      Dude pressure these guys more! Don't let them hit you and not prove the system works under pressure. Why not ask them to apply with sparing? These dudes control the mind first, get you compliant and then show you the so called truth. Your channel would be killer if you actually said ok PROVE IT.

    14:27 - Target, weapon, target, weapon, strike
    - This is the BEST advice, it actually works. Never think in a fight it interrupts your ABILITY to attack because you try to CALCULATE the battle instead of looking for OPEN targets.

    Hi
    I have a question you´ll hopefully answer. How were Sifu Sergio, Mizner and Kaufmann feeling different when touching hands? I mean, when it comes to power, neutralizing force and being sung.
    Very cool show by the way. God bless

    Fascinating. I wonder what the other HK Wing Chun Systems think of this Guy. The system I trained in had a heavy emphasis on relaxation but also taught about bringing power from the ground.

    There is no other WC that looks like this but Systema looks like what he is doing. Also in the mother arts like White Crane they work different.True more soft internal WC can be found in the vietnames linage of WC "Vinh Xuan". He is making this up here. He took a lot from Systeme and sell it as result of his research. Its so cheap and inglorious.

      @Eternaprimavera73 8 років тому +3

      well, according to russians, it seems that systema is the older of the two, but in this era everything is mixed how never happened in history. GMA globalized martial arts.

    • @ImperialStoneDragon
      @ImperialStoneDragon 8 років тому +3

      not sure what GMA is, but good point about globalization and historical vagueness
      well, according to some websites systema as a part of slavic martial arts can be traced back to 10th century. and if we take the legend of wing chun about the monk woman, it should have started somewhere in the 17th century. BUT: since wing chun has its roots in the white crane and emei martial arts, we are comparing not the particular styles but ideas (e.g. softness) of two martial arts: slavic and eastern. and now it gets really fuzzy but we know that the chinese culture (roughly 4000years) is far more ancient than the slavic. There is archaeological evidence of kung fu in China dating back to at least 500 BC, which should be enough to surpass the slavic tradition. not to mention the question how far "kung fu" has been influenced by indian martial arts. and if we take india as one of the ancient cultures (and also martial art cultures...) into account, east should "win". of course since russia is huge, an exchange of ideas could be possible.
      well we are in the historical fog zone

    I've studies Wing Chun and later got in to Taiji, , ,
    Now I do my wing chun, pretty much in the same way as this gentleman is explaining. and demonstrating.
    ps Russian Systema utilizes many of the same principles. of relaxation etc.

    White Crane is similar to Goju Ryu Karate not Wing Chun. White Crane have Sanchin just like Karate and there are 4 style of White Crane : flying crane, crying crane, sleeping crane, feeding crane, which white crane you referred in the video? Goju Ryu Karate came from Crying Crane style, their master went to Fujian to learn it and name it as Karate in Japan.

      But what is Wing Chun?! What is any fighting art from the past? Wing Chun is supposed to be one of the younger ones at 400 years! One day far in the future people will have the same discussions about today's fighting arts. The only difference is today's fighting arts are not about life and death!! Well depending on where you live or if you are in the armed forces. But good point.

    This sinking energy is difficult to understand:
    Are you :
    Lowering your body weight exerting
    leverage pressure Force upon the ground?
    Exerting muscular contraction Force
    Pressing against the ground?
    Compressing the internal structure of the body toward the ground?
    Sending electro-magnetic energy into the ground?
    Sending Chi internal energy through the body's meridians into the ground?
    Sending a combination of kinetic and non-kinetic energy into the ground?
    Thank you just trying to develop a more perceptive undetstanding!!!
    Also you mentioned an uprising in Chinese history.
    In 2020 people of all the nations in the world are demonstrating for social justice!!!

    It's ironic listening to most of these instructors talking about how to use their system in a fight, I wonder how many actual fights they've been in, real or professional fights. All else falls flat on it's face.

  • @WCtrainer1
    @WCtrainer1 4 роки тому

    Internal energy and Tai chi are great for the soul, body and mind but they are grossly overrated and ineffective in actual full force fighting. People need to move on from this notion that these two can coexist. Incorporating the internal energy in to wing Chun doesn't change the fact either. One is for body and mind and fighting is everything but.

    • @Aznbomb3r
      @Aznbomb3r 4 роки тому +2

      Didn't Ramsey Dewey talk about getting destroyed by an 80 year old taichi master? This old man then proceeded to take out a judo coach and sanda coach right after.
      The real problem isn't that it's impossible to use, the problem is that it's too hard to use. Staying relaxed when someone is punching the shit out of you is quite insane.
      Stuff like muay thai and bjj will work for 9 out of 10 people, while internal martial arts only works for 1 out of a billion lol... but when it does work, it seems quite destructive.

    In theory and practice everything sounds effective but in a "real" fight with a professional fighter everything goes out the window. Post some real fighting clips and see how much of what these instructors theorize works. It seems when they all talk about "fighting" it's as if they've had so many fights but in reality have never had a single professional fight.
