This is my FAVOURITE game EVER. Hands down! I have spent DAYS playing this, barely eating or sleeping, really only pausing to use the restroom. I thoroughly enjoyed playing as Iscalio & Esgares. I like the bad guys.
Ah so you prefer the way of the Tyrant! Hehehe, awesome! Iscalio was the 5th LP I did. Esgares was 3rd. Check them out if you wanna watch some if your favs. ;)

I remember those days when the attack animation start, I always press x hoping to lands critical strike..
At the end, lance was like "you, you killed my father" and Cador shoulda said "No Lance...I AM YOUR FATHER!"
as a big fans of brigandine and vaynard is my hero , this video makes me so happy. ahh really aprecite it !

If you have access to a laptop or desktop then you can always play with an emulator. I made a full tutorial on how to setup Brigandine with ePSXe. I'll post the link below.

Cool I'm still super blind at this game but will learn as I watch. Didn't know the blue area buffs your units or keeps them not weak so will bevery helpful because the first battle...I died
That is one of the most heal-heavy teams I've ever seen. :-) Great video, great game. One of my all-time favorites.

I look forward to it! Leonia was always my favorite country to play for some reason. I always thought Kiloph's growth rate was one of the best in the game.
Indeed he does grow well. He's approaching Avenger status very quickly in the LP. Currently pumping out the episodes for that.

I FUCKING LOVE THIS GAME!!!! i've beaten this game 30+ times since i was a kid, i started playing when i was about 9 and i've loved it ever since XD
much to my dismay however, my PS2 that i had for almost 20 years finally took it's last breath and worse still, my brother stole my copy of this game and sold it *cries*
i've been aching to play this game again for quite a while now along with several other PS1 and PS2 classics that i still have... i'm planning on buying a new PS2 and copy of brigandine SOON
i also want to get a switch so i can try out the 'remake'
You're gonna LOVE the remake. I recently completed my first run of it on my channel with the Holy Gustava Empire. Had an amazing experience!
I already played that until now.. but the most important rule while playing as New Almekia is to regard Caerleon as an ally until the end of the game... nothing else...

Wait so I’ve played this game numerous times, who’s the free knight when you take out one of Esgare’s castles?
Knights name is Schutleis. You have to be the first one to take over one of the Empire's castles.
Ohh that guy, is he any good? I usually just wait until I get Dogal, Hyude and Cortina
He's decent. Starts at level 12 Cavalier with 175 Rune power. The highlight of him though is you can recruit Soleil from the Empire after beating them. And Soleil had HUGE Rune Power at his starting level. Schutleis and Soleil are old friends in the lore.
i would like to play this emulator as i love this game! no idea how to download it though, any tips or advice how to download it?

Sure! I'd be happy to help. First you need the emulator, ePSXe.

Then you need the game file of course for Brigandine.

Then finally you need the BIOS file.

Place the BIOS file inside the "bios" folder that is located inside the ePSXe folder. In order to run the game, open up the ePSXe emulator after setting everything up. Go to File>Run ISO>Load the ".cue" file of Brigandine. After that you're good to go. Go to the Config menu to set up your controls how you like. Plus you can use a controller with this emulator.

+Valkos Lunari i downloaded the emulator, the game, and the bios file is in where it should be and when i try to launch it as administrator it has a pop up and closes the application saying it was unable to start correctly , any idea why?
You shouldn't have to Run it as admin. Try it without. If that doesn't work, try running it in compatibility mode. Lemme know.
+Valkos Lunari i got it working but the main menu is a little buggy. It either replays the intro over and over or i press new and it lets me select the difficulty but not what country i want to be! it makes me Iscalio

That's definitely a new issue to me, however this plugin should help along with these settings I use for mine. Hopefully that should clear things up. Here's the plugin:

place the "gpuPeteOpenGL2.dll" file into the plugins folder in the ePSXe folder. After that, open the emulator, go to Config>Video>Select Pete's OpenGL Driver 2.9 from the drop down menu>Select Configure and use the following settings:
Resolution/Color:
- 640x480 Window mode
- Internal X resolution: 1
- Internal Y resolution: 1
- Keep psx aspect ratio: off
- No render-to-texture: off
- Filtering: 0
- Hi-Res textures: 0
- TexWin pixel shader: off
- VRam size: 0 MBytes
Framerate:
- FPS limitation: on
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: Auto
Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 2
- Framebuffer effects: 3

+Sol Guerin It varies depending on the difficulty you pick, faction you choose, and how well you strategize in the Overworld. An average playthrough would take you probably around 20 hours without being a completionist.
