If they fix the performance back to what it was and get AMD FSR to actually work this will be a pretty solid update.
They had some changes to carnivore diets aswell, Dilo's new diet is pretty good imo, also sea turtles actually exist now !

The isle having performance issues despite being in UE5, having DLSS support and Kouga having an I9 and 1660? Oh man I would never see that coming

@@KougaArt oh that's my bad, misread. That's still a pretty decent CPU from my understanding tho
These performance problems are normal, that's why it's in a test version, the devs will probably fix it, because they changed all of the game lighting, and made a lot of adjustments to the map, coming without any problems is almost impossible.

@@KougaArt they do a little claw attack with their feet when you point down and jump. And they bite above them when you point up
The aerial directional attack probably refers to the "up/down attacks" where they mentioned in the March devblog (PS: looked a little bit into it, it was mentioned half a year ago in dev stream, where it says basically you can aim up or down while you attack with a mid-jump), though I have no idea that they ever existed (or non-existed)

I see Pteras still not getting the help it needs with that awful night vision
And their grazing the top of water needs to be far to close to water to activate. Should be able to grab fish that have leaped out of water more easily
-Give them the ability to land on and balance on branches like the Herra.
-Rebalance stamina and stamina regen it's a bit brutal.
-Give them better night vision for the love of god they starve to death if spawning at night or if they don't pack their belly before night.
-Increase the lackluster crab, turtle spawns for coastal players (Like it wouldn't take much there is basically NO spawns)
-Let us pickup stones or something so we can drop them on people like assholes! (Mostly a joke but i would laugh if they did something like this)
@thecommenter9678 I think pteradons should get diet from other pteradon aswell. Give you something to worry about, otherwise you are basically untouchable. At l3ast until they give us the quetzlcoatlus lol
@@owenduck Maybe if they fix the stamina, lack of sufficient food, out of date controls, bad night vision. Then yes, maybe add cannibalism, but honestly i would just prefer other flying predators, something with more teeth to it. But as it stands the flying life is hard enough for me =D

The First Person Camera is a neat addition for going through denser foliage while being small.

For the ariel attacks:
Look all the way down and jump+lmb for kick.
Look all the way up and jump+lmb for upwards bite
Once you get the hang of it they are really easy to do! I love doing them as a raptor, and almost every raptor I see takes advantage of them. Definitely helps in combat!
The unstuck command has a cooldown of about 90 minutes if i remember correctly, so it cannot be abused as easily.

but still, it's a 1660ti. The Isle's performance is a global problem, you can check the official discord to see, people with a 4070 are stuck with 100 frames when they should be way higher. @@trey740

@@trey740 If you know anything about TI, you know that while its got it nice parts, Its HORRIBLY optimized, and most games can run 40-100FPS higher with as good or better graphics and complexity of environment

Wow, this means an adult Stego can be grabbed when swimming! That’s cool, Stegos actually have to be careful now and can’t just mindlessly retreat into water when fighting other packs.
Finally a unstuck command i being dying to many times bying stuck, btw change shadows to medium to see better underwater as a Gator

I Love that deino can finally pull adult stegos underwater if they are swimming. It was something that buggert me
I think it should drain stam before stegosaurus dies though, so you would need 2 crocs to kill
@@owenducknah, it is already very rare that you see a stego swimming on the current map. Also you are capable of killing swimming adult stegos in current version, just block it and bite the head (should be 5 hits). The throwing would just be visually more impressive and less annoying.

it's not an update for now! this version is for testing, you can switch your beta from Evrima to hordetesting to check it out
An GTX1660Ti pressing out around ~30FPS with mid-high settings in 1080P is NOT a performance issue. It is just the performace your GPU will give you. Remember that this is in UE5, one of the newest engines around and it looks gorgeous! The GTX1660Ti is from early 2019, thats 5 years now. Sorry to say but with this GPU, even if they optimize the game more, you wont go any higher with the FPS.

it is a performance issue, having in mind the current branch I get solid 60fps with everything maxed out. My friend, which has a 4060ti, is struggling with lack of FPS even if they turn DLSS on. The devs even said in the post: "performance still needs to be worked on"

On the current branch maybe but if they use more lighting in the New Patch it could cause oder gpu's to struggle. Of course the 4060 from your friend should do way better!
I cap at 60fps with a 1060ti and have all settings on medium, without cap i get 80-97fps. Really don't understand how people have issues. I'm not tech minded, like at all so I don't understand the problems but I hear about them all the time

@@dark_c_a_t8894 sim, clica com o botão direito no ícone da steam e "sair", aí abre a steam de novo. Você também pode tentar trocar o Beta do jogo e voltar pro hordetesting pra ver se ajuda em algo

I hate that, set growth puts me on edge, makes me play sensibly to obtain that full grown. Most servers now are just going to be dinosaur wreckfest because they'll set their growth times to minimal

Its not bad i can run most games on desent fps, Its just the isle, like i have a rtx 3060 and still get around 60-70 fps, so to even get over a 100 u need something expensive..sadly

@@Bleghspread it’s the stamina. Absurd IMO that venom is locked to broken pounce. Not only does Troodon have to attack with stamina, you have to be on the constant move dodging attacks, and if your target decides to run you use stamina to chase. Any time i try to hunt something bigger than a juvie I’m running out of stamina and have to sit for 4 minutes to get it back. The only saving grace for Troodon is it regains HP fast

an update before this my game 60fps smooth, of course there's performance problems, they even said it in the post that it needs to be worked soon
@@KougaArt Im not saying there are no performance/optimization problems. Im saying that there are people that expect the game to run at 200fps on a 1000 series gpu. I have a 4070ti and I dont have any performance problems. I know that not anyone can upgrade their gpu, but reality is reality
