As a nurse I’m familiar with Anti phospholipid Antibody Syndrome, but also was tested for it myself, my issue turned out to be something else. You are a fighter and you will do well. Like any chronic illness it takes time and work to get a handle on it. Take care of yourself

Your house is starting to look more like a home and all of your hard work really does pay off.
As far as having to reduce the amount of Vitamin K you intake per day and having that translate to your PT/INR levels can take a while.
Remember... there are so many other salads out there to eat other than a bowl of lettuce. Even if you let yourself eat a green salad, make sure that you put a bunch of other veggies, dried fruit, croutons, etc...
Most of all, please take care of yourself...we love you! 🥰🤗🙏
My husband has stage 4 cancer. His last 4treatments were $500,000. Thank God for Medicare.

Yvonne, thank you for sharing your personal journey. I know most of us were very worried about you! Look into carnivore, I had an auto immune disease and cured myself. I’m also a salad lover, but did strictly carnivore until I was heeled, then slower reintroduced foods (mostly vegetables). I guess you could say I’m more of a Whole Foods eater now, no processed foods, that’s what kills me, or my body! Praying for you ❤

As a nurse for over 30 years and the victim of an autoimmune disease, my prayers are with you. Sometimes it’s difficult to figure out the right recipe to deal with it, rather it be diet, medication, etc. But, there is a way and we all keep looking for it. You will do well. Praying for you. I went through breast cancer, chemo and radiation in 2019 and God was gracious to me and I am blessed to be 5 years cancer free. Anxiety over it absolutely won’t help so you have the right idea. Keep praying and stay positive doing what you love.

Hey! I also have APS! Lifer on warfarin now. I was diagnosed in 2001 after the loss of our baby daughter. I have 4 kiddos, 2 without problems and a rainbow baby after a loss. It took a while to get my INR under control but I've been pretty stable for about 10 years. You'll get there! Love watching your makeover adventures. Hang in there!

My husband and I have had to buy our own insurance for years. Yes it is very expensive but our does cover almost everything. We are just blessed to be able to pay for our insurance. Prayers of healing. Glad I am not afraid of needles or shots as I have had to have many.

I was worried about you and I thank you for letting us hear your story. I went from doing great to being a really sick diabetic in my 40's. I am 66 now and finally got my best A1c report 6 months ago. All the meds, the monitoring, the doctor visits, like you said, what we are given, it's so hard some days. But we just get through it and the Lord watches over us! Prayers for blessings over you and wonderful Chris, and for your numbers to improve!! Life goes on, so let's have some fun! Texas Deb ❤

As a member of your UA-cam family and a customer of yours for many years, I was very concerned for you, as I consider you a member of my family, and I love you, Chris, Zoe and Alex. ❤ It can make you feel blindsided when you have been (to your knowledge) healthy your whole life and then find out you have a congenital condition. 😔 That also happened to me! When I was 64, I found out I had a bad heart valve from birth. The doctor said it wasn't discovered until then because of the massive amount of fruits and vegetables I ate every day‼️ They saved my life❣️ I wouldn't be surprised if your healthy diet kept your ASP dormant all of those years, too! It's very frustrating, Yvonne. I’m a nurse for the last 36 years and love creating with you in fact am hoping to retire and make my crafting become my new job. Anyway just wanted to let you know you’re in my prayers. To make it easier just tell people you have an auto immune disorder that causes abnormal clotting. Once your INR becomes therapeutic be careful of bumps and cuts as you will have a tendency to bleed more. If you ever end up with bleeding always let people know you’re on blood thinners and adjust your life with that in mind. Your numbers will come and you will get off the shots. Be strong and thank you for sharing

God made bodies so fascinating, each with its own unique characteristics! My Daddy was on Coumadin, then other meds because of the Coumadin…. But his levels weren’t reacting and yup! He and Marie ate out of their garden! 😂 Who knew healthy was unhealthy!!!! I just got diagnosed with hypothyroidism, levels were scary low, which caused my laziness, no weight issues for a hint of problem, but there you go…. Re-learning ❤ you and Chris are always in my thoughts and prayers ❤ hoping your daughter is healing too

I have 2 autoimmune diseases also, autoimmune hepatitis and Celiac disease, diagnosed at age 50. I had to change my diet also and on meds for the rest of my life. You'll get through it!
