This reminds me of something that happened when playing this game recently. I was playing as a juvenile Thala, and I was searching for food or something, when a Rhamph jumped on my back and just held on for a bit, and then jumped off. I encountered the same Rhamph later on, we just exchanged calls for a bit before they flew away
It is the best to jump on flyers with Rhamph, you can even pounce bats
