I feel your pain/pain in the ass..lol. I hated looking at Ms. Liu every day seeing all the cracked plastics, zip ties, and Bungie cords hanging off her that held everything together..
If I learned anything new from this experience it's that Bungie's are awesome for holding everything together .. I have a new respect for them, right up there with zip ties and duck tape..lol
I now carry one long cord in my trunk as part of my tool pack for those unexpected moments when shit blows a part.

Good to see you still got your bike. You may not remember me, but I have 3 of these, one of each color and the 20th anniversary edition which was a mess. I got them all up and running! Keep up the good work and shiny side up!!
Yeah tony I do believe I do remember.. long time! Man I envy you being able to hold three bikes.. wish I had the room to do the same. I was tempted a few months back to pick up a sweat deal on another K5 just the same.. wanted to make it a str8 custom.. but atlas the wife pulled rank and brought me to my senses.. two car garage with two cars and two bike would be a little tight..
Told the wife I'm willing to give up a kid and covert that room to an indoor shop.. , she didn't find that to funny... I was offended that she was offended..lol.

on 2017-2020 GSXR 1000R, the connector that plug into dashboard/speedometer/gauge, could you please tell me which wire ( color code) is the ground and which wire is 12 volt power supply/source to the dashboard?

Sorry brother, I don't have the service manual for that but!.. Google 2017 Suzuki GSXR 1000 r wiring diagram and you should have your answer.
