What To Know Before Eating Texas Roadhouse Steak Again
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 гру 2021
- Since 1993, Texas Roadhouse has served only USDA Choice steaks alongside its other popular Texas-sized portions of tasty fare like free peanuts and golden-brown rolls served with cinnamon honey butter. Yum! Texas Roadhouse aims to bring a little bit of country to all of its locations, which adds to the charm. Past the free birthday appetizers, saddle rides, and blaring country music, however, it all comes down to how well they can cook a steak. Looking for a refresher on the steakhouse chain and what it has to offer, especially in the steak department? Here's what to know before eating Texas Roadhouse steak again.

What is your favorite item to order at Texas Roadhouse?
It going to be long with a great menu but I love the cinnamon butter rolls, Caesar salad, road kill steak, french fries or fried pickles with a sweet Mississippi Brownie... Fans you should all so have the grilled shrimp, and doggy bag of buffalo wings...
The 16 oz sirloin is my favorite!!
The ribeye😋
@@lauriemathews7974 xx
6 oz sirloin. At it's worse (rarely) its a good steak. Usually, it's a GREAT steak.
one of the best things about this place is their chili....out of this world!!!!
Texas Roadhouse is the ONLY restaurant all of my friends and family universally love. It’s such a good value and the rolls and honey butter are Heaven. The service is good and I love how much they support the military.
I had the BEST steak I've had out in MANY years....EVERYTHING was GREAT!!!! OUR server was EXCELLENT....I got a hold of corporate told them I had a GREAT time it was that good
I've never had a bad steak at Texas Roadhouse and the rolls are fantastic!! I always order a dozen to take home .
They never get my steak cooked correctly..what part of medium well is so hard to figure out? 😂
@@blueknight5754 i would have sent the steak back and asked them to try again
@@lauriemathews7974 I do..but it’s almost every time I go..I don’t think people know how to cook a steak honestly
@@blueknight5754 that's sad that the Texas Roadhouse you go to can't get it right.
@@blueknight5754 I've been a Texas Roadhouse server for 10 years and people always say that we never get it right everytime they come. So I always have wanted to ask them why the hell you keep coming back then???
I used to work at roadhouse for a few years. The prime rib is the best. Love a Mashed potatoes loaded and green beans and smother the steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions. The steaks are cheap but they’re decent quality. What they do is price the hell out of the seafood (shrimp, salmon, catfish) however.
The rolls are so good! Love the steak too
I had dinner in LA at a 5 star steakhouse and it paled in comparison to the (same cut) of steak I had here on my way home from the airport!
Hard to believe, but true!
Bone in rib-eye!👍🏻😊
Word on the street is they have the same grade beef as Ruth Chris, they just don’t charge you for the fancy plate it comes on. 👀
Rest In Peace W Kent Taylor!! Truly a great CEO and leader. Worked for TR during the first half of the recession and we did great due to management choices!! Love the prime rib ❤️
I've been going to TX Roadhouse at least once a month for the last 2 years and Ive never had a bad steak at any location. Mind you I only order steak
Too bad the roadkill is a 10 oz beef patty and not a steak 🤷🏻♂️
Actually it's what is called chopped steak. Therefore it is in fact steak.
@@ArkansasGamer I worked as a broil and a cutter at roadhouse for 6 years. I know a few things about beef and how we prep it but okay…😂👌🏻

Cosmic, I just came back from Texas roadhouse
regarding the comment its like the olive garden...well, maybe
In fact I'm sure you can find better steaks out there (Ruth and Chris, motley...let alone peter Lugar)
but all in all, it's a really fun place...their steaks are really good, the price is reasonable (even cheap) and there is a really warm and lively atmosphere....
perfect for coming in once every few weeks and relxing
and BTW, there are no peanuts...at least not in northern California
Prime rib with loaded bake potato and an old fashion with a Luxardo cherry.
Heaven.
I love Texas roadhouse period
Our local TR doesn't have baked beans or cole slaw on the menu. TR needs to enforce some minimum standards on franchisees.
None in Central Ohio do 😢
In San Antonio we no longer get the peanuts anymore
Same for Union City, Ca site, no peanuts.
Don't have them here in Corpus Christi!!
This is not a Texan company and it never has been!!
@@christianoliver3572most people actually appreciate that we do that because we're trying to fight covid
The one off 281 does
I smoked that shit now I’m watchin TRH vids
Depends on the pitmaster. I've been to TRH in North Carolina that were to die for. I've also been to TRH in Texas that I didn't much care for.
They don’t really have pits though tbh but
Sad that peanuts are gone! I’m guessing covid did this
Love roadhouse. I get the Dallas filet all the time. I like medium though. Because I have a disease that's made me have to eat slow. So even though I love medium rare I go woth medium because it stays warmer longer. And far as sides I think the greenbeans are the best there so good and underrated imo.
Steak not being fatty enough is more likely.
I miss the nice bucket appetizer of peanuts you had offered in some restaurant but a good thick, juicy, well done steak is worth the trip... Tip you got have one with a nice baked potato or french fries it devine steak lovers....
You have to gave it to the chef,on who your steak is cooked, and Texas Roadhouse is up there with the top 3.
How did they get the name texas roadhouse. I never been here
AKA an seasoned tenderizer steak .
I'm a regular and the ribs and chicken are just as good.
No matter how hard I try, I can never get my steaks to look and smell as good as THR's steaks when they're delivered to your table!!
Try dumping a pound of salt on it.
I get better steaks lol
Maybe I eat at better TR restaurants, but the best steak is the Porterhouse. Sometimes not flavored as good, sometimes the best in the world, but its a $40 steak.
I ordered BBQ Chicken meal,, I figured it be a least a 1/4 leg of chicken smoked in a BBQ Grill and in reality I got 2 4 inch chicken patties,,, with BBQ sauce and french fries. A lot of money for 2 chicken patties,,,,, Why didn't I just go to Burger King. WTF.. vice to say I will go else where.
I love Texas Roadhouse. Their sirloin steaks are fantastic.
My wife likes to go to red lobster now and then and I decided to try their filet mignon. The picture they show look like a flaming on, but the steak they provided was not even close. I would've considered that steak a disappointment if I got it at Texas Roadhouse.
TRH is one of the most overrated restaurants I have ever dined at. I would NEVER dine there again...10oz ribeye looked like a slice of roast beef.
Texas Roadhouse don't have peanuts due to Covid
Big sad
The best steak 😋
We have a local steakhouse that is modeled after roadhouse but the steak fajitas are freaking awesome. Don't get me wrong the steaks are great it's just I prefer the fajitas
I grew up in south Florida and never knew about Texas Roadhouse until I was in my late 20’s as I grew up going to a place called “Roadhouse Grill” which like yours I’m assuming was modeled after Texas Roadhouse as they served and had all the same dishes even the peanuts on the table lol
Glad I wasn’t the only one with this type of experience.
@@CptFuzzAldrin what makes me laugh about Texas roadhouse is that it didn't start in Texas, it was Evansville Indiana
I hate that damm Resturant. Frozen non fresh steaks and very long wait times. I will never eat there again.
Unfortunately, he suicided due to depression and severe tinnitus! 8(
Love how there are bags of nuts now not buckets
Yes so glad they got rid of the buckets to help fight covid! Bless them 🙏🙏
I thought this was gonna be a negative video lol 😂
No peanuts anymore.
California does not have peanuts
This is really old the prices are incorrect and the roadkill isn't a steak 😒.
kent taylor? i thought it was ted nugent
I get overcooked steak and lots of fat everytime.had to wait 45 minutes to get a seat.
The awfully loud music is enough to keep us away.
This is just basic and not worth the long waits. If you want to go and just eat and there is no line, then yes but other than that, it's not all that.
Mmmm I want to eat peanuts again. But the world doesnt allow it anymore...
You can ask for them!
lol
I would not recommend it. I had the worst service.cold steak and waited 2hours to be waited on. The management doesn't know how to deal with customers. It was cooked wrong and dry. Bad service.wouldnot recommend it. Outback steak house is 100 percent bettet
You waited two hours to be waited on? Lol
@@betterthanemril988 it wasn't even busy. Bad management. I was late for work too
Nothing to brag about. Way overpriced. Too load! Terrible pours on drinks.
Road house steaks are low quality and taste poorly.
This is literally just a 4 and a half minute paid commercial. Move on.
So let me get this straight, the CEO gave up his salary which equal the salaries of all of his front line workers? There is the actual problem. He should have permanently raised all of their salaries. In reality the CEO is the roadkill.
No, he is not roadkill. Please do a little more research, before you make a statement. You will find that he really supported his employees, and felt like the company was family.
He was a great guy and loved by his employees. He brought a lot of people up his ladder of success.. great guy with a tragic end
Texas Roadhouse is awful
Absolutely horrible quality steak. In line with the low price point.
Pfffffft if you think Texas Roadhouse steaks are good you have no idea what good steak taste like. This place is a huge disappointment for any real bbq guys.
