The bad rulers of Mondstadt (Eulas family) led after the archon war, but it was still quite some time before the cataclysm. I dont know the exact numbers but yeah..
I loved when they saw makoto die, and Lyney thought "i dont kbow what i would do if my sistet died"(or smt like that) and in his backstory, he was abaut to get a dilusion, only to ge with her in missions (For those who forgot, dilusions can kill the user)

2:07, she actually pulls her sword from her heart! She transferred her consciousness to the sword. The sword shes using is actually the previous electro archons swords, Baal. Also known as, Ei's sister; Makoto who sacrificed herself in the archon war. And beelzebub; Ei actually ended up willingly sacrificing her body for Makoto (her sister) so she would be able to ascend to celestia and become one of the seven. It's why Ei has to borrow the Raiden Shogun's body sometimes if she wants to move in the physical word due to that. She uses a polearm to fight, but during her burst or alt whatever you like to call it, she takes the sword out from her heart to use it.
