Even though these shows are over 10 years old, I look forward to each episode. Not only are Kirstie and Phil quite knowledgeable about real estate, they have fantastic personalities. They are great for putting many smiles on my face, 😂😂, more like laughter.
I love seeing a grown up man with his mom. Warms my heart to see how he treated her with such respect and love. He's a credit to her. Thanks for the upload, more, please!
The requirement for room when family comes to visit, is something I don't get. I admit my family isn't close so that might be why I don't get it. In my mind family comes for a meal, or if they stay over, it's once a year at Christmas. Contemplate the room as an office or storage first. Those are spaces you're gonna use daily not just once or twice a year. If you can fit a fold-away bed (like the woman says at the 17:20 ish mark is what they have now), then what's wrong with that? Do people want their family staying for weeks and months?? That's a roommate or a lodger. I cannot contemplate a space where you are having such a revolving door of guests that you think a single sized extra room isn't enough space.
I agree. I think young couples tend to buy into scenarios that they think are correct, rather than what actually works for them. Murphy Bed units are very functional. Pull out convertible couches and day beds work as well...for the occasional guest. Why is it so difficult to think outside the box? As an aside...my family is close but most of us choose a hotel room to bed down in after a great day of conversation, drinks and good food..but that's us.
Sad you’re not close to your family. I’m Irish and we have family to stay very often. Weddings/funerals/holidays we are always putting up someone or 3 from family and love it. So do absolutely understand 🍀
Yes, but location, location, location. Bedfordshire is a lot less desirable.. That’s why the houses there are cheaper and nicer than other nearby counties.
What a feel-good show! The bonus is real-life talk about "present wants, future needs." Indeed, how DOES one envision the completely unknown future? Making plans based on salary -- what if you lose your job? Choosing location based on child care -- what if you remain childless? And what about staying together as a couple at all?
hang on, they are moving to be closer to his mum, so she can help with the kids... But they haven't ASKED her yet whether she wants to help with any potential grand kids?!????
Sure wish each episode was clearly dated! It’s annoying, given the speed at which the property market changes. And please, can we get new episodes? With production dates clearly visible, please.
Except they did buy the houses though. I remember looking up one of the houses from an earlier episode, and it was, indeed, purchased around the same time the episode would have been filmed. It just seems like a whole lot of trouble to go through to just film an episode with random actors. Like this is a house hunting show. It's not worth faking, lol.
I think it was just the shot flattening perspective. There were probably some steps in the front garden going down to the house. But I must admit , it did look odd, just seeing half the windows, like the house had sunk into the ground.
Why do people feel entitled to open wardrobes and cupboards instead of focusing on room size, etc. Cupboards are rarely for sale and it's so intrusive to look inside them
If the wardrobe and cupboards are built ins then the buyers have every right to look inside them to see what amount of storage they might be getting if they purchase the property. If they are stand alone wardrobes, then, certainly do not look inside them.
You do know the name of the show, right? lol The house itself isn't the only thing to consider. It's also the location and the proximity to the things you want and need. This is especially the case with Liz and Neil since the whole reason for the move was to be near his family. And, also, the value of the homes they purchased are certainly much higher than the houses even though they are much nicer and larger, largely because they are in less desirable locations.
"If you're living in the city center, then you can walk to shops and restaurants and the train station." No duh, sweetie, lol. We don't need you to tell us that. God, lol.
I think it must be a generational thing, because I think Kirstie, who has a "full figure", knows how to wear clothes that are flattering to her figure. I love her dresses! I wish I had to nerve and cash to wear colourful dresses like hers.
I watch many house hunting programmes but these two add cheer and positivity to this one. Love them
I agree. My favorite house hunting show.
Even though these shows are over 10 years old, I look forward to each episode. Not only are Kirstie and Phil quite knowledgeable about real estate, they have fantastic personalities. They are great for putting many smiles on my face, 😂😂, more like laughter.
me too
Triple that!!!! 😃
I love Phil and Kirstie together! Living in Canada, I also really enjoy seeing the UK countryside and lifestyle. Great show :)
Her sister does a show in Canada, also about real estate, called The Unsellables (Canada) - definitely worth a watch
I love seeing a grown up man with his mom. Warms my heart to see how he treated her with such respect and love. He's a credit to her. Thanks for the upload, more, please!
I love Kirstie and Phil….they do such a great job, and I love their personalities! Such a great show!
I love seeing the UK properties, and Phil and Kirstie, unlike their US counterparts, are two likable people who like and respect each other.
Brilliant guidance once again from Kirstie and Phil. One day, these househunters will look back and realize K & P anticipated their needs to a tee.

I come from a close family and yes sometimes we would stay a couple of weeks or so. Plus children staying over, friends etc.
The last house in Tring was fabulous!
England is so pretty beautiful place to live. It is awesome when everyone is happy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💓💚🥰🤗
I wouldn’t go so far as to say people are happy but the architecture is varied and characterful for sure, compared to say the ex colony countries.
They have such beautiful outside areas!
Slip End was fantastic. Way more characterful and polished than that house in St Albans.
Yes, but location, location, location. Bedfordshire is a lot less desirable.. That’s why the houses there are cheaper and nicer than other nearby counties.
Great episode
I love Phil and Kirstie. And I grt to see some of the beautiful countries in the world.
Yes, the U.K. is made up of some very beautiful countries ... partial to Scotland myself ...
Kirsty's yellow shoes😮
Love this show and these two. If I move to England they would definitely be my brokers
To gems from Phil. ‘I can do deals if you can make decisions’ - and then of course…him bouncing on the trampoline 😀
I agree, but I cringed when I saw Phil bouncing on the trampoline in his shoes.
Two...
Lovely show. Love a great result.

Excellent episode!
Let me put it this way: Clairly very, very beautiful... to say the least!
I love these shows and I watch the same show several times . I am from AMERICA and I like seeing the houses in the UK. ❤
24:24 cat purrrrrrrrr
Kirsty’s couple - How can he be younger than she is? He looks so much older 😮
His jeans are a giveaway
hang on, they are moving to be closer to his mum, so she can help with the kids... But they haven't ASKED her yet whether she wants to help with any potential grand kids?!????
Well, I think if they have a good relationship, it's just assumed the parent would be willing to help out. It would be nice to ask, of course.
I love watching these.
Yesssss 💯
Dave's a solid guy.
Que se considera "un dormitorio de buen tamaño" en el Reino Unido?
Hi from the UK, many houses here have 1 or 2 double or king sized rooms, and the extra is a box room, barely room for a single bed. Hope that helps 😊
Phil and Kirsty always pull the rabbit out of the hat. It’s always a tough one, they keep telling us! Mi!
Sure wish each episode was clearly dated! It’s annoying, given the speed at which the property market changes. And please, can we get new episodes? With production dates clearly visible, please.
Here’s the problem, like you said the market changes so rapidly that even the newer ones are outdated. You might as well enjoy the older ones.
And i do bot know the area…than go live there and you will!
Nice show and actors playing couples look real
Except they did buy the houses though. I remember looking up one of the houses from an earlier episode, and it was, indeed, purchased around the same time the episode would have been filmed. Tring house--is it underground??? Weird
I think it was just the shot flattening perspective. There were probably some steps in the front garden going down to the house. But I must admit , it did look odd, just seeing half the windows, like the house had sunk into the ground.
Neil looks older than Liz. Imo
Important to be near family??
Why?
It can be good te be further away!!
Sad. On your deathbed you aren't going to say that you wish you had spent more time at your accounting job. Living to work, or working to live?
Ah, they're young, I think we all wanted to work hard to climb up the ladder. Once they have kids, their priorities will change.
oh, I thought it was (generally women) moaning as life ended ... 'If only I had spent more time hoovering' ... NO one has ever said ...
Why do people feel entitled to open wardrobes and cupboards instead of focusing on room size, etc. Cupboards are rarely for sale and it's so intrusive to look inside them

Both couples are crazy to give up better houses. In 2 years they will kick themselves…
You do know the name of the show, right? lol The house itself isn't the only thing to consider. It's also the location and the proximity to the things you want and need. I LOVE these. This one, however, with the hyped up background music, is giving me a stomach ache.
Are you sure it wasn't a quick glance in a mirror?
@@randychase305 you must be SO unhappy!
Neil is a mummy's boy
Claire, dear, get real
"If you're living in the city center, then you can walk to shops and restaurants and the train station." No duh, sweetie, lol. We don't need you to tell us that. God, lol.
Kirsty get rid of all ugly shoes
The first couple are very strange people'
Get a life!
Kirsty dress sense is not good lol
You think? I kinda like her old fashioned sense of fashion.. but I'm 'mature'🤔
Agree, but weren't Liz'sdresses just gorgeous.
Yes her proportions don't work with a short skirt
I think it must be a generational thing, because I think Kirstie, who has a "full figure", knows how to wear clothes that are flattering to her figure. I love her dresses! I wish I had to nerve and cash to wear colourful dresses like hers.
This is not a dress show and clothing is a personal style. Focus on the point at hand which is finding houses.
