Elaborate: don’t buy too many plug ins, actually try to find more free stuff instead, this is so you learn how to make something sound good with products that aren’t necessarily the best on the market, but if you do want to spend some money, I’d suggest serum (or minimonsta which is my choice for moog based synths) to learn more about creating synths from scratch.

@@TheAdventuresofTyAdams were they loops or one shots? I see them pop up when I select loops with bpm information. Maybe a glitch if you're not seeing them for your loops or anything
I absolutely love FL Sudio 24. A feature I'd like to see is when you're recording your raps or singing your song all you would have to do is let it know what key you want your song in then let it know that you want hard and happy, dark and upbeat and AI would change your voice to match the keys. That would be a cool feature to add on.
I could see using the CPT as a learning tool for guys like me who is working on learning to play piano on my own and slowly learning chord progressions, etc.. I just updated everything the other day so I have yet to mess around with it since the drivers on my PC all went to hell after the update... finally got the midi controller working again so I am looking forward to checking it all out!

You're right, there's not much in this update, Probably the only two things I will use are the chord progression generator and the spreader. I hope the next update, we could use a chord detector and/or am A.I singer

I think imageline had some questionable communication on this release. They made the installer available on the website before it was announced on their media channels, which kinda opened the door for not getting stuff right. Also because there is a name change, people expect a lot of differences like a "Big" version change, even though if you look on the forums the developers don't see it like that.
No that is normal. It's announced on the forum, the video is also shared before listed there. It's called a soft release and we did it for almost all releases over the last few years. But yes, 24.1 is technically 21.3, which is not really a major release. But it is what it is, we have to roll with it now haha.

Information does spread fast, yes, but content creators also jump on things they see as quick as possible without double-checking or similar. I'm not sure who it was, but someone made a video about the FL Studio beta, and didn't make it clear that it was the beta. I think it was a title like 'the new release...' meant as 'the next release will...' so we had 100s of users flooding our forums with the question: 'I'm up-to-date, but where is the Chord-Progression-Tool?!? Fix your s***' It wasn't released, so the communication was really bad from the content creators side. Which happens quite often sadly. If someone isn't sure what's 100% included, just press 'HELP > Whats New' in FL Studio, even works offline :P. Thanks, try to help as good as possible :D
I don't think the name change is a big deal. Anyone into beat-making or producing knows what version we are on and when the next will drop. My biggest issue with 24 is the freezing!!
I don't think his opinion ever changed, i think he has some type of contract or relationship with FL at the least that he has to uphold. you could tell in the last video he was hesitant and regretful about the negative things he had to say, constantly trying to make excuses for the "developers" saying they actually worked "Hard" on this lackluster release. at the end of this video he is pretty much asking us to confirm what he originally said....

My Guy, Image-Line made it clear (to me at list 🤔🤨) why they named the software FL Studio 24, which is actually FL Studio 2024 - FL 24 or FL Studio 24 in short. Changing from FL Studio 12 to FL Studio 20 was because they were celebrating their 20th anniversary and not because there were new features (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong 😁) and hence FL 12 to FL 20. OfCourse new features were introduced but had nothing to do with the actual name change (they were just ready at that time of release, I guess. 🙂) Image-Line explained that they decided to do a name change in order to "match" the year the software would've been released. Since it's the year 2024, the release is FL Studio 2024, next year - FL Studio 2025 and yes in short - FL 24 and FL 25. I hope you get it now, cheers

Is your fl synced to online cloud storage like onedrive? I heard that was a problem. I just recently Uninstalled it and fl, and all my plugins and am in the process of reinstalling everything. FL seems to be running better now that everything is off one drive though.
You're straining to push out these videos so fast and hard that you're going to get a wicked hemorrhoid. BPM and Key info is absolutely part of the "traditional browser" if the clip you're checking actually has that metadata. Easily confirmed with little effort.

7:50 Those new browser features are only available for loops you have that have the tempo bpm and key information that's why

Tempo and key feature is in the browser but it only works with samples with tempo and key metadata for now.

7:56, u can change the BPM in your in your own samples, but only certain ones. The little keyboard doesn't show for all the samples, but it does work.
