Ok my cheeks hurt from smiling for the last 10 minutes of this video. That article was hilarious. I had no idea what importance the “condiment dish” article was going to have until you turned the paper towards the camera. I seriously gasped out loud when I saw it was your cherished butter dishes. 💕💕💕. That just lets us know “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure”. Thank goodness for that. Thank you sooooooo much for sharing your videos your stories and your family with us. I love your content soooooo much. You are so much fun to watch and always produce a great video. Thank you again for sharing with us 💕💕💕💕
I learn so much from your video's, I really enjoy them! I am also a retired hair stylist! 33 yrs behind the chair. You & your hubby are such an inspiration to us all! I am in Ohio & hope someday to head North to check out your booth. Keep up the amazing work you both do.
Oh goodness!! What a sweet story about the condiment dishes. Back in 2017 I also would not have known what they were. We inherited a stack of square dishes from my mother in law that she got from the hospital she retired from when they built a new one. Come to find out they were ironstone restaurant bone dishes used in the hospital kitchen. We tried and tried to sell them in garage sales, with no luck. Well, now I’m glad they didn’t, because I proudly display them in my kitchen and I think my mother in law would be happy. Thank you for sharing that story and your experiences with us!
*Oh, what a funny and charming story, Yvonne❣️ Thank you SO MUCH for sharing the picture of the butter pats. I about DIED when you said they talked about using them for skeet shooting or breaking them up for mosaic projects‼️🙉 OH NO‼️🙈*
Oh you are so sweet and all your followers love you!! It was so nice that a couple of them gifted you some darling things!! Loved the article and your happiness while you were reading/telling her story!! One of the many reasons I love your channel!!!
I have a great idea for all those butter pats! My mind immediately envisioned beautiful floral transfers on those, i think they would sell in a heartbeat! Could be used as ring/jewelry dishes & be adorable.
I've been using butter pats for about 30 years for teabag holders...ha! I also have one...just like the rose ones you showed today, next to my bed holding a cough drops...❤
I didn’t know the little dishes were called butter pats until I watched you! I have been using one to keep my rings in while I was dishes. I thought it was part of a primitive tea set!!!
The story was so funny. I didnt know what butter pats were till I starting watxhing UA-cam. And I am 65 , so where have I been. Lol I had a good idea but wasn't sure. I enjoyed the video. TFS
Ahh! What a great article! Too funny!! You always make me smile! I love your videos! That spool cabinet is amazing! Hi to Tater, little cutie pie! Prayers to you and your family 😊
What a funny story with the "butter pats". Wish I was there so I could purchase some. Tater loves to get into the video. He is a beautiful kitty...so is Peaches. Thank you for sharing!!
I can understand not staying for any longer at that auction. then on to your other treasures, the spool box is beautiful. and Deb, crow pie, so darn cute. then sharing the story about the butter pats, such a surprise. yes, certianly, it is a process , And also watching others and pintrest. I had never seen a pie crust vintage mirror, until i saw a youtube thrifter find one , she was like, i already have one , but for 9,99 , i will pick it up... I can't find them anywhere so far, except ebay , but for 70$....Thank you again for sharing, love your vidoes, and your kitty cats . Take care
I watched a U Tube best this week about a man who scored 4. Toats full of 18th century Blue and white Spode dishes. He shared the unboxing of the treasures. I was amazed at all the Odd serving pieces. A pickle serving dish and a slop something to putt tea grounds in when serving tea., and divided plates for each food to fit into and not touch each other. So much to learn!!! I collect watermelon glasses . Pink on top, green stems. I find one about every ten years or. So. Very rare. The hunt is such fun.
Love all your contents. I am envious of Lisa to be able to go down to the States and have the pleasure to meet you and other creators. I am also a Canadian would love to do that kind of trip. Also a former hairdresser now a crafter and do craft show. Wish we had buildings with booth that you could rent here on Vancouver Island BC. ❤
What a great story. It was so wonderful to hear you tell it and see you smile. I think you must be feeling a little better. I can't wait to see the next video. Take care, keep smiling,
Both my parents collected antiques so I grew up with them. The hard part is keeping up with the prices and what's popular. It seems "vintage" is more popular now but I like primitives. Loved the butter pat story!
“Ugly condiments dishes”😂. Oh wow that was a lot. The chest is absolutely gorgeous. It’s always fun to see your hauls. I can’t do my hauls anymore since I live with my daughter. Lol, I sneak a few in ever so often, as matter of a fact, I have some in the car to work with for fall bazaar at church. Happy shopping.😊❤
oh my, I absolutely love that crow on the candlestick Lisa made and brought to you. I would love to learn how to make one for myself at least. That story Diane wrote was really funny, especially since I can't find even one around here. And that spool cabinet you got was stunning. They are something I have always loved dearly and rarely see one. When I finally do find one the price is just outrageous, and way out of my budget. I fully understand why y'all walked out of that auction because as you were filming it didn't look like there was anything, or very few, vintage or old. Even though this haul as huge overall you got some really neat things - rusty, crusty metal bird baths and bird planter, galvanized planters, cast iron corn bread mold, old laundry basket, butter mold, plus many other terrific treasures. Overall, it looks like it was a great day. Those items you were gifted were all truly amazing. The little flags were so special - just adorable!
So enjoyed this video, some lovely finds and gifts, the spool cabinet is gorgeous and the "crow pie" was amazing, I simetimes can't believe what is now collectible that we threw away years ago but when you get to my age (78) you have seen a lot ! 😊❤
Love this video. In my stash of dishes I bought because I just loved them, I found three different sets of butter pats. Now, after watching you I know what they are.
Well here’s a good one. You know I love my Ironstone but I never heard of butter pats till I started watching you. So who knows how many times I’ve passed those butter pats not knowing what they were,😁 I do collect restaurant dinner ware. I got most of my collection from Goodwill back in late eighties n nineties. It’s hard to find now. They’re made as heavy as Ironstone. Speaking of Ironstone I do have quite a few of their soap dishes n sugar bowls. Back to you. I thought you n Chris did pretty good. Too bad about the auction. I would have left too. I love the galvanized tubs n the bird baths my favorites. I fell in love with your crow pie. Boy! Lisa is very good at making primitive items. I would like to try my hand at doing that pie. So stinken cute. It’s good that I caught you early this time. I’m always seeing you 13 hours later. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟🐈⬛🐈⬛🥰
Oh my goodness! Skeet shooting butter pats! That was funny, not sure I would have known what they were either back then! Love the sewing cabinet , absolutely gorgeous! And it was lovely meeting you and your son! You are most welcome for your little goodies! Had a great time down there, my mom wants to join next year!❤
Great haul again peeps! When I saw those butter pats I thought on here we go Chick will have all of them! :) Everyone loves you guys, that was so kind of her to bring you things. You had a very good day. God Bless. Hugs to both. Rebekah
Yvonne, this was one of the best videos I have seen from you. Why? Because you just shared so much of your personality and your normal life. Thanks for being you.
Wow. You went right past a lot of things I would have snapped up. All those small items are so easy to ship, and can go for a good price. But you probably look for different things than I do.
Oh my! My husband just came into the room asking what is going on that I’m say “oh my, Oh My, OH MY” about…… yep it’s when you held up the picture of the butter pats your friend thought were ugly condiment dishes. My laugh for the morning. Love watching your shows.
I love the rusty crusty things!❤ So glad you got good items!😊 Kudos to Deb for the sweet gifts!🎉Oh and the Canadian sweetheart, Lisa, gave you such sweetness!🎉 Wonderful story about butter pats!😊 Great that you can barter for some!😮 Thanks for sharing!❤
Even though you left the auction you still got some good items. That was really nice of Deb to send such sweet gifts and Lisa from Canada brought you some awesome items! The butter pat story was interesting. Barter away.
The story made me smile. My husband would have used the butter pats as clay pidgin. Lol. My kiddo bought me one of those birdbath for christmas one year. I love it. I just love actions and thrifting. Good to see Peach and Tater.
I enjoyed the butter pat story. I had never heard of them until I watched your channel! I was wondering if you have heard of individual salt cellars? Anyway, the set of bird baths is something wonderful with that gorgeous rusty, crusty patina. I love that pepper container. So neat that people send you things. You and Chris are so loved.
Butter pats. I had never heard of them until I started watching you. But they used them in a restaurant I worked at in the 60s. I don’t even remember if they were called anything. LOL I have heard this said many times, ‘One persons trash is another persons treasure’. I will keep my eye out for some.
Darling girl I look forward to your next video all the time! I am as far south as you are north. It is amazing how similar our gathering special finds are. I pray that you will take care of yourself and keep your beautiful personality healthy. God bless you and your family. Sherry from Alabama.
Would you have one of your stamps, like the marmalade ones, that you could stamp on those little tan condiment cups? How cute would that be! Maybe she would make you a deal on some to decorate!
Enjoyed this video. Just think if we all, as antiques dealers, could look into the future and know what would be good sellers. We’d probably be buying everything we saw. We all have “butter pat” stories to tell. Love your videos. Please keep them coming.❤️
I love the video, but I started laughing over that article. I think anybody who sells for retail ends up in a situation like that every once in a while, where we go what do I do with it and how many did I get.😂
I'm sitting here laughing out loud about the butter pats lol! Thanks so much for sharing the story!

Exactly what I would say! ❤
Agreed, lol@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney
I have a primitive crow found at a thrift store, his feet are old forks! Love your gifts from your viewer. You're a joy to watch.

Oh my gosh! The butter pats!!!😮❤❤❤
Oh my goodness Yvonne you the best my cheeks are hurting from laughing about the butter pats thank you so much for sharing your stories and ideas ❤😊
I have a great idea for all those butter pats! My mind immediately envisioned beautiful floral transfers on those, i think they would sell in a heartbeat! Could be used as ring/jewelry dishes & be adorable.
I had a similar thought, how about hand painting them with florals, birds and animals.
Passed soooo much great items...loved alot of the goodies. Love love the pony express leather bag. ❤
I've been using butter pats for about 30 years for teabag holders...ha! I also have one...just like the rose ones you showed today, next to my bed holding a cough drops...❤
We love you ❤

That was my second brass cowboy boot I’ve seen, I was a hands length away from the first and I still cry about it 😂
Well good to know there’s a market for it. You just never know when or what might come up again 🤗
I love wire baskets for display & in my craft room for different projects.
