I recently flew Icelandair RT from BWI to see the Northern LIghts. I think they have a great mid range product. Professional operation. Great people working the flights. Comfortable and affordable.

@@robertmaher184 We did on the first of two tries. It was on a boat and wasn't looking promising but just after getting out of a rain storm, we had a great show. Tried a bus trip a couple days later with no luck. Wish I was there tonight, likely to be a great show if not cloudy which is a problem. Next winter is supposed to be an active solar year I'm told. It is an amazing sight.

It was fine. I would even recommend Icelandair. The biggest downside is the time difference. Arriving in Reykjavik at 6:30 am, it's 1:35 am Chicago time and that impacts on you. Crew are friendly and it was best value for money.
