Your advice is top-notch. Anyone who watches this channel, please take note of what Lee says. He gives great info and advice on cars. If I needed a car, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from the car pitch. Pure honesty and great advice...
Very enjoyable channel, perhaps because I was selling and trading for many years. I have more trust and faith in a good used car dealer than I do in a main dealership these days, this comment based entirely on experience. Bought a new car in 2017 from a main dealer, terrible prep, lied about the car, appalling after sales service, why bother? Keep up the good work Lee, I think your attention to detail is a big part of your success, all the best for 2025.
As a now retired dealership owner enjoy watching your videos which do bring back so many old very old but happy memories. I can guarantee you will become even more successful. Keep them coming & good luck for 2025 happy new year to you all.
I know that even at best you will only ever get a limited percentage of them, but do any dealerships set up their workmanship and after sales service standards so that they are not so much selling the first car they sell, a customer, but selling the lack of hassle and getting the customer to think of them first? I've only ever bought one new and two 2/3-year-old cars. Some of the service was abysmal, though, including an insurance repair where the paint job was so bad Stevie Wonder could have seen it was wrong (lumps and particles in the finish). You accept there might be some non insurance covered incidentals, but I'm pretty certain that I lost the coolant when the guy pulled a U-turn in front of the car, so it was an insurance item. My sister and her husband have bought probably more than half a dozen cars from the same trader who is local to them. Never any problems, and I think you get less bothered about price when you know you won't have any problems. Do many dealers trade that way?
I’m sure great prosperity will continue at The Car Pitch !. Lee’s priorities are always reliably correct, with a few tweaks next year, it should go from strength to strength. I’ve often thought that a larger premises with much more garage facilities would be the next stage. But this is dependent on cash flow I guess.
How lucky are the locals to you to have a rare commodity on their doorstep! A genuine car trader!! Keep up the good work and look forward to sharing 2025 with you. Thank you Lee 2024 it has been a good year for us mere mortals watching your channel .
like the videos Lee, and good to watch the business grow.....would love to see some car repair stuff in detail, what's wrong, diagnosis, and the fixing process ...only for the project cars like engine re-rebuild, as obviously doing this would take a lot more effort and organising. ...
Keep up with the good work. Try and get your stress levels down by shifting most of those dead cars. Congratulations, by the way, on winning "best new dealership." Keep smiling and look forward to 2025.
Merry Christmas Lee and a Happy New Year. May it be prosperous and full of joy with Gateman!!! May 2025 keep the man on bike, suitcase lady and lemon 500's well away from your pitch 😂
An absolutely fantastic watch.....i used to have the same enthusiasm in the late 80's- early 90's,selling cars from my door. All the best Lee......wishing you a very successful 2025 🍻👍
All the older stuff is always more simple and more reliable so that says something about modern stuff and where they are going wrong... Thoroughly enjoyed watching you through out the year and long may it continue!!! Have yourself a great 2025!
The old TU engine in the Peugeot made me smile. I friend of mine had one in a 206 and put 200k on it working all over the country. It was going great up until it hit a deer.
You certainly know what you're on about and are honest and genuine. There's an awful lot of prep you do on the cars, which probably puts you in a small minority - one of the genuine good guys. That should pay you back in repeat business over the coming years and punters coming through personal recommendations. I would say you need the place clean and tidy; it doesn't need to be anything like those multi million pound palaces main dealers work from these days - they actually put me off, as clearly all the fancy fixtures and fittings are paid for by punters in the price of the cars. All the best for '25!
Thank you for such a transparent view of your world , the vision for next year sounds spot on along with the fact that as we get closer to 2030 with the Lecky's my limited knowledge predicts you are in the right place at the right time . Great viewing
Congrats, Lee, on a successful 2024 & hope you continue the same way next year! In my opinion you are a great advert for small motor trade businesses up & down the UK & I certainly would consider purchasing an older & well maintained vehicle from you rather than from a main dealer if need be! Happy New Year & get well soon! 🥳👍
You are nice bloke . Very honest trader . One step at time my mate . Rome wasn't built in day . I enjoyed watching your UA-cam channel. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤ and happy new year to you and all your staff.
Lee, thanks for this years content. It has been interesting, informative and on occasions amusing. There needs to be more dealers like you out there who is totally customer focussed. What a lovely thing you did for that lady who originally bought the Clio. All parents buying a first car for their kids should make a beeline to your door because they will be happy in the knowledge that the cars has been prepared correctly and will give good service. Looking forward to the spruce up of the office, removing those “dead” cars, a valeting area and the team building away day posts.
Well done Lee. Right on the knowledge there. I had three cars over 30 years all with the 1.4 TU engine. No primary trouble at all. Many happy miles powered by the TU. Never let me down or missed a beat. Low internal friction design with very short piston skirts. Great design for the time. After that I went electric as so many modern ICEs seem to be troublesome. The engineer in me knows complexity or stressed performance equals trouble. The kicker in the end with the TU was the VED because it was rated as quite high on its CO2 emissions being an older design. I gave up when it went past £180 a year for just 65 bhp. Now £0 VED for 170 bhp. One of the pluses for going electric. Have a great year ahead. Hold on to your customers, with good ongoing contact to get that valuable repeat business. Coffee machine for the customers in the office when they are signing up?
Greetings from New Zealand. Enjoy your break. Great wrap up of the year. I think your honesty and self-awareness is a model for anybody aspiring to succeed in their own business.
Cracking vlog Lee, perfect amount of information delivered with a light touch of humour were appropriate! Keep doing what you are doing and your fortunes will only go one way, so refreshing to see youtube as a side show, others could learn much from your modus operandi and not endlessly bore the balls of you with figures, it's enough for us to know you're thriving, not by how much! Top man!
Don't stop what you're doing Lee, you're a decent bloke selling honest cars and catering for a market that a lot of dealers won't go near when there is clearly a market for the sub 5K car. Yes, presentation is important but not at the expense of a quality service. People see past all the gloss and bullshit and most folks would rather have value for money and good after sales service over a freshly ground cup of Coffee and today's papers to read whilst waiting for their car to be repaired and better still leave a few oily finger marks on so that you can see the car has at least been worked on. Take a well earned break and a merry Christmas to you and yours and the rest of the team. Look forward to the channel offerings in 2025 - always a great watch.👍🙂
A big banner advertising the company along the back wall might be an idea. It would cover up, what looks like two boarded up windows. That's if the owner of the wall are ok with it.
semi retired car dealer here , lee just make sure theres no trip hazards on your pitch, bag of tarmac at wickes a tenner, hammer it down with a bit of wood, a customer once said to me "do it all mate" i reminded him the cost would increase the sticker price in the window, which they overlook 😉 . I would possibly put valeter undercover in the spot where you have the dead corner if feasible (top right from front) water run off, cables, and noise would be away from workshop / office ? Have you considered a service of bring it back in a year and we will take it for mot and service it ? Only the cars youve sold ! i did it and a lot of locals did come back, adds up at end of year, and at point of sale it adds a lot of confidence , i recomend you print a voucher with details and price though as one returning customer thought it was free 😮😅. Try and loose the "temporary " banners if you can, i hate them 😊 And if your tidying workshop up dont buy any floor paint off the back of a van 🤐😅 it set my mate back a month from opening, it didnt dry 😅 i know your not daft mate and i wish you all the best, just a few ideas for you 👍 see you soon, ( driver at g3 )😊
Had a 2002 106 quiksilver with that same 1.4tu engine as my second car back in 2010! Can't believe they where still using the same engine in 2012 motors! Was quiet nippy in the 106 tbf 75hp iirc
Thank you for the entertainment in 24, so good and always looking forward to the next one, love the auctions, your approach and footage is unrivalled so can’t see anything other than success, delighted for you Lee. All the best.
Sounds like you're on the right track. Reminds me of Chops Garage who keeps off higher value vehicles because it often involves finance companies who can be a real pain when customers try to reject cars months down the road. Maybe try the odd small van?
Love the channel and the videos. I think you’re fairly unique in the motor trade as you are offering well prepped cars at the lower end of the market with decent after sales. Times are very tough financially out there for most people, I think you could be sitting on a little gold mine keeping on as you are.
Happy Xmas & New year Lee , you know the market Lee cheap half decent run abouts. You could no doubt sell far more expensive cars but cheap run abouts will always sell were £10,000 plus due to the market could be very much hit & miss..I think a lot of car dealers buy far more expensive cars that they would drive rather than knowing the market & retailing much cheaper motors . Have you thought about having the Car Pitch having it's own website pages. All you will have to pay is for it settling unless you or a family member can do it. I don't use Facebook I'm too old now I do look at local garages that have their own websites I also look at Chops with his CG car sales website as you 2 are the only 2 I watch regularly.
Been watching you Lee for a few years now and you always come across as a very honest chap, Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year wish you well for 2025 look forward to watch more good stuff 👍
Great update, busy month and selling a lot of cars. Hopefully next year you can do some auction videos further afield, would make great content, check out wilsons car auctions, you need a whisky, kill those bugs,😂, merrier Xmas.
Been watching since virtually day 1 (320d estate) and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey, something told me this was going to be an excellent channel. I wasn't wrong, you've done brilliant in 2 years in both business and the channel, onward and upward. Merry Christmas to one and all and wishing you a fab 2025.
You seem a genuine person, which is a rare thing in the motor trade, good luck for 2025.
AMEN to that !!!
Not many traders/dealers like him around. Lee keeps his cool,he's profesional & deals with the public/customers nicely.
He is very genuine
Your advice is top-notch. Anyone who watches this channel, please take note of what Lee says. He gives great info and advice on cars. If I needed a car, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from the car pitch. Pure honesty and great advice...

Thank you for keeping me entertained all year, through a difficult time in my life
no worries Larry, all the best for next year and hope it’s a better one for you. 👍👍Lee

🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well you certainly look like one of the rare people in the car trade that you can trust, keep the good work up for 2025 👍😎
I'm always more interested in the trust I have in the person selling to me than the aesthetics.
Great coming along for the ride with you Lee. So like your honesty too. Just make sure you have a lovely break. Merry Christmas 👍👍👍

Keep up with the good work. Try and get your stress levels down by shifting most of those dead cars. Congratulations, by the way, on winning "best new dealership." Keep smiling and look forward to 2025.

Hi mate, you keep mentioning in your videos about doing the underseal?
What does that involve & rough cost please. Thank you Chris
well done! you are supplying cars at a low price to people who would otherwise have to buy privately.
Wonderful to hear your end of year summary and plans - lots of nice to have versus need to have decisions! Wishing you a successful 2025!
Merry christmas to you all ... cracking honest video as always ... peace, love and best wishes
That’s a winning business ethic Lee - customer satisfaction a priority. That way in 2,3 or 5 years time they’ll return.
Happy Christmas Lee. Hope the lurgi had passed. I would love to but a cheap motor from you. Excellent business model!

Happy Xmas & New year Lee , you know the market Lee cheap half decent run abouts.
