or something... and this is just another fairy tale.
Thanks for your reply, Levi. As Paul taught in the Bible, "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." It is challenging to live by faith, but we believe that by faith and through the witness of the Holy Ghost, any man or woman can learn the truth of all things, including the truth about Jesus Christ and His gospel. If you're interested in learning more, we invite you to reach out to missionaries. They can answer any of your questions and talk with you more about faith in God. See the link below to learn more: www.comeuntochrist.org/contact-us Take care!
Hi thank you for your wonderful testimony. If there any possibility to have this video in the french language? It would greatly help for my YW lesson for Sunday.
Hi, thank you for your question. We're sorry, we do not seem to have this video translated in French. For all church videos available in French, click here: ua-cam.com/users/MormonMessagesFRAvideos
Even though I didn't find this same video in French, I was able to look the same content about repentance and change of heart. Thank you for your quick response.
If you went to the local chapel on sunday and asked I'm sure someone would help you get a small copy of the book orf Mormon. Or you could go online and ask for the missionaries to bring you one and they would happily get it for you.
@Rosary of StMary saved my life, thanks for your question. Yes, if you visited a Church meetinghouse, someone would be happy to give you a Book of Mormon. You'll have the best luck on a Sunday-- find a meetinghouse near you and its Sunday worship schedule here: www.comeuntochrist.org/contact-us You can also request a free Book of Mormon online here: www.comeuntochrist.org/requests/free-book-of-mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wow even your website is a pit for those seeking the real Jesus, not your fan fiction version from your false prophet.
Hi Luyanda. We're sorry you feel trapped. As Elder Holland, an apostle in the Church, has taught, "...however many mistakes you feel you have made... or distance from home and family and God you feel you have traveled, I testify you have not traveled beyond the reach of divine love. It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ's Atonement shines." Remember that none of us are perfect, we all fall short and need the grace of Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father loves you and will forgive you as many times as you choose to believe and repent. Continue to reach out to our Heavenly Father in prayer, and seek help from a trusted adult or leader. To learn more about how to repent and receive forgiveness, see the link below. www.comeuntochrist.org/beliefs/forgiveness#ForgiveYourself Take care!
You dont need to spend thousands of hours and dollars to change. This is a scam. Counseling is a way to change that has helped many more people than the church ever has.
Only way to repent and be saved by Christ act 11:14-18, Luke 11:9-13 just follow only the original gospel tradition teaching not churches but Jesus will guide you personally to the end John 10:1-6 , zeph 3:9!
I know this feeling well, the cycle of shame. God has his law on our hearts, the commandments act like a mirror and is meant to drive us to the cross, it breaks my heart when any church claims another solution, or inserts them into the equation, pretending to be holy as a latter day saint and making promises you can't keep doesn't fix the original problem, I hope this guy genuinely discovers Christ one day.
I think this guy has discovered Christ especially considering how happy he seems now, as opposed to his life before a mission. I don’t think this video was meant to show the path to salvation.. more like how by our agency we can stop ourselves from being on that righteous path. It’s taken me a long time to realize it’s necessary to be fallen in order to be saved by the messiah. I’m 24 going back to church and want to go on a mission. So I appreciate this video and this man very much!
Hahaha arent you so righteous and holy for following the one true church. Clearly better than all other churches HAHAHAHAHA. It breaks my heart when you judge other people, as well as condescend over others. So much for good morals huh
You obviously don't understand that grace comes into our lives as we keep the commandments of God. Its one thing to receive the gift, its another thing to apply it. Jesus said, take up your cross AND FOLLOW ME. Not just look at the cross and admire me..
I’m going to assume this is the Mormon church. This is what I have to say. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to God the Father. He is the way the truth and the life. Never in the Bible does it say that satan is his brother. That is false. And never does it say that we will become gods. Or that there are levels of heaven. Galatians 1:8 “But even if we or an angel from heaven preached to you any other gospel than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!!!” Don’t take these words lightly. This applies to Joseph Smith and all of his followers. The Mormon church is following a DIFFERENT gospel. One that may have been given by a supernatural being but this violates what God has said. I urge you to truly follow Jesus. Not the deception of the Book of Mormon. We cannot bring our ancestors to heaven with us. Jesus didn’t just die to save Adam. And God was never a human. A true relationship with Jesus is different than accepting his grace and being like him. It’s REPENTING to him and LOVING him and KNOWING him and being FILLED with the Holy Spirit which not only makes you blameless in the eyes of God but empowered to spread his love and resist sin. Please put aside the Book of Mormon and read the gospel of John. And really the whole New Testament. It is truly God’s pure word and the true good news. And if you’re threatened by leaders or family when trying to leave the Mormon church, don’t fear. God assured us that we will endure persecution but the one who is truly faithful to the end will be rewarded immensely in heaven. Please try finding a Christian to talk to them about these matters. Not a Mormon pastor because they are not Christians. They have created a delusion that seems amazing but steers away from Jesus’ true gospel. It’s sad but true. There will be some on judgment day who say they have served the Lord but God/Jesus will say “Depart from me evildoer I never knew you.” Only Jesus can forgive sins. He is the Alpha and the Omega. Beginning and the end. First and last. And no one can stand before God without the blood of Jesus securing their hearts.
Hey! Actually, we are Christians, though with all of the rumors I can see how that can be confusing. We also believe in the Bible, just like you. In Ephesians it does say that, but we still have the gospel of Jesus Christ, even though it may be a little different from your perception of it. I just happen to whole-heartedly believe that this church has all of truths that Christ taught of. And I agree, Christ died to save everyone, not just Adam.
Camryn Smith okay but why do still still follow the Book of Mormon??? You can’t just pick and choose which parts of the gospel you want to believe. Yet y’all completely disregard what Galatians says. Tell me what is the Book of Mormon? And the problem with the Mormon church is that I’ve known so many people in it and none have truly repented and accepted Christ. Believing that Christ died for you won’t do you any good. James chapter 2 says even the DEMONS believe. The difference with Christians is that we FOLLOW Christ. The true Christ. You believe in someone other than Jesus Christ. They just have his title. The Bible makes it VERY clear that Jesus is God and if you don’t believe so then you are following a completely different false god. Furthermore, you believe that Jesus visited the Americas. Well maybe your false god did but not Jesus. The Bible says that when he raised from the dead he remained with his disciples for 40 days and then descended into heaven. There’s no mention of any other events. And don’t twist John chapter 10. I’m telling you this because I fear for your soul because on judgment day when God convicts you of your sins you are going to say that you followed Jesus but he will say “Depart from me evildoer, for I never knew you.” And that’s going to be the most fearful moment of your eternity, falling into the wrath of God. Please listen to what the Bible is and follow Christ. You don’t need bishops or clergymen to save you. If you follow them you are not following Christ. I understand that one would want to defend their religion when another says it’s wrong but I can’t just let you live this lie without at least warning you that only the blood of the lamb can save you. And the Book of Mormon is what leads you astray.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints you can’t claim to be Christians if you follow a completely different book from a completely different religion. If you really believed in the Bible you would not lead so many people astray. God knows your hearts. The true question is do you know him?
Change is not a singular event. Rather, it is an ongoing process through time.
Yes, that is what counseling is. It doesnt cost thousand of dollars or hours though.
Yes but it begins with an event, a cry for mercy, as so often illustrated in the scriptures and in our lives.

Hi Elia. I served a mission from 1982 - 1984). Even now, some 36 to 38 years later, I draw regularly on experiences that I had and testimony growth that happened while I served. Congrats on your baptism. I was baptized as an adult about 15 years ago. Some things, I have kept away from since my baptism. Some evil parts of me returned. I needed to hear this today. I have been trying on getting closer to god. But everytime i fail miserably. Doubt and disbelief always comes up. But now i know if we are determined to get closer to god no matter what, he will grant our heart's desire, for he is the one who gave us that desire.
When you feel like that, just go to the basics stuff. Pray and read the scriptures and you are going to be fine.
Ether 12:27 - when we realize we are weak and imperfect and rely on the Savior's grace is when we find the strength through Him and not of ourselves to overcome our temptations and draw nearer to Him.
Hey sweet one
I don't know if you are a member of the church or not.
The lord is aware of the things we need and he will give you it at the right time.Life is a test.
Amen! And show love. Be love.
Awesome! Thank YOU JESUS
Thank you. Beautiful testimony.
Amen Praise God!
For with God nothing shall be impossible 😇
Absolutely Beautiful
Through the Lord Jesus Christ, our very natures and desires can be transformed!
Amen!
Ah yes! Brainwashing! Excellent!
Amen. This is my experience. His Grace is miraculous and effective.
Good for him and others who make those difficult changes to come back like him! It’s difficult to think how life would be without the Savior and His atonement after experiencing His love for us after receiving a forgiveness of everything that has burdened our soul for however long.
Jesus has helped me change for the better.
His life's story is inspiring to those who want to change .Thanks for meeting the two missionaries! God loves each one of us as we prepare our heart to let Him come into our life!
The Savior is always so kind. He can change all if we are just willing to take the first act of good faith. I love these videos!
Love, love, love this video. Thank you Kenny for your testimony, change is totally possible! Its beautiful to have those life defining moments!
Jesus is Lord, risen from the dead.
I played this for my grandson who has been having some doubts and issues of his own and it really moved him and made him think
What a beautiful journey, thank you for sharing ❤
I love how humble this guy is. No one has fully arrived and he is ready to admit it. I love that.
Helou. Hauuja. Mnistiia
Jesus name Amen.
God bless you 🙏 Through God anything is possible!!!!!! I agree!!!!!
Thanks for sharing the gospel, God bless you
Kenny...you completely ROCK man. Thanks for sharing your story, and thanks for choosing to become and remain a disciple of Christ!
Your mama prayed HARD for you! ❤
I went thru the same process over 50 years ago. It was the right decision for me as well completely changed my life.
God bless that lovely manx
Thank you for your testimony. Peace
Amen
Good testimony. Thanks for sharing, Kenny.
Agreed
Jesus is coming back soon jesus is lord jesus is the living God jesus save s
This is just what I needed to remind me why I’m beginning to go back to church, and even at 24 it’s not too late for me to serve a mission! Such a beautiful story and walking proof of the plan of happiness :) I can truly feel him testifying of God’s grace.
Thanks for sharing your insights and experience, @Torus of Light! We're glad you appreciated the video.
It's never to late... and Heavenly Father knows, hence the sacred sacrament.
What an example of faith, thank you for sharing.
Amen my friend...until you experience it, the power of Jesus Christ, you won’t believe what you’re missing.
Amazing story!!!
Beautiful story beautifully told. Thank you for sharing. I hope I can always keep my sequoia tree growing regardless its current height.
God allways bless you wonderful soul👌🙏🏻👍💖
Well done, you.
In order for the gospel of Jesus Christ to work in our lives we must be willing to set aside our skepticism, believe, repent & commit our lives to it.
Thanks for your comment, Kenton!
I LOOOVE missionary work, so this video prompted me to pray for a missionary opportunity tonight (even though it's already 8pm here), which prompted me to send a Church-made video to my non-member friend about dance, which is something we have in common. :)
Thanks for sharing, Genassee!
I love this!
Grace is grace. It's not grace after all you can do. With the grace of God, you will do righteous things. If His Spirit dwells in you, then surely you know how to behave because He guides and leads you.
Thank you for sharing this. I went out with the missionaries. They meet my cousin girlfriend, she was talking to them then she turn to me and said long time you haven't visit your family (i was by them on sunday) when she said that something hit Me and that's it:
You are a member of God's church you are trying your best but where is your family ( i felt like that was the devil) , where did you put them?
AMEN👆🏾❤️👑!
I really enjoy these videos. Even being older, just seeing things that still apply to me help me have hope for myself for the future.
Beautiful testimony, thank you for sharing!
Overcome your dependance on gult , submission and fear of self, responsibilty and challenges to come. Do not submit to anyone or anything
Awesome. Thanks so much for sharing this with me 💖 from texas
I needed this message, thanks for sharing.
I loved hearing your story. Thank you for sharing it, it will help many many people.
Repentance is a turning from your sins and turning to God. It doesn't take a while. The mindset is immediate the actions towards living for God take a while to learn, apply and live by but never repentance
Nice video.
Does anyone know where this young man has been called on his mission ..
What an amazing testimony of listening to the spirit and taking counsel too ..
This young man is living the gospel out in his life and it is so good to see the young men of the church gaining knowledge so young and being willing to share with the world
change me strengten me my godxx
You are getting they brother!😁
Vrktuu👍👋🌼
Hi thank you for your wonderful testimony. If there any possibility to have this video in the french language? It would greatly help for my YW lesson for Sunday.
Hi, thank you for your question. We're sorry, we do not seem to have this video translated in French. For all church videos available in French, click here: ua-cam.com/users/MormonMessagesFRAvideos
Even though I didn't find this same video in French, I was able to look the same content about repentance and change of heart. Thank you for your quick response.
I need a small book of mormon, does anyone know how I could get one, like if I walk into the lds church, will they give me a book of mormon?
If you went to the local chapel on sunday and asked I'm sure someone would help you get a small copy of the book orf Mormon. Or you could go online and ask for the missionaries to bring you one and they would happily get it for you.
@Rosary of StMary saved my life, thanks for your question. Yes, if you visited a Church meetinghouse, someone would be happy to give you a Book of Mormon. You'll have the best luck on a Sunday-- find a meetinghouse near you and its Sunday worship schedule here: www.comeuntochrist.org/contact-us You can also request a free Book of Mormon online here: www.comeuntochrist.org/requests/free-book-of-mormon
here is a link for the mini pocket-sized ones deseretbook.com/p/pocket-size-book-mormon-2013-edition-lds-distribution-center-93694?variant_id=1931-paperback
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wow even your website is a pit for those seeking the real Jesus, not your fan fiction version from your false prophet.
I too am a two-foot tall little sequoia
I just feel trapped
Who is this? I served with a guy who looks exactly like him, and the guy was adopted and had one brother.
You dont need to spend thousands of hours and dollars to change. This is a scam. Counseling is a way to change that has helped many more people than the church ever has.
Absolutely!! It's a scam, wrapped up nicely in a cult.
*Galations, not Ephesians
@Camryn Smith, thanks for clarifying our beliefs and sharing your experience with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Keep it up!
I love this!
