I dont really care for the idea of speed running beats but his speed run beats still sound decently good. I believe quality>quantity in every aspect of music, and I believe rob knows that too. The fact that he say's its all a joke to him shows that his hearts really in the music. He's found a niche that works for him and is capitalizing off of it. These are not quick productions. They are just quickly put together. All the time spent on the process to be able to do this counts too. It's actually vastly more important than the minutes shown here. Just because he starts with a blank slate doesn't mean it's done with zero preparation. Without it, it would be unintelligible trash.

Once the fundementals are memorized of what can go where then its second nature theres not a whole lot to it. It really boils down to there is a set pattern and outline synth bass hard hat clap etc and then formatted. When u luve on FL it gets super easy kinda like solvibg a rubiks cube in under 5seconds
