I've been wanting to go for ages but being single I also thought I couldn't go because it would just look strange. After all Maldives are known for being a honeymoon destination and couples vacation. never don't do anything just because you're scared of what other people might think. i usually travel solo, started as a backpacker decades ago and have been going to fancy resorts nowadays when there's an interesting spot en route. once you're used to and comfortable to eat alone (nobody really cares about you anyway) it's amazing in its own way - maybe don't book a 2 week trip at such resorts but go a few days in between other places. and yes, also thanks to momo for uploading his report!
We’ve been lucky enough to go to the Maldives & the islands are for everyone not just couples or honeymooners. Don’t not go just because you’re single because you’ll regret it.
Was going to say the seaplane terminal has changed an awful lot. We had to sit outside in the sun until the seaplane arrived & our pilot had bare feet.

my wife is sick with cancer, in fact she has already undergone chemotherapy and all that remains is surgery (she is ok, I believe she is cured) but her mind is brutally disturbed, it doesn't seem like it but it is and it is disturbing me too and your video helped me clear my mind she is like this because of medication she's not like that she gets angry but out of nowhere it goes away and that's how it is thank God I have my Xbox and videos like yours to relax I have faith in God that soon all this will pass and she and I will be in this place or in Bora Bora 😊 thx

I went to Maldives solo too, but in 2022. I cried when I got to the resort because it was my first real big international trip post pandemic and it was somewhere I always wanted to go! I would return again solo!

Used to be a big dream of mine to travel to Maldives..that beung said...all these videos are redundant and present the Maldives as really "Tourist' focused, lacking depth, and shallow, not offering more in this experience (that other overhyped/over priced hotels/tourist traps offer outside of the ocean/Island...
I was on a business trip to Thailand for a couple of weeks and decided to take a few days off and travelled to the Maledives alone. It was a great decision and an absolute amazing experience. I was snorkeling and swimming with sharks every day so I was never alone 😂 You never should wait for the right person to do anything.

With my first paycheck in my early twenties I also went to the maldives by myself, never been to an island before so wanted to at least see it once. Had a great time but 7 days was a bit too much as its still ... an island. I think 4 days or so would have been perfect

This place is still very disorganized it appears other than the rooms over the ocean. The trees are a mess. Compared to other Maldives places. Don’t appreciate the mandatory 45 sec commercials

Used to be a big dream of mine to travel to Maldives..that beung said...all these videos are redundant and present the Maldives as really "Tourist' focused, lacking depth, and shallow, not offering more in this experience (that other overhyped/over priced hotels/tourist traps offer outside of the ocean/Island...

I was on a business trip to Thailand for a couple of weeks and decided to take a few days off and travelled to the Maledives alone. It was a great decision and an absolute amazing experience. I was snorkeling and swimming with sharks every day so I was never alone 😂 You never should wait for the right person to do anything.

Beautiful island. I started watching other Maldives Videos just a few months ago and what a Paradise! Amazing Views. One day i will try to make it to one of the islands. Do you hear the Waters splashing around the Villa during the night? Or is it quiet while you're sleeping?

With my first paycheck in my early twenties I also went to the maldives by myself, never been to an island before so wanted to at least see it once. Had a great time but 7 days was a bit too much as its still ... an island. I think 4 days or so would have been perfect

This place is still very disorganized it appears other than the rooms over the ocean. The trees are a mess. Compared to other Maldives places. Don’t appreciate the mandatory 45 sec commercials
