I agree with most of what he is saying . My wife and I have stayed there two times this year first time 5 days and second time 3 days . The only problem if you stay for a longer period of time the key card is a big issue , you just get one of them and if one person ie. want to go shopping and the other want to swim in the pool or anything else you have a problem to get accesses to the elevator or the condo without continues communication with the other person. This is a big issue , it will work for one day if two people are in 100% sync , but for 3 days or longer no no... A vending machine with refreshments/snacs in the lobby would also be great.

Great review. I was looking into this building a few days ago. The room and facilities look superb. I was shocked at that floor to ceiling window opening all the way up with no railings! 😦
Theres a glass barrier
Everything was great, but there is only one negative and that is the window that allows sky diving should anyone be inclined, or too inebritated to be under control and fancy some really fresh air.
A parachute or 2 might be worth putting in the storage fascilities otherwise all good.
Still in a state of shock at that window. Scary. Relieved to read that there was a glass barrier after all as it appeared to be sheer drop.

Hi Paul, first thing I noticed was how low the electricity ⚡ lines were! (I'm interested in pylons bit odd I guess 😂) A beautiful apartment well provisioned catering for all your needs and a clean, excellent standard (nice to do a bit of washing) That window 😮 my autonomic nervous system kicked in and my dark sense of humour crossed my mind but not the time or place. Downstairs some very strange artwork going on like the tree trunk crashing through the ceiling maybe it's symbolic. Serene infinity pool very calming. The price is out of this world, it would barely make a dent in your wallet! And you get so much for the money amazing! Wonderful place would love to stay! 😊 x
I like The Edge condo, location is great and facilities are fantastic. Self contained condo's are great for a break.
But Buyer beware! It is illegal in Thailand for anyone to be operating a hotel business without a license, and by Thai law, using a condo as a holiday rental (anything less than 30 days) without a license can get a fine or jail term in prison for the owner and even the traveler. Im surprised that Agoda etc have these condo complexes on thier websites.

There is a glass barrier between you and that full size window, so you all will be safe. But, maybe the should tint the protective barrier so folks can feel better.
Its fine probably doesn't show up as much on video but it's clear enough

Those fully opening floor to ceiling windows are certainly not for me! I know you said to look away, but I'm still getting over them. However, must say I love the background music you play on your videos. I'm guessing they are from a selection provided by UA-cam. Thank you again for your content.
It's a nice place in an excellent location. Good for a short-term holiday rent but too small for a long-term stay. The price is about right for a one night stay by Pattaya standards, but not particularly good value unless you're comparing it to Western prices. I'd maybe stay there on holiday if I could get a better monthly deal.

That price is amazing for an apartment, and presumably would be cheaper for a longer stay. Not sure I could cope with that window though, and I do not usually bother about heights. Glad you included another option to a hotel.
Yes, The Edge is cheap for the price. The Base condo a few yards away from the Edge, you can rent a condo for £25 a night. Although I prefer the Edge.
Very dangerous window ,apart from that,great price at 38,...very clean ,compact,but very usable.... excellent!!

And it’s not legal to rent a condo for less than 1 month in Thailand if get cot it’s a massive fine
Another fantastic value for money accommodation. You either love or hate Pattaya (personally I love it) but you definitely can't knock the prices and variety of the accommodation to suit all budgets.

I couldn’t get a room in my favourite hotel as it’s fully booked so staying at the Edge next March and it has cost me just over £27 a night for 16 nights. Wasn’t sure if I would like it staying here but this video has reassured me.

I experienced an earthquake at the Philippines, 22nd floor. It sucked walking down the stairs. Thats the only drawback, to a high rise building.

I thought there was laws in Thailand that prevented Condos from being rented out on short lets. Ony hotels can do it. I guess the passport information is required so the landlord can complete the TM30

Another shoebox. I gave up at the separate toilet. No hand basin in there.
£38 for a night in a beautiful modern room with sea views, en-suite, generous storage, comfortable bed, large TV with Netflix, seating area, fully equipped kitchen (inc washing machine), drying space, free use of a stunning gym, spacious lounge and incredible decked area with infinity pools. Yet, here you are 'giving up' due to the lack of a hand basin in the toilet. Sigh.

Its not longtime when i stay here 1 month and what can i say is its not worth it, there is better options in pattaya. Its pretty noisy all the time and daytime u need to wait elevators longtime. Yes its looks cool and its new but never again.

There's an end to end sheet glass barrier which acts as a railing. So whilst it is disconcerting, it's essentially safe.
