Flashback to when I was learning to handle hunting dogs. In a cornfield. Held two leashes as friends retrieved their harvest. Those pups were so excited they spun me around... wrapped me up like a maypole. Friends found me tied to cornstalks, pups sitting obediently at my feet.
We had a black lab rottweiler mix that was easily mistaken for being violent and having a different breed in him cause of how large he was, but he was just a gentle giant with big ass bear paws he literally shared his food with the neighbor cats and stray dogs that wandered in our yard and would lick you too death of given the chance 😊 RIP Milo
My nan had a lab akita mix that was fairly big but the most gentle dog ive ever met When my dog was born she was like a second mum, and hes a jack russell they're very tiny when born, her paw was bigger than he was
Love your videos. I work at a dog daycare as a handler and would love to know what formal education you've had for training and understanding dog behaviors. Im looking into going back to school to learn more about the specifics and just wanna know what you did 👍
Ohh this remind me off my puppy she was soooo scared off the leach the first few times to the point she was screaming 💔 she scared me so much I thot there was something wrong with it , now she loves going for walks, that she will lead me all the way to the door and wait for me to open the door to go out 😂
I have a roti lab mix and oh my God is she ridiculous I got her off of Facebook Marketplace for free you can tell she wasn't taken care of very well because she was so skittish and scared of literally everything I've had her for about 3 years now she's a lot more behaved an acclimated well to my four other dogs she's a big dumb dumb sweetheart
I’ll never understand the pointless mutilation of a dog just to make oneself feel as if they look cool or badass. I highly doubt this is a working farm dog where their tail could get caught in a gate or something and therefor is better off being docked. Smh.
@@StreamlineK9 but at least Im not abusing dogs. What the hell do they have to be in a dark cave for. I understand crates but why a box like that? Do you know about the effects of solitary confinement? My name has nothing to do with this. Watch your video look how that looks. No wonder he was scared when he came out. Im sure youre a great trainer but watch how it looks in your video. Looks like macho this is my property these dogs are my slaves ect ect. Yuck. You dont seem like that type of person
@caitlynd8843 obviously they are asking because tail docking is really bad for animals and should only be done if there has been an injury or something
@@caitlynd8843 thats not true, most Rottweilers are born with a healthy tail, its just in some very rare occasions they are born without one. The reason i asked is because i dont want to support animal cruelty and if the tail is chopped off it is unnecessary and cruel. Its not even legal where I live because its considered animal abuse. That is why i asked.
He is gambling here with pulling the dog. That would either getting the dog more scared or more comfortable. With treat, retreat, getting the dog more comfortable would have a much higher chance than the dog getting more scared.

Just like human children, they get bursts of super strength when someone freaks them out. 😂😅

Why dont you try the treat and retreat method instead of physically pulling the dog over?
sometimes you literally have too. he's not yanking him, it's a firm tug. relax

I’m not a fan of the tool skirt
Don’t wear it
The fact you called it a tool skirt is gay not gonna lie
