I've enjoyed watching the old RS 1,2, and 3 missions these past few days. My dad loved playing the n64 rogue squadron. He wasnt able to really play the gamecube sequels. But he could get the n64 running and have fun.
There's another one nearby on the right side of the starting location. So two missile turrets, though the one right in front is the one that locks on to you immediately.
The trick to the missile batteries is they can only lock onto you if you are at an altitude equal to or higher than them when they are launching. If you hug the ground, the launchers have a harder time locking on.
did this game have the same infinite lives cheats that Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike had? cause if so, it would make these levels a WHOOOOOLE lot easier.
if only the tie interceptor was as fast as the a wing in this game, it would have being the best fighter. To bad it was slow and could not outrun missels
The A-wing was the fastest fighter during this time in Star Wars. The Intercepter came VERY close, but had the advantage of absolute maneuvering. I mean, they could fly LITERAL circles around a X-Wing at full speed
This was the only level in the game where I had to turn it off. I thought the lava level's missile launchers were hard but this was all sorts impossible.
+Voshon Ward (Masterv123) Way 1: Obtain all silver medals to win the TIE Interceptor, the when you select craft press up when you go to the Millenium Falcon. Way 2: Password TIEDUP. If you don't have the Millenium Falcon, to unlock it is the FARMBOY password.
I really hate what SW: Rebels did to the Sentinel Landing craft. It went from being this reinforced, tough as nails craft to a poorly armed and armored joke.
Seerdon: You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought.
Only a true Jedi can complete this mission in a tie interceptor
I agree. While I could use the tie interceptor not for this mission. For me I would use either the X-wing, V-wing, or the Naboo star fighter.
I hate the missions where there's that one tie interceptor that always follows you and shoots the fuck out of you.
Only a Moff would challange a star fighter with a FUCKING TRANSPORT
He probably had a retrofitted one, with those annoying seeker missiles and that thick layer of armor.
HiddenWen
It was a heavily modified Sentinel-Class landing craft shuttle indeed.
Thanks for the info.
+chriscos123 Why did i think of Kilran from SWtor? :P
He should have flown the Landing Craft featured in Search for the Nonnah... He'd have won.
Thanks cap
If Luke didn't respawn, he'd have won.
Who fly that and which landing craft??

Moff Seerdon and the indestructible Heavy Lander from mission3.

3:45 The fact that you were able to destroy that AT-ST without taking out that bacta container is nothing short of a miracle. Good job overall though.
I didn't realize how powerful those TIE/IN lasers were! I also always forget how fun this game was.
You know I quite liked Kasan Moor. Why the heck didn't they bring her back in more games? Such a waste!
maybe they never wanted to bring back the character without Olivia Hussey
?
I hated this level, I passed it with the V Wing for the gold medal. The multiple missiles are very handy against Moff Seerdon.
Nice vid on what was the hardest level for me in the game. Took me forever to get through it.
Especially in a TIE
"Watch out for those Bacta containers."
You might underestimate the power of a shuttle in combat...
...then get blown to pieces by it!...
Spawn start in front of missile turret. Classic.

i missed this game so much...too bad it can't work with a Windows 7 64-bit system
Had to use the infinite lives cheat to beat this. The missile turrets combined with the interceptors was too much.
Fr. I fucking hate this level. Tried like 15+ times but i just used the cheat at the end.

It took me almost two years to complete all levels. The A wing is the best fighter in my view. Great game, but also frustrating from time to time.
ugh......... the Moff Seerden levels were pure hell.
eh sullust was way worse
did this game have the same infinite lives cheats that Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike had? cause if so, it would make these levels a WHOOOOOLE lot easier.
kingofmonsters14 yes, i'm pretty sure its "IGIVEUP"....sick fuckers got a sense of humor
yeah, and i think Rogue or Rebel's is WIMPIAM - Wimp I Am.
Raid on Sullust was a lot worse
I Like Tie Interceptor.
Geez, this mission is hard enough
And you beat it in a TIE
You kill tie fighters= they "scream" like a biach
QuasarBooster YAAEYAAAAAEEEEEIIIIIII _crash_
How did he die? I replayed several times and I still can't tell.
+Mene Tekel The seeker missile on the lower right hand corner of the screen curved into him thus taking him out.
if only the tie interceptor was as fast as the a wing in this game, it would have being the best fighter. To bad it was slow and could not outrun missels
Especially when the TIE Interceptors are supposed to be fast
They are in the lore, come close to the speed of the A wing but don’t surpass it
The A-wing was the fastest fighter during this time in Star Wars. The Intercepter came VERY close, but had the advantage of absolute maneuvering. I mean, they could fly LITERAL circles around a X-Wing at full speed
Such a great game
Getting a gold medal on all levels took me a year.
Finding out about secret levels took me 7 a decade.
Why did Moff Seerdon bother to transmit his death wail to Luke?
This was the only level in the game where I had to turn it off. I thought the lava level's missile launchers were hard but this was all sorts impossible.
5:49
Luke: GAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!
Moff Seerdon: Behold Rogue Squadron, the remains of your commander! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! 😈😈😈
And I just keep getting reminded of why I prefer Mario Kart 64!
I fuckin hate this level XD
@luigi64master I will agree with you mate.
2:21.; What'd he say?
you just destroy everything with that interceptor. how do you unlock it?
+Voshon Ward (Masterv123)

MysteriousSide Thx man, Now i just need to get my rom working cus my cartridge for my 64 died on me ....
