Sometimes I imagine the person who originally owned these things ( ie...that gorgeous quilt). And I wonder who donated it? So glad you rescued it! Makes my heart happy.
Ohmygosh that GORGEOUS GORGEOUS QUILT!!💕You know which one I mean!! How could anyone dontate that?? It's soooo pretty!! What a score,Jami! Looking forward to tomorrow's video with new IOD!
*OMIGOSH, Jami...the quilt you found with the teardrop pieces on the border in different colors with the scalloped edge is absolutely DROP DEAD GORGEOUS❣️ No wonder you were so excited about that quilt‼️🤍💕💙 You found some nice leather purses, and Zeb found some amazing books about events in each century, plus the Ray's Boathouse Recipe book. Nice‼️😁* *See you tomorrow for the SUMMER IOD RELEASE. Whomever already bought the crate painted with crockery is going to be the first person to get a new IOD Summer 2024 Transfer(s) since the crate is already SOLD. 😃😜😉*
i have some of the century books with beautiful fabric covers. we make them into altered books to make mixed media projects in. we keep all the things we are interested in and use the pager that we don't like as much. super cool books for sure
Ray's Boat house is one of the best and iconic restaurant in Seattle, and right on the beautiful Puget Sound. Great recipes. I've used my cook book for years. Great find Zeb!!
*I am REALLY looking forward to seeing what 2024 Summer IOD Design is going on that beautifully painted Pacific blue dresser. Is it a stencil? Stamps? Paint inlay? Decoupage paper? Moulds? Mixed media? Only time will tell...oh, the SUSPENSE, LOL.😆😜🤪*
problem at the bins...all the trash starts running together and the Artists Mind is desparately looking for the Treasure in the midst...then ending up settling for a bunch of common trash...ie Rays Boat House
Jami, the 3 French horns is a candle holder, it was made in the 1980's and sold through the House of Lloyd, Christmas Around the World. They where a home catalog type company that tried to compete against the Home Interior Company. I have a lot of their Christmas items, mostly their Christmas porcelain dolls. Sadly, i don't have those candle holders.
The pacific blue looks so much better than the old “baby poop” olive green. And the wood inserts are a big improvement over that awful tinted plastic in the doors.
RAY’S BOATHOUSE Restaurant is indeed an institution in the Seattle area…. the food is delicious…. spends….. but the view of the Puget Sound is HEAVENLY….
I am so excited to see you Paint something in Blue Jami, I Hate the Color Green, even though it’s popular, I am 66 and Old School, I pay Cash for everything, Never use a ATM machine in my Life, We all are different in our World 🌎 we have,
Goodwill is awesome!!! I have found so many great books there. It’s my place to go for books! I make my periodic rounds to the outlets in my area to find the books (and sometimes DVD ‘s) I ‘m currently looking for. Usually with patience and perseverance, I find them. Do you guys ever come across any cool vintage toys from the 80’s or 90’s?
@JamiRayVintage ok thank you guys! I learned we have one here by us in Everett Washington. Can't wait to visit. Are this all stuff that did not sell at Goodwill store? Where does it go after it leaves out let? Where do you guys sell your things. 😊
When I think of the stuff that charities send to landfill it breaks my heart. People have donated this stuff, and yes I know that some people just send junk that they themselves don’t feel they can throw out, but if all this was shipped to 3rd world countries, the sort you see young kids walking over, the real stinking detritus of humanity, looking for, to them, valuables, like minerals, tin etc that they can do something with, even the interiors of Vietnam and China, countries who hide the people starving, it could be put to use! As the Holy Scriptures say, man has dominated man to his injury, so said Jeremiah! What a terrible shame. Remember what Jesus taught us, to pray for Gods Kingdom to come, well that is Gods Government that will fix everything!
You have such good taste!❤
Love the change up on your videos where you finish pieces! It’s hard for me to sit through 4 hours of painting lol
Can’t wait to tune in tomorrow

Right? I’m gonna end up with hundreds of quilts before I know it if people keep donating these good ones.
@JamiRayVintage that's a quilt that I would have a terribly hard time selling! It's really perfect for you.. the colors etc! Just darling!!!🌸
It's sad. Sometimes, people inherit quilts that they don't want. Sometimes they are a gift, and they aren't really appreciated.
I love the gold painted bunny ❤
I love that pink tablecloth. I want to buy it

Love the blue paint
That candle holder would be perfect for a Christmas decor of the Twelve Days of Christmas… 3 French horns…
My thought exactly!
*I thought it was 3 French Hens, LOL‼️🤣 But yes, my first thought was it is perfect for Christmas decor...and somebody may be missing one.🕯🎺*

Your rolling pins are beautiful..have you thought about putting recipes on them

Love Eric Sloane books!
That quilt!!
T-Rex arms! Laughing so hard.
I thought it ironic that You Can’t Always Get What You Want was playing at the bins while people dig through stuff 😂
Wow I Can’t believe the People, it’s crazy, I have never seen such a crowd,

Both our gw bins don’t have books anymore
Little short T-'rex arms..... lol😅
The SLC bins are not good to me. You guys find amazing stuff!
❤
I didn't know they had Goodwill outlets? I quilt. That was a amazing find. I love thrift store hunting too. Where do you guys live?

Cottage gathered fabric insert instead of wood panels
Do you guys have a brick and mortar store too where people can come shop? Or only online?
Yes we have a store 1190 N 500 W Lehi Ut 84043. And also online jamirayvintage.com
Did you sand that piece of furniture or just wash it and paint it?
Just wash and paint.
What is self leveling?
It levels out and has less brush strokes for a nice smooth finish.
Thank you so much. I wish we had bins where I live, Wichita Falls, Texas, but then I would be broke all the time.
Curious why you don't sand furniture down first?
@@pieraboehmer6871 because it’s not necessary
@@JamiRayVintage really? I'm following a couple furniture make over people, and most sand. Not being critical, I want to learn
@@pieraboehmer6871most generally no reason to sand. Why go to the trouble
