Why isn't Melanie Parra being played, with all that talent and natural skill? The coach keeps her on the sidelines in favor of some less talented and less skilled. Melanie also plays and has played consistently for some time with her country's team.

I believe Kentucky had 4 Texas had 3
It's crazy to know that two players on this Kentucky team at the time eventually ended up transferring to Texas and in the process returned to their home states. Madi Skinner who has gone on to become a legend at Texas and has added two more titles, and Reagan Rutherford who just transferred to Texas following the 2023 season looking to win another with Madi this time at Texas. Should Skinner win another she would join some rare company by becoming just the 4th Women's College Volleyball player ever to win 4 National titles. As 3 players who played on the Penn State team from 2007-2010 where the team won 4 straight titles have each won 4 titles. Alyssa D'Errico, Blair Brown, and Arielle Wilson.

Don't get it. Why was Parra kept out of the game so completely? No sense. Unless she is seriously injured.
Jerritt said he needed more kill production and Parra wasn't quite there yet connection wise with the setter. Plus her block would have been abused against Kentucky and Texas was already going to get abused on the right side because of the setter being so short so there is no way you have both sides of the net with a blocking liability with a team like Kentucky. Leaving Parra out was definitely the right move. She should compete and possibly win a Starting spot this upcoming season.

Can someone tell me why liberos serve.. plz
You want the libero on the court as much as possibly because they’re the defensive specialist. It also has to do with who has the better more consistent serve so if the middles have better serving then you might consider pulling the libero for one rotation.
It's a specific NCAA and high school rule, not in effect in other country. at least not in mine.
Just in USA college and high school volleyball liberos serve. Not in any other country or in international play.

Texas’s passing and defense just couldn’t keep up. It was great for a Texas team, but to win the natty the ball needs to be right on target. All of their digs and passes were off the net making their offense so predictable. I believe Nalani Osia and Texas serving loss this game. Nalani doesn’t move her feet when she passes and Texas literally was serving gabby curry, not to mention they never mix in short serves. They need to keep teams on their heels. Also why is Texas so shallow in serve receive wtf ????
Molly Phillips hitting on right definitely doesn’t help too. This was Texas’s natty. They need to start recruiting liberos with quick feet and can pass/play defense well. Morgan O’Brien was huge, but not enough.

What a ridiculous statement. I am a Kentucky fan, but in sets 3 and 4 it wasn't a guarantee we would win, A team wins a set 25-20 yeah they never had a chance lol
@@kylehoward2961 first off texas is to good for Kentucky to not have to play all three and go into 4. Also the chemistry Kentucky has is something texas won't have for a while. Also watching kentucky play, they're smarter with their offence...for example Kentucky is placing balls where texas cant get to or just dosent go to begin with. Also Texas just goes up and swings, minus the exception of 1 or 2 hitters. Also texas coach almost never works with their liberos as much or not as close as he does with his offense.
