Great Video, those wires from the pump looks dangerous. The alarm is annoying. Rather have a txt message or app to alert me. Is the magnets 🧲 marine safe? Ans is there a 3 prong uk plug with it.

    Great Video!
I have a question, if your main reservoir where the pump is located under the water dries, is the pump will burn out? Or this system has an auto shut-off to protect the pump?
    Thanks

Amazing!! this is the exact video i was looking for. I found TONS of videos of people explaining how to install the product but none of them actually showed this part in depth which was my biggest confusion. I had no idea how far to submerge the sensor but you're video gave me tons of insight! thank you!

so basically the water high alarm is if the pump were to ever get stuck on or the optical eye failed or for some other weird reason your sump is taking on water.... and the low alarm is if the pump were to fail to turn on when a top up is needed or again if the optical eye were to fail if I understand correctly.
let's say if the pump were to get stuck on (if that's even possible) and the alarm went... does it have the capability to the bypass and shut off the pump itself? or is what I'm asking realistically something that would never happen and it's really only as a backup to optical eye failure?

Great video, how long (in feet) is the pump (white) tube? Also how long is the "black tube" in feet? Too bad this thing doesn't have dual sensor so that if main sensor gets stuck because of the salt build up, a second one is available to stop the water when I am away from vacation.

The only thing I don't like about this ATO unit is that if your RODI storage vessel water line is above the sump line where you attach the output ATO line it will cause a syphon and keep filling water into your sump. Other then that real nice unit!

This guy explained it with visuals. I have no other channel doing so. Thx. Can I use this with my fancy goldfish tank. I use a sump for them

Another awesome episode this week on what appears to be an additional great Tunze product. Having so many features that are appealing such as a bracket for the return line, the optical for water level including a backup float switch just incase to communicate with the pump to turn on and off and even a alarm on the controller, makes me want to go buy this ATO. Prior to you making this video I don't believe I knew the convenience of having an ato or exactly how they operate. I was hesitant in installing one on my current system but with the features of the alarm and back up float switch I am no longer hesitant about it and will be looking into adding the Tunze to my reef system.thanks again for the great review and description of this product.looking forward to the next episode already.

great video, i am looking at the tunze nano due to limited space. question though, in my all in one tank depending on how i have my wavemaker set the water level in my return section rises and lowers. i guess how could i set my ato? just keep my wavemaker on the same setting? thoughts?
