- For this video I scrounged all around the internet to bring you what is the 2nd Story Expansion for Dying Light 2. Like I said there's a lot of information out there so I did my best to get the big picture but let me know what I missed!

A military plane? Hmmm that would be badass to introduce a new faction such as an Enclave style Army faction that locked itself away in seclusion. Seeing helicopters and aircraft back in the skies doing airdrops along with having a new faction choice would be great. I really wish they’d allow us to join the colonel and his renegades.. It’s such bullshit they were basically entirely scrapped.
After fully reading the script they have some wacky stuff planned.... I didn't want to spoil to much in the video though
It’s probably related to the New Order somehow, Aiden mentions them at the beginning of the game when Hakon shows you the PK for the first time

@@ivan5604 Does he? All he says is he has seen people like the peacekeepers before but that doesn't imply that he actually met members of a large faction out there.
It's not out of the question though however as far as we know Villedor is the last remaining city. America could be in an entirely different situation but who knows.

3:43 It has already been confirmed that he was never a Nighthunter. The leaks confirmed everything. He was a sentient volatile that later on evolved into a new sentient Infected called the beast where he transforms himself at will. He was a sentient volatile the whole time.
Is it confirmed in the script he controls it at will now? Other wise you would think he would be the same as the mother

guys guys guys the new updates quest has aiden talking, they wouldnt have flewn jonah from usa all the way to poland to record voicelines, he is there to record voicelines for dlc2 which means we will see it soon.
I was thinking the same thing. I'm hoping the reason guns took so long was because the team were already working on dlc2 which could mean a release this year.
you made me realize that military is never really mentionned in the second game apart from the GRE bullshit. Villedor could have stayed low by not having electricity but since you bring it back during the game it might catch the attention of some remaining governement army.
In the end I just hope they do something great story wise because this is not it so far
There will be human enemies with guns in dlc 2 also

In the DL2 Pre-order Comic Book, "Stories From The Dying City", the main characters leave some island in military helicopter off to Villedor. This could be them. The time frame makes sense.

Could be a "prequel" DLC to give us the information about how crane and spike got separated

Maybe a prequel dlc that takes place right in the red hot center of the fall

It would have been so cool if new expansion would return E3 city like the new Area
I've been waiting for this. The Tolga and Fatin mission was interesting. I'd love a Dying Light world where you could travel between surviving colonies, doing bounties, maybe even build your own shelter (yes, similar to Fallout). This series and Days Gone were my favorites and even my wife enjoyed watching me play the 3 of them and liked the story. Unfortunately, looks like Days Gone 2 may not happen. Another idea I thought would be cool is a bit of a prequel to Dying Light 2 where you're surviving the initial collapse of the world. Anyways, loved the information and look forward to whatever comes next.
A new city location not far from the main game's location's would be great complete with main quests, side quests and new weapons.
It would be great if they would fix the grappling hook.
Can't wait for the second DLC it will most likely by HUGE. Hope we will get it this year
Good to hear DLC is gonna be alot of fun! Plus with them recently adding guns, it would give them a reason to add an enemy faction with firearms so that the playerbase won't run rumpant with all the new firearms.
I wonder if the second dlc will finally fix the immersion breaking indoor rain lol man these devs have just given up on fixing that.
That's something I've noticed since day one and I'm shocked it hasn't been addressed yet 😂
for sure the arch and some other parts from elysium are coming back, maybe a " forgotten city " and the marshlands or swamp.

I think Elysium would be a good place to go because how they got it on there like cars still going you can jump on cars like that would be cool military is more straight with guns and everything else bandits are more dangerous than you can do more things and make it a little bit longer

when i first played through dl2 story and saw waltz and aiden turn back and forth into infected for small periods of time made me think that maybe crane was captured or that he was the insipiration for waltz's research. but to be fair i dont want crane to return. he did his thing and gave us an axcellent game and as far as i remember dr zere was still trying to find a cure for the virus during the following dlc which makes it non canon. it would be awesome to have crane as a final boss though where we put him out of his misery

It would be great if they add character creation to the game.
Maybe they could add a custom character for the community maps, that would be a good way of adding it

Remember that DLC2 was delayed 4 times already, its something unreal. Even Tower raid was delayed when it will be just a repeatable content that most people will probably do one time and leave the game until the next update.

wile i wish elysium would have been at launch,i dont want to see it as dlc2(1 lets face it),it would be booring to have basicaly another similar city as a big dlc,it needs to be something different,like the following was,im not saying another open field with no parkour,but...different,a forest could just be a section

With the way this games going i wouldn't be suprised if the next dlc is a fortnite crossover where all you do is grind for more neon skins.
I dont get why techland decided to just scrap Elysium fully. Makes no sense when they got assets and the zone idea plotted out. Like what does the location give some dev PTSD and they have to avoid it as much as possible or something

Yeah this game is doomed. There's no way they are actually doing such a script, only hope is that they rewrote it.
The leaks were a almost 2 years back they probably changed it already

It’s pretty scummy they marketed the game around the elysium district and then got mad at us for wondering where it was and if we’ll ever see what was promised
They removed the elyseum district because it was where most of the chris avellone story took place. They removed most of the story he wrote snd reworked it in a very small timeframe which is why the game had basically no ending on launch
