I managed to purchase one on the "used" market, but it was brand new.
I have two Omega's, a Glashutte Original, Nomos and numerous other watches... this one is among my favorites!
Love not only the spinning rotor, but the drivers watch feature (how you read the time on the 6 o'clock edge), crown position at 12 o'clock, case made of tempered glass...
What's not to love! It really is a very unique watch.
It's also surprisingly comfortable to wear! Yea, it won't tuck under a dress shirt, but I'm not wearing any dress shirts these days.

It's a real eye catcher and a great looking watch, just last month they did a new lottery for the new release of it . You are right the outer crystal is mineral glass not sapphire like I stated in the video I got that wrong Shel

I think only the top is sapphire, the side is mineral crystal.

Sorry do you mean the MADs being 9 series John ?
The blue was the first this model apart from being blue it also had a different crown and strap fitted, There is talk that next year they maybe releasing another run of watches but cant say for sure
