Complimenti. Oss

    Sifu is not striking or hitting those students he just shows them their valnurable and open sides,and making those physical contacts is the only way to teach effectively.and at the end of the day you are learning a martial art not any massage technique or anything like that,hope some people understand what I am trying to say.

    @11Kralle I train myself in two ways in chisao..First soft and smooth looking the details,trying to relax and the second which is more fighting and realistic.I think both are needed.Chisao anyway is needed to become better in the fight,or else we would not practise on it

  • @dlvt79

    @11Kralle Basically this tecnik(if i am also not mistaken) is to make it when the enemy is in tension and never when he is relaxed.So it is not bad also for a beginner(so he can anderstand the diference between soft and hard).Truth is that u can'learn wc without feel it on u in a degree.If u train too soft, u will have false view of your abilities.It is like every art.If u are not get hit,wrestled or anything how u will feel uncomfortable so to react your body?Thank u..Peace

    The student is so tense and rigid. Cant even do the bong properly. Maybe relaxing is the first thing he should learn instead...

      It seems to me as if they were very stressed because sifu Sergio seems to be wanting to prove himself very much here. Maybe the camera, the insecurity, ambition, ... idk. He seems to have put his ego aside more recently and calmed down a lot.

    • @souvikmukherjee2349
      @souvikmukherjee2349 5 років тому

      Yeah I am also saying the same.. Even many of his demonstration videos of Chi Sao are stuffed with such things where the student's body is not relaxed and even they don't have good structure
      . It is very clear that the student doesn't practice Siu Nim Tao regularly even doesn't study how the internal structure of the body and doesn't study much dimensionally several subjects.. He should understand how the spinal power works, energy system of the cosmos and how the body floats around nature.. How spiritual understanding, mindfulness, religious aspects work, energy aspects of elements of life work, correct theories of Wing Chun system to the ultimate form Baat Jaam Do and how the softness hardness works really in Chim Kiu, Biu jee and other martial arts.. Then he/she will become invincible.. Relaxation is important.. This video is shot to conveys only technical Fan Sao (flow of technical skills unlimited) -that's all.. Energy sphere inside understanding is important+Chakra system how they work here and how Danten system works here

    If I am not mistaken, such chi-sao-drills are nothing for white-shirts, but this seems to be the new way of `teaching´. In the end, the one who is training here, seems to be sifi sergio! The students learn about feeling real wingchun coming to them, understanding how much there is to do...

  • @11Kralle
    @11Kralle 13 років тому

    @dlvt79
    But do you `fight´ your teacher in the same manner like you do with a beginner? I mostly do form-training (2 hours a day) which is i.m.O. the most important for the aspects of getting/keeping health. Chi-Sau drills I do once a week for ca. 4 hours. Lat-Sao or a free form of fighting excercise I do as often someone from other martial arts invites me. I never do harder fights with other wingchun-pupils, because there is no way of getting beyond that peculiar wc-knowledge.

    La cosa ridicola è che il Sifu si diverte solo ad entrare contro gli allievi .. .che sfizio ci prova . . . è pure ovvio che entra nel chisao cosi facilmente!! ci mancherebbe . . . .ma insegnare e trasmettere ad un allievo è tutt'altra cosa!!!

    It depends on what you are going to learn. We have a spelling here too `Pain is the best teachers´. Wingchun is mainly developed to defend stronger and greater opponents - some people forget about that. Nevertheless, the shown students havent got control over their actions at all and it needs a WC-master like Sifu Sergio to cope with that. I know a magic way to learn (diligence), but not to teach. WC-Training consist in pracise of the little things. Fights are a common fault in Chi-Sao!

    I would strongly recommend for everyone that has any interest in Wing Chun and the Chi Sao exercise to check out Philip Bayer which is one of the direct student of Wong Shun Leung and see an entire different energy, attacking concept and the hand placements. With due respect to all Wing Chun instructors, I believe that Philip Bayer is by far on a completely different level than anybody else in all aspects of Wing Chun and how it is supposed to be applied.

    Later we had a seminars with Si Fu Nick Smart. Now i study with Si Fu Nikolay Pechanov in Sofia, Bulgaria. Never seen such a "Master" like one on this video, who wants only to demonstrate not to teach...

    It depends to your chi-sao partner! If hes equally good, applying your method would be appropriate. If hes much better the realistic way will hurt you and train him more than yourself. If your much better, you have got to reduce the fighting parts to controls and checks, even some chain-punches on the chest. Dont get me wrong: Sifu Sergio earned that yellow shirt, but he should not humiliate beginning students by filming.

    My Sifu doesn't do it to me. It doesn't show me anything at all. In order to show you what a full on hit would be like my Sifu lightly punches my chest or neck. We wouldn't be able to take any of his hits to the face anyways.

    • @francescoskorpion9557
      @francescoskorpion9557 4 роки тому

      @@sacrafiamma5982 ho dato la spiegazione a ciò che vedo... Lo sport da combattimento è altro e non è per tutti. Non tutti sono disposti a fare quei sacrifici fisici. Non ci sono paragoni. Arti diverse per fini e persone diverse. Il wing chun è uno stile yin e yang morbido e duro allo stesso tempo. Essere fluidi e dolci contro uno stimolo "duro" non è semplice. Ci vogliono anni di apprendimento. Nel karate infatti ci sono i kata e il kumite. Non siamo tutti nati per combattere come non siamo tutti nati per apprendere uno stile di kung fu antico e poi insegnarlo ad altri. Esistono insegnanti, praticanti e fighter. Molti non sanno le differenze.

    This is a sad display of VT. All of your students are a reflection of your teaching. You are not doing Chi Sao you are Wrestling. You have not completed a single roll. This at best would be called dynamic tension.There is absolutely no structure . You are using nothing but speed and muscle. Your shoulders are probably shot or will be. What a shame considering VT is a great system! Unfortunately this is the future of it.
