The iconic Hanumanthu Hotel in Mysuru is famous for its mutton pulav that patrons relish from six am each morning! The restaurant, now looked after by the second and third generation, father-son duo of, Parmesh and Vishal cooks all its food on firewood.
In this episode of Gourmet On The Road, we get an exclusive insider access to the kitchens of this legendary establishment and a closer look at how their iconic mutton pulav is made. Aside from the generous serving of Mutton Pulav, Food Lovers’ Editor Kripal Amanna samples some Mutton Boti and a plate of Mutton Chops.
This restaurant, part of Mysore’s rich culinary history is a must-visit!

Karnataka has such a rich cuisine. It doesn't get the attention it deserves because of the lack of channels like yours. The mix of Kannada in your English is like the beautiful mix of spices in the dishes that you show us.
You are right.. it is not marketed properly.... this is karthick from tamil nadu
correction: Karnataka has Kripal Amanna. before ppl. get offended, I am from Karnataka. and i love the cuisine. what we need is a clone of Kripal from each state who can explore and share the cuisine from their state on YT
Because of heavy migration karnataka losing its authenticity in all aspects very sad to see those negative changes

I always like mutton pulao which is really awesome while eating.I tried this recipe in my home and the taste was amazing.
Became a huge fans for ur way of explaining the taste's of the dishes with an interesting voice and awful lovely facial expressions.... 😍 😍
Love from Andhra Pradesh ❤️ ❤️
Kripalji, Impressed by your videos & presentation. This for me is one of the best review. I liked the bits of interaction in Kannada. Of course Hanumanthu is a legendary eatery famous for its pulav & mutton dishes. Hot piping pulav with succulent meat that falls of the bone. You have to eat it ASAP as the meat tends to get hard & rice gets dry after a while.
A word of appreciation from my end to your cameraman & crew who make these videos look amazing.
Thank you MNazar. Grateful for your kind words!
The best muton pulav I have ever had I had mutton pulav at 7 am in this hotel
such a brilliant presentation. you are the best food vlogger
My one like because of you are doing interview in Kannada 😍😍
Quality of Mutton determines the Quality of the Dish, Mutton looked Brilliant 👍
Im living in mumbai now n i miss my mysore tastiest food
I eat there on every visit to Mysuru. Totally delightful pulav and the mutton chops also are delicious. So juicy and soft and so many mutton pieces. Amazingly satisfying meal.
this is one of the best pulav ive ever had. yesterday i went at 7 am to eat and the place was already crowded . every morsel of the rice was perfectly flavored. no one spice overtook the flavor . also the meat was so buttery and juicy. i would love to go to that place everyday . love from udupi . service is also great
One of the best biryani I had, easily we can have 2 biryanis
I love the way you explain every item definitely I M gonna test one time ,😋😋😋

Finally a food blogger who is focusing on content other than those chocken butter masala and naan. A request dont limit your content to only southindian delicacies. Our country has such diverse cuisines, and each of them need equal attention. Just a thought.
Our intent is to cover the length and breadth of this country, Amarjeet. 🙏
