I wasn't criticizing Air Serbia's operational strategy as two flights a day demonstates a commitment to maintaining connectivity. My comments was based on market share data, where Wizz Air holds 62% and Air Serbia has 0.05%, highlghting the scale difference between the two airlines servingTirana. Thanks for your insights. Interesting they can adjust the business class seating based on demand. Shows flexibility.

@@robertmaher184 Hi, thanks for the response. I didn't think you criticized it, I was just trying to say that they have different operational models. Wizzair establishes itself in various cities and then maintains operations from them (they have 3 or 4 aircraft in Belgrade too, as far as I remember) while Air Serbia is a much more centralized airline operating mainly, if not only, out of Belgrade.

My experience was that customer facing staff had a more direct way of communication compared to New Zealanders, it wasn't 'can-do'. It's as if people's attitude reflected years of economic hardship, my perception .

The announcement was fully OK and the small airline is also fully OK. I am not flight attendant but aviation fan and regular passenger, so trust me, much "larger" airlines like KLM or Lufthansa are complete joke. Bulgaria air lands, takes off and flies and has no cancelled flights like the "biggest" first class companies. I can read large amount of negative comments about BG Air but most of the people never had the chance to fly with them. Most likely you are one of this people. Or ass...oles like Josh Cahill paid by airlines to post negative comments. My last flight was with LZ-LON, the aircraft in the video, so brand new with friendly and polite staff.

So much ignorance in one comment.

In New Zealand, people in customer-facing roles are generally helpful and go out of their way, which was the opposite experience in Bulgaria. My attempt to understand these cultural differences may have come across as uninformed and/or lacking understanding. if years of economic hardship have nothing to do with it, then I guess I unfortunately just met a few rude people, which is a pity. Did you have a different experience or just hold a different viewpoint you can share?

Did you see the northern lights?

@@robertmaher184 We did on the first of two tries. It was on a boat and wasn't looking promising but just after getting out of a rain storm, we had a great show. Tried a bus trip a couple days later with no luck. Wish I was there tonight, likely to be a great show if not cloudy which is a problem. Next winter is supposed to be an active solar year I'm told. It is an amazing sight.
